I had often thought of this myself. - The advant of AI in the muggle world could be replicated in some capacity using new magica painting techniques. - Having self flying brooms are good, but I always thought the various ways of long distance travel for wizards seemed rather harsh overall, particularly for the inexperienced. So, I imagine improvements in this area would be in order. - Hermione being Minister for Magic and likely trying to stil free House Elves may result in a House Elf uprising against the Ministry for trying to free them. As odd as that might sound. - In the muggle world our improved understanding of quantum mechanics, chemistry and biochemistry would likely carry over into the wizarding world in the form of improved and new potions. - And the note above I could see the acceptance of any technology that could be converted into something magical becoming more accepted in the wizarding world as more muggle born children enter and are better accepted into that world. (I'm thinking the flying car here as an example) Anything with strictly machanical operations that could have their electronic componants replaced with magical equivilants.
Teddy Lupin would not embrace dark magic with Harry as his Godfather and Andromeda as his grandmother. He has too many good influences around him and he knows that a dark wizard killed his parents.
Also Rose would have graduated & her younger brother Hugo would be in his 6th year. It's fun to imagine if Lily, Hugo & a friend or perhaps a similarly aged cousin would form a new golden trio at Hogwarts since the one comprised of their elder siblings & their friend Scorpius had graduated.
I could imagine the wizarding world would've made use of analog style of technology, those are now very old by 2024 standards. And that Ron Weasley and Arthur Weasley would've made the breakthrough in understanding that particular technology. The owl postal service would still be around, and probably wouldn't disappear yet. And also Arthur Weasley would definitely be able to understand how airliners from the 1940s to the 1950s, 1960s and 1970s and how they work. So muggle studies and such would be making breakthroughs in understanding muggle technology of yesteryear of the 20th century and barely scratching the 21st century.
I kinda don't see the magic world understand 1970 airliners. Remember, we had the dc10 back then. Which had features like an auto pilot, egpws, tcas, windshear detection and much more. Wizards are probably just getting to how to fly a lockid electra. Yes. I said flying, not knowing how it works.
Meanwhile Muggles have AI that is exponentialy getting better. I doubt wizzards would unerstand how Modern Computer/smartphone Works let alone AI and Internet, Analog technology is very simple and can be reverse engineered with little to no difficulty by someone smart.But Computer? Yea, you need To Understand various Fields at very high level to even attempt to Reverse engineer it.
As to AI, remember what Ginny was cautioned when she discovered Tom Riddle’s diary: Never trust something that can think for itself if you can’t see where its brain is.
In a way I feel like WVR could also like of be like using a pensive to look at memories, with the difference being that you wouldn't necessarily be looking at memories and you could interact with the surroundings.
Honestly Wizards in the Harry Potter universe have always come across as simple folk as in very traditional. All the buildings and ways of doing things seem very old fashioned and seem content on staying that way. So to me very little would change because it's peaceful and everyone is happy with things remaining the same.
It probably applies more to certain parts of their world than others. I can see the British Wizarding community staying relatively the same as before, but the American communities might probably try advancing their societal norms.

As much as I dislike Cursed Child, it does point to certain things that could rule out Scorpius as a dark wizard. He's good friends with Albus, and he's more compassionate than Draco or his grandparents. I think you're right about Carmen Zabini. She's the most likely to be a dark witch.
I think the wizarding world could enter in a statue of secrecy's crisis, where enforcing it has become too much of a burden, and there's a long and complicated discussion on demounting it. With conflicting parts in favor and against for a variety of reasons. And at least 2 possible points of rupture: - 1 Wizards having to rely on muggle's industry for certain ultra-precision pieces for magical objects, which is an evident source of security breaches and entry points for espionage. - 2 Rouge wizards doing ilegal businesses with muggles, specially private military operations, which might end up calling too much attention. Just imagine Hermione dealing with such a crisis and the threat of a total out war between muggles and wizards.
If there was a war between muggles and wizards, there would be very little chance long term for the wizards. They may have the upper hand at the very start, with the impirius curse etc, but once Muggles worked out magic’s limitations, and I’m sure they would, their superior numbers would eventually overwhelm the wizards.

