      Same, the philosophy behind osteopaths seems so more in congruence with how I feel about becoming a physician

    This very interesting but what is the level qualification and conditions required for admission?

    • @flowismedicine
      @flowismedicine 3 місяці тому

      In the US, requirements for DO school are the same as those for MD school (basic sciences & good MCAT scores).
      Admission requirements for non-physician osteopathic training (offered in Canada and Europe) are lesser, and this routes actually provides more hours of teaching in hands-on skills.

    It does matter. We are spiritually born dead in Sin! This world is broken because of Sin. We have a spirit soul and body. God sent His Son Jesus into the world to fix the Sin problem. God was in Christ reconciling the world back to Himself.Christ died to take upon Himself the sins of each person. Christ was buried and on the 3rd day God resurrected Jesus up to prove He took away all our Sins. He did not redeem the body. We will get a new Resurrected body one day. We have a Sin nature that’s why we do sinful things. We have to be born from above. The Sin nature can’t be fixed. We need a new nature. The Earth,animals nature all have been impacted by Sin. One day Christ will make a New Heaven and Earth. The wages of Sin is Death. Jesus said he or she who believes in Me will never die. He came to bring Eternal life. Christ the Creator is the Great Physician! He made the man and woman after His image. Sin has separated all of us from a Holy God. That’s what’s wrong. We have broken God’s Law. Life only comes from Christ! You have to go to Him to get it. This is not a Religion but a relationship with the Father,Son and Holy Spirit. See John 17:3.

      Actually, you'll find osteopaths worldwide. What's unique about it in the US is that osteopathy is a branch of medicine and DOs work as physicians.

    • @TickleMeElmo55
      @TickleMeElmo55 2 роки тому +10

      Are you a physician or have any knowledge of the DO medical degree? I don't believe so.
      Funny enough this quackery is producing competent physicians across every medical specialty in the States.
      And maybe the rest of the world should look to the US when it comes to DO/MD topic, with the US being seen as a place for pioneering new ways of thinking to achieve a particular goal.

    Personally, I wouldn't mind using a DO for physical med & rehab, but for more serious stuff I would definitely default to a MD. I am skeptical of the roots of osteopathy and its questionable foundation for scientific medicine

      Why? DO physicians go through the same coursework, as a matter of fact they take extra hours? They are trained to be analytical and would not hesitate to take the allopathic approach.

    “Everybody in this room is infected”. Infected with what ahaa. that line alone had mr in tears, that’s the last thing youd want to hear. I bet eyes were turning 😂 all jokes aside that body, mind and spirit method is something that alot of people don’t understand or are in-tuned with. Especially some dr. These days don’t care enough to be on that level with patients. I strive to change that to the best of my abilities.
