u should add that a lot of morons spamed with houses and lost a lot of labour and taxes for simply reserving the spot. u can only have 3 spots, after that you will be penalised with overtaxes, and u can only generate taxes from your own labour so...ya. pick a good spot in a peacefull zone , settle it and dont be greedy to place if you dont plan to actually use it. you will pay for it and if your not geting back what your paying your wasting time, labour and so on.

Allright so i am trying to understand this i got a land from mahadevi that i thought i can grow banana trees and make Mahadevi Fine Specialty Packs but i need 180 bananas for 1 pack which is worth for 16gold if i sell on the auction house but if i sell it to solis or vilanelle the pack only makes 10gold only in ynestere it makes 17 gold according to spreadsheet you put in the description from that i don't really understand what i am doing wrong is mahadevi really bad for making trade packs ?
Very helpful guide. Like for you. I just started to play Archeage yesterday and got overwhelmed. So I watched your video and other video. I learned from it and my guildmate did help me aince I dont have house yet they let me use their land so I can do my farm.
I just would look for a nice green area, not interesting in commerce since 3.0 lol (we know why...) Solzreed was one of my fav's but I really don't want to be stressful with the land rush there xD....Love how mahadevi, silent forest, hasla and perinoor ruins looks. all of them from east lol. Rockala and ahimar don't look bad neither.
I went with Arcum Iris because it close to very good spot to collect stones (I like mining in games), its close to good location of wild cactus and its arid so I was gonna to farm cactus. Welp, it was a huge mistake. Before land rush cactus was 2g/each, day after its 20 silver each. Price of stone and iron is dropping as well. Good thing there was still a lot of free space in other zones (not the best ones, but still good enough) so I could change my place to Mahadevi :)

I really wish we had a more detailled guide about picking a zone. AA calculator doesnt match the info on those links. When I quit, gweonid larder trades were the best to sanddeep. Now, not sure.
Don't you get more base gold for the preserve packs though? So the multiplier isn't the same values? or are all packs worth the exact same and all that matters is freshness?
you get more yes, if you look at the spreadsheet in the description you can even see the exact amount you get, that being said for the time you waste on those packs its simply not as good,you can easily turn in 2x as many packs or even more depending where you are. However if consider that you have a ton of time, say you dont work nor are in school, it would still be better to make two accounts and turn in packs from luxury zones, or cargo packs.
Parsnip Games well my is that stocking up on aged packs is still decent and more gold per trip. Because the timer won’t start until the aged goods are done or turned into packs. So best case scenario. Per pack and per labour aged packs will get you more gold. And worst case scenario aged packs will still be more gold.

I personaly like Hasla since yes it takes me a bit more time to take the packs from A to B but my labor is thankful for that where I can max the profit of the packs I can make too, and with my limited time I like the plan, also perserved packs dont make you feel like you are in a race :D
I hope they delay the release of the land untill the servers go back to normal because it will leave a negative picture of the game of people that cant play it properly. Best zone to live in though should always be Villanelle in my books.
As a new player can someone explain me the pros and cons of getting land on the islands that are scattered in the Arcadian Sea as well as Between the continents? Also if we cant hoard packs at our property anymore (because of freshness factor), is there any advantage of getting a property in an area where you are running your trade routes from? Sorry for being a newbie.
In my experience, those islands are very pretty and cool to own. But only once you own it do you realise just how inconvenient it it. It costs 3 hereafter stones to travel to from anywhere and there is very little in the way of convenience. Its honestly just not worth it unless you want to roleplay or use it as a staging are for cross continent pack runs.

you do not however, there's a lot to consider like what you can make, convenience, climate but most importantly the larders that are generated on your land.

Theres a possibility land claim will be delayed till the 26th atm no guarantee though. That said land will all be claimed, the servers a crazy crowded atm and it will go fast.

No where. Cause anyone will be lucky to even get onto the game to claim land. The game state is such a joke right now. They need to re-launch the game again at this point to fix the bugs and remove the millions of bugged gold from the Archpass bug. also to just add more servers and spread people out. No one wants to sit in a 1+hour queue to get in the game and crash and repeat the queue.
@@parsnipgames1384 I wish you would've focused on the secret locations on many maps. There is literally no videos out there about those, such as extra housing areas that are not marked on map. I wish you would've focused an entire bit on the island housing zones as most just will say they are used solely for Kraken and PvP, but I know many who also farm there so I was curios about the climates they have. Also you didn't mention the zones past Diamond Shores that have 2 housing areas and you didn't make any mention about castle housing either. The editing in your video is 10/10 though. I love how you use footage from the locations you talk about and from a good first person perspective. Your mic is not good though, but I think that's an easy fix. I like the video a lot though.
One more thing: You can claim land in like 2 god forgotten zones, because all spots are taken elsewhere :)

ok yeah there are issues...it's really not as bad as u make it out to sound. I've been playing for 2 days just fine without a single bug on Runert.