Yea, in Hogwarts legacy there is really minimal difference between then and when the books take place, which is 100 years apart. So I really doubt there would be any change at all in the time since the books took place

Access to magic limits cultivation of non-magical methods, such as technology, martial arts, ect. They simply cannot understand a cultivation without magic at the center. Magic cultivation is far slower than technological.
Here’s an idea. The self flying brooms incorporate thestral hairs to give them the ability to navigate. And of course, they’d include an anti-burglar buzzer. 😉

You could speculate a future in which the magical and muggle worlds reunite. Maybe in 200 years when muggle technology makes it very hard for wizards to remain hidden. And the muggles would be advanced enough that they no longer see magic as a threat.
200 years is a stretch. Any magic being done outside of hidden magical areas is at risk of being on tiktok within minutes. Everyone is carrying a high-definition video camera in their pockets these days.
Love it! I bet magic would slowly creep into muggle society in certain ways, like with there being more people with a muggle parent wizards would want to keep them safe or even just help them improve their lives so maybe they would start giving muggle parent emergency magical objects, or objects to help travel in special situations like parent day type stuff. Even things like golems that could replace elves that could look like people so muggle parents can have house keepers that wouldn't stand out like floating mops or an elf.
Also things that resemble magical devices in modern muggle society like digital picture frames that have moving video images & slideshows might make wizarding society wonder if perhaps some among them were secretly working with muggles to inspire the creation of these seemingly "magical" devices that can be used by muggles 😊
WVR to me sounds like an enhanced dencarium. Instead of dropping in a memory, you drop in the scene you want to see. It also seems to me that they could bring back the Triwizard Tournament through WVR. They could make their tests as hard as they want without the risk of actually killing the participating students. There is also a concept art out there of a modern broomstick. It’s shaft is actually made of aluminum and it had a display at the top of the staff that displays stuff like speed, weather predictions and the angle of tilt. Kind of like a drivers display in a car but at slim enough for a broomstick shaft and instead a tad bit longer. It’s called the Nimbus 2022, a rather interesting take on a modern broomstick on Yanko Design.
I really wish we could one day get a book and of course film/show from that covering the wizarding world either in somewhere like the US, or back with Harry Potter and the characters we already know just to actually see and hear exactly what life is like for Harry and the others these almost 30 years laters.
Yeah I also want that very badly. And the title should be something like, Harry Potter and the life beyond. The books should be at least 15 to 16 chapters long, in no particular order of course, explaining the story of every surviving characters after the deathly hallows. Also how they overcome the challenges after the second wizarding war. How the modern wizarding world would have been looking like today. I really want to know not only life of our golden trio and every other characters, but also economic political social and cultural conditions of the wizarding world in general. And also last but not the least, a quick glimpse of the new generation. I mean at least we all deserve to know that much. Come on JKR.
! In the world of Harry Potter, a wheelchair would be quite special. It would have magical enhancements to make it more comfortable and useful. Firstly, it would be self-propelling. This means it could move on its own without needing to be pushed, using magic. It could follow the user's commands or even be controlled with a wand. The design would be elegant, probably made of polished wood and enchanted metal, giving it a traditional wizarding look. It might have cushioning charms on the seat for extra comfort. Additionally, it might have features like the ability to climb stairs or glide over rough terrain smoothly. It could also have a Disillusionment Charm to become invisible when needed, or a charm to make it shrink down for easy storage. In short, a magical wheelchair in Harry Potter's world would combine traditional design with useful spells to make it more functional and comfortable for the user.
So basically an enhanced power wheelchair (which I use already) that wouldn’t need to be charged every so often (no batteries needed). That would be nice if I could use my chair without remembering to charge the batteries once a week lol
I would wager that the Wizarding World wouldn't change much, as it is very insular and resistant to change. An odd addition (like the Hogwarts Express) might be implemented, but overall there wouldn't be much difference.
I think new generations of Wizards with connection to the Muggle world, who no longer have a reason to be ashamed of this, will certainly have inspiration from there. I can easily imagine a magical mirror that can connect to the Muggle lines of communication (phone lines or the internet), mental healthcare combining psychology and magic, or microbiology fused with advanced potions. Not to mention a magical person who uses their powers to gain success among Muggles (like a next-gen David Copperfield for example). Although I think magical people among Muggles will also make successful criminals. When that appears, one Auror will certainly be installed in the Muggle police forces at a high rank as a contact person for the Auror Department.
Tbh I hope they don't go high tech. Part of the charm of the wizarding world is the lack of muggle technology. There's the floo network anyway, along with brooms and apparition. Cars aren't necessary.
I have to wonder if there's a way to possibly substitute muggle electricity with magical energies. Like, could whatever magical power used to bring an inanimate object to life be used to power a robot?
Wizards can make lightning, which means that they can make electricity, and powering a device with magical electricity is just a matter of making sure the voltages and amperage are correct.

