Yes, that's right. It means you should destroy and rebuild it (to get the stats that work best for your class) ASAP. It takes around 45 minutes on average. There exists a number of guides to help you out on how to reroll.

one of the quests in diamond shores gives you a pot that when you pop it, gives you like 10k honor. That and in every zone there are multi level quests that give you honor for killing like 50 of any mobs in the area. I think that is the one.

There are Hiram Daily Quests in Diamond Shores, Exeloch, Sungold Fields, West Hiram Mountains, and East Hiram Mountains that gives you infusions and scrolls. You have to be level 50 at the least, and level 55 at the most to accept these. On top of that there are the daily raids for Grimghast Rift, Crimson Rift, which also give honor. Then there's the instances at 4k gearscore. They are Halcyona War, and Fall of Hiram. These both give honor and infusions.
I'm not the OP but I'm doing this now. I don't shy away from PvP but it's not my main goal (47 atm). You can wait but you'll be waiting a while in some areas. I haven't been to Aegis yet but I've been questing to get levels primarily. If you want consistency you'll need to learn how yo grind during war times. At least that's where I am right now.

@@darkwaterentertianme Made it to 50 this weekend...primarily questing. Yeah, it can get rough. Reds have no mercy. I got mobbed by 3 level 30s while completing a Protect quest. Quite the headache. But here's a note: if you have a farm, you can level fast with that. You use the farm to make tax certs and that process gives you EXP -- you'll just burn through labor.
you actually need to be able to solo aegis island before moving up to western hiram. At ancestral 8 I was able to get 8k xp for solo and for the western hiram monsters, it only gives 4-6k :)

Keep getting pked. I know there is a peacetime when you are safe but when I log on its either at tension or war. So I get pked a lot even if I mind my own business. I wish they had a passive mode where you can’t attack others and others can’t attack you. This will help new players and keep them from being lvl capped at 30 cause they can’t proceed with quest.
Trion has completely new owners and staff. Only the name has stayed the same. Just a heads up, as you're not punishing the same people anymore. I've gave these a completely clean slate unless they rub me the wrong way.

Pohx yeah I logged in today and identified a piece of gear and noticed it took 40 labor. It def doesn’t cost labor for all gear but 40 labor for 2k xp ain’t that bad especially if you’re not using labor for anything else.

Archeage isn't old by MMO standards in any shape or form lol. Even going back to very very old MMOs, a lot of them are still quite populated. Whether that be WoW, Runescape, Everquest, EVE, Lineage 2, Ultima, Maplestory, etc.

Terrible advice telling people not to identify gear, you want to max your larceny asap to reduce labor costs of identifying things later when you need every bit of labor you have. Plus you can convert all the salvaged items to the higher tier archeum crystals that people will want more.
@@PohxKappa You can hit novice larceny before even hitting 50 if you identify all the gear on the way, you're literally saying slow down your progress for no reason at all. You won't really be running dungeons pre ancestral unless you want to significantly slow your progress. I was selling the Archeum essences for 30-50g each just from conversions of the gear I salvaged.

For Aegis grinding i found that the big dinos to the left of the middle of the map give pretty good exp like 2k a piece and spawn pretty rapidly.

Thats why they need to add a passive mode, where you cant attack or be attack. Of course, they can disable passive at aegis to make it a warzone.

completely disagree, just open coin purses or run dungeons to break down the gear without spending labor to ID them
