Thank you for the tip on how to remove the door handle assembly and the recommendation on picking up a magnetic nut driver. That made the job go so much easier! I wasn't looking forward to trying to mess with that cable.
Super helpful...every other video I've seen has you disconnecting that cable from the door mechanism and fidgeting with those tabs. I was worried about that part lol.
most people will break the cable eyelet which is why i avoid showing that in this video you simply do not need to remove that for servicing the inside door.
Dealerships always stress me out! Like you I’ll work on my own car for stuff like this. Good video on panel removal. Love the tools and techniques shown! Thanks for sharing.
👍 just awesome... thx for sharing all this knowledge, I’ve had almost all my interior out to do your audio upgrade and Alcantara....and now I know how to get inside the doors!
Another great video! Thanks for the info too. Door panel removal/installation instructions are priceless for guys that tinker with their cars. I can not tell you how many times I have struggled with understanding the designs of my various door panels! Great stuff! (Sweet CF dash panel. Is that for sale somewhere?)
Great video. I have a 2019 GT, I bought a couple door puddle lamps which I have to install. Great info. Any suggestions on where I can find the power that I can connect to?
Behind the passenger kick panel there is a wiring harness just tap power wire into the gray with purple stripe wire, that one operates with all the remote and dome/door lights then ground wire goes to the bolt on the body there. and you have to run both wires to the mirrors the drivers side all the way over from that location unless you already have the 401A package that has the mustang puddle lights.
good video, i bought some dynomat to play around with so this was perfect. Love the tip about the removing the door pull, every other video recommended pliers and honestly was nervous about it.
car is too loud with its sound floor spending money on aftermarket Hifi is a waste on such a loud car i have been doing hifi for over 30 years and learned that the hard way on many cars i built for myself over the years, awesome sound up until you fire up the engine.
Based on your experience with removing that door and seeing the space behind it, do you think there iis a spot back there to hide a crossover box for a 3 way components speaker setup? Also gorgeous car and great video !
I wish I knew about the magnetic nut driver when I replaced the mirror on the Focus. The nut fell into the door. It was a pain to get out. Checkout the video on my channel and see what I am talking about.

these cars are so loud its not worth going nuts with the stereo i learned that so many times the hard way on cars I built once the engine is roaring you can spend 20k in audio gear and hear nothing but headers and exhaust. the BO system sounds really go as it is for the car.
any tips for installing aftermarket door puddle lights? what wiring to tap into so they only come on when the door is open?

LOL - Try dealing with teenagers.
Great video as always. I have the B&O on my 2019 EcoBoost convertible and love it. Hope I don’t blow a speaker!!!
Professionally put together
I always enjoys watching your channel.

Fantastic video thanks for making this.
Glad you enjoyed it!
AWESOME!! Why not do an upgrade speaker at the same time? what brand would you put, Focal or JBL?

Does anyone know how to access the side mirror one you get the door panel off?
Door panel must come off and you unclip the pod from the door panel
@@autofanaticcars thanks!
As usual, you do such thorough well defined videos. I'm confused, though, so speakers don't have connecting wires to them?
they have plugs now on cars so its a much easier in and out swap, aftermarket stuff you still need to solder terminals and wires.

yes you can mount a crossover on the inside of the door easily just solder the connections and cover it as water does get in the doors
@@autofanaticcars awesome thank you so much for the information 🤩
Anyone got a link to buy the speaker at the bottom of the door? I have the shaker upgrade
my advice is call the dealer and give your VIN# because they system lists quite a few speakers and you want to make sure you get the correct one
Great video.Thank you.
Glad you liked it!
Great stuff, like that grypmat, will get that for sure. 👍
thank you for the video! :)

yeah when screws drop its a PITA these magnetic nut drivers are the ticket consider getting some.
Why not replace them with higher quality aftermarket speakers?

Doing this scares me so much. So much taking apart, I worry about breaking fasteners and having loose panels.
it is easy and its a Mustang parts and clips are cheap
That color is kill!
its so hot i love it
What happened to the ALFA GIULIA content? We need a new video
head over to my IG feed im now testing EBC Yellow brakes and will have a video up next week with a drive POV
As an audiophile, I find it funny that a replacement speaker is $35, but a replacement front splitter is $1,500. Seems backwards.
yeah i was shocked at price myself
That's because OEM audio systems are terrible. Especially the drivers.
Why upgrade these low quality crap factory speakers to be ones? That’s what I did and sounds much much better.