Umm, the first three things you said already existed for wizards, floo powder gets them anywhere there is a fireplace. They have enchanted many things to be able to communicate over distance and self driving brooms is technically already a thing, when Harry says accio Firebolt it Flys to him with Noone flying it lol.

Well in chamber of secrets WVR was kind of used for the flashback with Tom riddles’ dairy . So getting sucked into a book or crystal for educational or training purposes sounds plausible.
Random thought. I just figured out why the pedals were on the brooms in the movie. First imagine that you are on a broom without the pedals. Now imagine that you’ve leaned too far to either side. Now you are falling off of your broomstick because there was nothing for you to push against in order for you to right yourself, as there would have been if you were riding a bike or a motorcycle. Thus the pedals are there to enable you, the wizard, to keep yourself upright and balanced on it. If you weren’t as magical, you wouldn’t have to use the magic that you weren’t as good at in order to right yourself. If you were more magical, you could simply cast a self-righting spell and rely upon the pedals as a back-up plan. In this way, I do see the pedals in the Harry Potter movies as being very beneficial to anyone flying a broom.
I wouldn’t say wizards tend to do things more efficiently than regular humans. They’re traditional more than anything, broomsticks being a prime example. A lot of our current electronics are very effective, like FaceTime and the Internet. And a lot of ideas have been taken from our technology, such as magical umbrellas, trains and even some of the great ideas in this video such as WVR. Very creative ideas, nonetheless! :)
suprised not albus was mentioned, he was mentioned to have some resentment towards his father and he did end up in slytherin so i think he might be a potential one, there is also the bullying from his older brother jemes and some of the things ron was seying in the time skip at the end of last book.

I thought JK Rowling said Pansy Parkinson ended up never married (which doesn’t necessarily mean no children), but still thought it was weird I never heard of Carmen Zabini. I googled and only found a reference on a fan fiction wiki, while a canon wiki did indeed mentioned nothing post-books except that it’s assumed she survived the Battle of Hogwarts and never married.

As much as I dislike Cursed Child, it does point to certain things that could rule out Scorpius as a dark wizard. He's good friends with Albus, and he's more compassionate than Draco or his grandparents. I think you're right about Carmen Zabini. She's the most likely to be a dark witch.
I think the wizarding world could enter in a statue of secrecy's crisis, where enforcing it has become too much of a burden, and there's a long and complicated discussion on demounting it. With conflicting parts in favor and against for a variety of reasons. And at least 2 possible points of rupture:
- 1 Wizards having to rely on muggle's industry for certain ultra-precision pieces for magical objects, which is an evident source of security breaches and entry points for espionage.
- 2 Rouge wizards doing ilegal businesses with muggles, specially private military operations, which might end up calling too much attention.
Just imagine Hermione dealing with such a crisis and the threat of a total out war between muggles and wizards.
If there was a war between muggles and wizards, there would be very little chance long term for the wizards. They may have the upper hand at the very start, with the impirius curse etc, but once Muggles worked out magic’s limitations, and I’m sure they would, their superior numbers would eventually overwhelm the wizards.

