I am getting more and more hooked on Regency fashion.
I love your dress!
Yay! Thank you!
I also think of ghostbusters whenever I've come close to crossing my gathering stitches!
Lovely gown!
Great video. Love your sense of humour. Looking forward to the alligator friend.
Thank you for watching! I'm looking forward to my alligator friend, too--I hope I can pull it off, lol!
"cough cough bridgerton" that was so funny!!
Thank you for watching!!
Not at all!! Your content is great! Keep at it!!
I enjoyed this video and the jaws themed teeth section especially. Lol not currently on any sewing project: it’s 12:29AM and I’m still constructing a Table Tennis Table for my dad’s birthday... which is now technically today 😅😅😅
I love how the toothy trim turned out, and I can't wait for more installments! I worked on handsewing my neverending 18th c. shift while I watched, but I'm dreaming of regency print cotton gown myself!
Awww, thank you, Eleanor! And I know your shift will be glorious, I need to make a new one!

I loved this video! Usually I fast forward through sewing videos to see the end result, but I actually watched this video through because I found the process fascinating. I also love your silly add ins from Ghostbusters and Stranger Things.
Wonderful work!! I have similar sewing methods and philosophy (stitching and pressing order, for instance) . Def saves me time as 40 ft separates my machine from the ironing board, although I might stay a bit more fit if I changed up the order! 😁
40 feet, oh my gosh! I would get in a lot of steps, lol!
This gown is so fun and fanciful!! I love the interpretation of the alligator teeth. I just finished taking apart a thrift store find from the bedding section - a dust ruffle that had 100% linen all the way around the regular flat sheet section. I'm thinking the linen pieces will be perfect for stays mockups!
Awww, thank you, Sarah!!! Oh, my, LINEN from a thrift store, I love it! Green shopping!
Love this! I have been saving some peach print voile and some solid to try to make a Regency gown, but have no place to wear it right now, so am working on a mauve velveteen outfit for Living History at our museum where I volunteer. I have gained weight this last year, so have set it aside for now, but will get back to it soon.
Oooooh, peach print voile sounds lovely!! I've gained weight, too, so I'm trying to stick to highly adjustable gowns. I love that you volunteer at a museum!
You crack me up! That demigorgon! Great project, it’s a beautiful dress.
Thank you so much! :D
This is my favorite regency pattern too! Its so easy to adjust when you gain and loose a lot of weight like me. Loved your video and the dress!
Thank you so much! And, yes, I adore bib front gowns for that reason!
Great sense of humour (well same as me, so I like it!) Lovely dress and so fun. Cannot wait to see the alligator.
Thank you for watching!
You were right the first time I too watched the baby yoda series.
This is beyond adorable and creative!!! I am so glad I found your channel. Must go and look at past videos now.
Thank you so much!!
That is so gorgeous! You're making me want to make a regency dress like that!
Awwww! Thank you! And you should!
I just discovered you! This was very nice to watch, and makes me want to get more into regency! The pink with the tooth trim looks absolutely to die for! Lastly, I am curious, pardon if you said in the video, but where did you get your bonnet from? It’s shape is lovely. Anyways, well done!
Thank you! I got the plain bonnet from timelytresses.com and made the ribbon poppy last summer! :)
Today I found out what the word "Janeite" means🙃🙃🙃 In fact, I am myself a Janeite
