In case someone is wondering, the vault is undergoing reorganization and they are adding new shelves. To the right of Rex off camera are new shelves that almost goes to the ceiling. I shared a photo and video in the Facebook group last week.

One of my favorite finishes... Far preferred to my Isaac Bowman port cask finish. If you've got that, what do you think?

I got two Doc Swinson's Alter Ego last year. It was easily my favorite of all the bourbons I got. I named it my bourbon of the year. It was extremely delicious. I killed the first bottle really quick and now I am down to the last bottle and just rationing my last bottle.

“What’s a good MGP sourced bourbon”? Noticed that right off the bat bc I happen to be on a good bottle of Penelope at the moment. They’ve got many great options, worth a check particularly the cask strengths👍

Could compare this to Joseph Magnus. I don’t recall the casking but it is similarly complex. I do recall the age is higher. But it is something to compare

Amazing you guys enjoying every one of yours videos. I coud not find any of Moosburn in your hostory, mine first whiskey more than 25€ was Mossburn Vintage Casks North British 15. It was a long jump forward but, until now, although i tried some of similars it is still my number one. I woud wish to hear your opinion about it . Cheers.

when it comes to sourced whisky I do prefer the stuff sourced from Kentucky. Like for instance Heavens Door
I wonder what a single malt that was finished in an old fashioned brewed root beer cask would be like .
I know this is unrelated to this video but I'm in a bit of a pickle. I disliked Jameson but have been interested in the thought of trying either Red Breast or Green Spot. Do you think I should try them or stay clear due to my dislike of Jameson? Not that it probably helps, but I'm a huge bourbon drinker and have the odd scotch here and there and thoroughly enjoy both with bourbon being my go to.
Do you guys turn your bottles once a month to wet the corks?

I like how you guys still accidentally say the wrong things like 'Johnny Walker Green is the whisky drinker's Johnny Walker'.
I say sh*t like that all the time by accident even though, I mean nothing by it. But it does show I probably deep down expect most serious Scotch drinker's to be similar to me, by preferring single malts as a way to journey through whisky. Even though there's nothing wrong with blends, I'm 100% behind rule no.1 and I have a deep appreciation for a lot of blended malts which nowadays are often flat out brilliant.

A proposed solution to the Johnny Walker problem: Rename Johnny Black "New JW" and Johnny Green "Classic JW."
JW actually has a "Double Black", too. (At least in Europe)
