I also have a 2015 mustang gt and wanted to upgrade the speakers but afraid of panels and trim not going in back in perfect fit or flush. Same thing with amps.
How are you supposed to run the wire from the harness adapter into the door without leaving a gap/leak? The factory speaker connected on the OUTSIDE of the speaker baffle, while aftermarket speakers connect on the INSIDE of the door.

The big bottom ones are 6.5 bass speakers. I tried replacing the ones on my 2015 Ecoboost premium and didn't find it to be worth it. I'm looking into replacing the 3.5 speakers as I think that is what will make the audio sound better.

Ford brags about the "shaker" sound system. Mine sound like trash. It's worst I've ever heard in any car. .
@@mikeg6958it’s factory ford radios, once you replace them it truly wakes up the sound.
