- Howdy guys and gals, in this vid i ended up in the woods helping out with some wrenching and hauling. Trying to help keep Murphy at bay and getting serious about these stave logs we getting. We get white oak barrels for Scottish wiskey that have been used for Burbon before
Then the final thing for the old barrels is bering used for fire wood

Have you ever considered milling up and stockpiling a few of the finer wood slabs, and marketing them to individual woodworkers that make tables and desks? With the YT marketing capabilities, this might add extra revenue to Logger Wade Enterprises. Love your videos!

❤❤😂😂😂 Tou know?? Their is just something about being in the woods that just plum chills a man out a relaxes ya a the STRESS just disappears…🤷🏻♂️ Hell some days after a white hair pulling day? I sometimes just drive to the woods “JUST” to walk around a look a talk to (myself) an admirer the trees a figure when it will be a cutter log. It does a man good to relax an get back grounded. Makes going back to regular work better coz we are feeling like a new man !!!😂😂😂😂❤❤

Has anyone tried a wired endura HD camera (maybe on a fiberglass pole) extended 6 feet above the knuckleboom cab to give a higher view when placing logs on the further side of the log truck? What some logging crews do is have a reliable? mechanic (with an assistant) come through in the evening (may not be every day), when the gear is parked to check over and maintain the equipment.
Sad to hear about the state of hickory. We have hickory kitchen cabinets and they are lovely. Wood is so much nicer than white plasticky crap
Last week a local logger quoted .90 for Hickory delivered.

I would think so , I think that staves have to be knot free and strait .
I would say it depends on the area and the buyer I've seen people buy em with knots and small diameter long as they were straight and sound paid good for em

cat just makes the track loader for logging now cat sold off everything else logging to wailer so now cat just about done with logging better to just go with john deere and tigercat
