Ah, getting to all the good stuff now recently 😊👍 Don't get me wrong, each and every one of their songs is wonderful, but these last three ones are some of my favourites. I like how this one was presented like a movie, it was the first video directed by Finnish indie film maker Mika Hakala. The band was so pleased with the result that they've hired him to do all of their music videos since. Once again you impressed me with your observation that Marko wasn't in the opening shot, and your conclusion that therefore something darker was going to happen. Another powerful and stunningly beautiful "floodgate song" of theirs is "Beyond The Horizon" from their newest album "Ghostlight" (no official video, I recommend the lyric version). For something a little lighter in between you might want to check out the Alexander Theatre version of Children of the Sun (same album), the Radio Nova Stage cover version of Adele's Rolling In The Deep, Given And Denied (the live one from the Moscow 2013 DVD clips), or if you're looking for more rock and uptempo ones: Maybe Tomorrow Is A Better Day, Sorry Go Round, All The Way 4 You (all from Carnival of Rust). Also Rebirth (Alexander Theatre version) from Jealous Gods album ... and Sea Of Night by Old Gods of Asgard ... we're now slowly moving in the direction of Poets songs without official videos, of which there are plenty yet to check out and enjoy 😊
Have to explore better this album "Clearview" is one of the ones from Poets of the Fall I know the least of apart from this song, and Drama for life and Children of the sun(which by the way is a really good song as well) didn't associated it before but the way the memory of what happened is shown and unveils in the video and its correlation with the song as well as the color palette chosen, made me remember of the video for the song Memories from Within Temptation. apart from that though the videos go in a slightly different direction, this has a more punch in the gut POTF style at the end The one from Within Temptation is more in the rememberance side.

The whole show is on YT in 4K quality, nicely edited even though it is a fan-made one. Indeed, but I tend to believe that people who has this range in the material they produce use it also as an outlet to vocalise and neutralise things they have on their minds. But I’m no psychologist so I can’t base that on anything 🙈😅😅
