thanks for this video. It’s helped already in using this device. Question: Is it typical for the device to go off around the front bumper of a car perhaps where the sensors are? Or anything else around the car that might make it go off while the car is actually off? If not, I think my car is bugged. Thanks!
Great gadget, and great video as usual! Watching you use it, made it clear to me that another device would be beneficial to someone who suspects they might be, being remotely watched or listened to. That is, some type of broad sweep detector. This device looks great for detecting the precise "location" of a transmitter, but it didn't appear to have the capability to readily indicate that there is a transmitter present nearby in the first place. Or am I wrong about that, and maybe there's a way to achieve this through settings? If not, perhaps you could find such a device to review... 👍
No, you need to sweep over the target "Suspected" areas using the highest stable sensitivity setting, then lower the sensitivity to pinpoint the exact location. You can't just walk into a room and get a signal, unless the transmitter power is high. Thanks for watching! Glad you liked the video.
This is a great countersurveillance video. However, as a former CI Agent, I know a few counter-countersurveillance tips to defeat these devices and make sure the GPS tracker is not found.

I bought this device I'm still 50/50 if the RF scanner works, I know that the magnet detector 100% does not work on my semi truck. And I tuned it exactly the way this video explains if I touch a bolt or certain parts of the frame it goes berserk I check all around there's nothing there. I have a magnet key holder I did remove it before the test I decided to place it back it beeped on the magnet key holder spot but it also beeped at the same spot when I had removed it. The RF mode is questionable it picks up my cell phone for sure, I tuned it the way the booklet says and the way this video said. I live more in the country desert area not many houses here I did a slow roll to trigger any sleeping GPS systems on board and I'm getting nothing but it's impossible this is a large investment they have to have a GPS tracker on this vehicle. I did have my cell phone turned off and all radios and Bluetooth. I found a discrepancy in my building and the company refused to fix it so I'm taking them to district court and by federal law I don't have to make any payments into the Court decides if it's accurate or not they threaten to repo my vehicle. And refuse to give me the information I asked for to prove the debt was correct. If there is a Tracker and this RF scanner doesn't find it it's going to cost me more than what the tracker cost losing my investment within this vehicle.
I sure hope you only used a VERY thin film of vegetable oil, otherwise they'll spin on the rim. The good thing about vegetable oil, it doesn't remain oily, it becomes sticky/tacky after being exposed to the air.

You need to specify your mobile phone carrier because some use the EASILY detectable GSM protocol whereas other's use the nearly impossible to detect CDMA protocol The difference is: a CDMA phone uses U.S. Military Digital Spread Spectrum technology and are far more secure and are NOT able to be detected with a standard "bug detector" Although, good video demonstration 👍
Hi Bob. I'm fairly certain I tested the unit using a Verizon phone in the past, which uses CDMA. If a RF signal is being transmitted, It should be detected. Thanks for watching!
@@barjrob I recently saw a video for a Toyota where the spare tire sensor was setting off the low pressure warning in the dash, which is good if you think about it. But I think that means that not all tire pressure senors need rotation to activate.
Yes, it would detect. The good thing is, when the car isn't moving(parked), they don't transmit unless there's a big change in tire pressure detected. When you move they only transmit a pulse every minute or 2. You can always remove all 4 tires form the vehicle, then sweep over the car. 🤣 Thanks for watching!

Actually, the GPS tracker shown in this video can be detected 5 inches away, when the test device is set properly. The device is a tool to ASSIST in locating hidden GPS & other wireless transmitters.