It’s a bit hard to say, given that what we’ve seen of their society has mostly been limited to their British and American counterparts (with the latter being shown during a century ago).
Yea, in Hogwarts legacy there is really minimal difference between then and when the books take place, which is 100 years apart. So I really doubt there would be any change at all in the time since the books took place

Access to magic limits cultivation of non-magical methods, such as technology, martial arts, ect. They simply cannot understand a cultivation without magic at the center. Magic cultivation is far slower than technological.
Here’s an idea. The self flying brooms incorporate thestral hairs to give them the ability to navigate.
And of course, they’d include an anti-burglar buzzer. 😉

You could speculate a future in which the magical and muggle worlds reunite. Maybe in 200 years when muggle technology makes it very hard for wizards to remain hidden. And the muggles would be advanced enough that they no longer see magic as a threat.
200 years is a stretch. Any magic being done outside of hidden magical areas is at risk of being on tiktok within minutes. Everyone is carrying a high-definition video camera in their pockets these days.
Love it! I bet magic would slowly creep into muggle society in certain ways, like with there being more people with a muggle parent wizards would want to keep them safe or even just help them improve their lives so maybe they would start giving muggle parent emergency magical objects, or objects to help travel in special situations like parent day type stuff. Even things like golems that could replace elves that could look like people so muggle parents can have house keepers that wouldn't stand out like floating mops or an elf.
Also things that resemble magical devices in modern muggle society like digital picture frames that have moving video images & slideshows might make wizarding society wonder if perhaps some among them were secretly working with muggles to inspire the creation of these seemingly "magical" devices that can be used by muggles 😊

WVR to me sounds like an enhanced dencarium. Instead of dropping in a memory, you drop in the scene you want to see. It also seems to me that they could bring back the Triwizard Tournament through WVR. They could make their tests as hard as they want without the risk of actually killing the participating students.
There is also a concept art out there of a modern broomstick. It’s shaft is actually made of aluminum and it had a display at the top of the staff that displays stuff like speed, weather predictions and the angle of tilt. Kind of like a drivers display in a car but at slim enough for a broomstick shaft and instead a tad bit longer. It’s called the Nimbus 2022, a rather interesting take on a modern broomstick on Yanko Design.
I really wish we could one day get a book and of course film/show from that covering the wizarding world either in somewhere like the US, or back with Harry Potter and the characters we already know just to actually see and hear exactly what life is like for Harry and the others these almost 30 years laters.

The books should be at least 15 to 16 chapters long, in no particular order of course, explaining the story of every surviving characters after the deathly hallows. Also how they overcome the challenges after the second wizarding war. How the modern wizarding world would have been looking like today. I really want to know not only life of our golden trio and every other characters, but also economic political social and cultural conditions of the wizarding world in general. And also last but not the least, a quick glimpse of the new generation.
I mean at least we all deserve to know that much. Come on JKR.

! In the world of Harry Potter, a wheelchair would be quite special. It would have magical enhancements to make it more comfortable and useful.
Firstly, it would be self-propelling. This means it could move on its own without needing to be pushed, using magic. It could follow the user's commands or even be controlled with a wand.
The design would be elegant, probably made of polished wood and enchanted metal, giving it a traditional wizarding look. It might have cushioning charms on the seat for extra comfort.
Additionally, it might have features like the ability to climb stairs or glide over rough terrain smoothly. It could also have a Disillusionment Charm to become invisible when needed, or a charm to make it shrink down for easy storage.
In short, a magical wheelchair in Harry Potter's world would combine traditional design with useful spells to make it more functional and comfortable for the user.
So basically an enhanced power wheelchair (which I use already) that wouldn’t need to be charged every so often (no batteries needed). That would be nice if I could use my chair without remembering to charge the batteries once a week lol
I would wager that the Wizarding World wouldn't change much, as it is very insular and resistant to change. An odd addition (like the Hogwarts Express) might be implemented, but overall there wouldn't be much difference.
I think new generations of Wizards with connection to the Muggle world, who no longer have a reason to be ashamed of this, will certainly have inspiration from there. I can easily imagine a magical mirror that can connect to the Muggle lines of communication (phone lines or the internet), mental healthcare combining psychology and magic, or microbiology fused with advanced potions. Not to mention a magical person who uses their powers to gain success among Muggles (like a next-gen David Copperfield for example). Although I think magical people among Muggles will also make successful criminals. When that appears, one Auror will certainly be installed in the Muggle police forces at a high rank as a contact person for the Auror Department.
You know what, the last thing we want to hear that wizarding world has somehow developed nuclear weapon. Lol 😂😂
Honestly, I think that some system of Apparition Highway would make a lot more sense in terms of efficiency than self-flying brooms.

It's plausible-wizards have been using animated statues and constructs without the electronics.
Wizards can make lightning, which means that they can make electricity, and powering a device with magical electricity is just a matter of making sure the voltages and amperage are correct.

Umm, the first three things you said already existed for wizards, floo powder gets them anywhere there is a fireplace. They have enchanted many things to be able to communicate over distance and self driving brooms is technically already a thing, when Harry says accio Firebolt it Flys to him with Noone flying it lol.
Isn’t the pensieve already a version of wizarding VR? Albeit it’s limited to stored memories, but I think it’s a better example than the limbo Harry meets Dumbledore in before he resurrects in book 7
Well in chamber of secrets WVR was kind of used for the flashback with Tom riddles’ dairy . So getting sucked into a book or crystal for educational or training purposes sounds plausible.

Random thought. I just figured out why the pedals were on the brooms in the movie.
First imagine that you are on a broom without the pedals. Now imagine that you’ve leaned too far to either side. Now you are falling off of your broomstick because there was nothing for you to push against in order for you to right yourself, as there would have been if you were riding a bike or a motorcycle. Thus the pedals are there to enable you, the wizard, to keep yourself upright and balanced on it. If you weren’t as magical, you wouldn’t have to use the magic that you weren’t as good at in order to right yourself. If you were more magical, you could simply cast a self-righting spell and rely upon the pedals as a back-up plan. In this way, I do see the pedals in the Harry Potter movies as being very beneficial to anyone flying a broom.

I wouldn’t say wizards tend to do things more efficiently than regular humans. They’re traditional more than anything, broomsticks being a prime example. A lot of our current electronics are very effective, like FaceTime and the Internet. And a lot of ideas have been taken from our technology, such as magical umbrellas, trains and even some of the great ideas in this video such as WVR.

suprised not albus was mentioned, he was mentioned to have some resentment towards his father and he did end up in slytherin so i think he might be a potential one, there is also the bullying from his older brother jemes and some of the things ron was seying in the time skip at the end of last book.

Wow what a coincidence! I just finished watching all of your timeline videos including what happened to all the 100 Harry Potter characters after the deathly hallows to, a new beginning. What happened to the wizarding World after the defeat of voldemort and what happened to wizarding world, entire timeline explain from 1998 to 2023. Thank you so much because of your video I got to know and finally I got the desiring final conclusion to sum of my favourite HP characters and wizarding world in general.

I thought JK Rowling said Pansy Parkinson ended up never married (which doesn’t necessarily mean no children), but still thought it was weird I never heard of Carmen Zabini. I googled and only found a reference on a fan fiction wiki, while a canon wiki did indeed mentioned nothing post-books except that it’s assumed she survived the Battle of Hogwarts and never married.

It strikes me as quite obvious that this entity was, in fact, actually a higher level AGI, which Thomas Riddle created to serve as a personal assistant, and simply programmed and trained this AGI with his own memories personality and general thoughts and attitudes, programming this AGI to think and act like him, and ultimately Tom Riddle wound up programming his AGI personal assistant to think it was him. Its failure to recognize its true nature as a synthetic AGI personal assistant turned Horcrux, likely indicating that it was level 3 Adaptive Learning AGI, which lacked the full self awareness of a Level 4 Self Aware AGI. As modern Muggle born witches and wizards are fully aware of such Muggle AI start-ups as Open AI and X AI, any chance learning of Tom Riddle's diary would likely serve as confirmation that the wizard world can have it's own forms of AGI. It seems to me that as muggle technology improves, the middle born magical people would more and more want both magic and technology. This would create greater incentives to figure out a way to integrate magic and technology. Eventually someone would figure it out.

I would love to play a Battle Of Hogwarts VR in real life if there was sounds so cool. Magical healing can adopt Muggle stitches as proven effective in the 5th book. Are you sure Pius was dead at the end of the battle? Wasn't he captured and freed from the Impirius curse? Although my theory says he secretly agreed with Tom's way and that's why he eventually allowed Yaxley to control him. Regardless of his true allegiance I don't remember him being dead.
