I made this flatbread just two hours ago today, and it is amazingly so good. I added 1/4 tsp. cane sugar to balance the rest of the ingredients. I also used my tortilla press and made it so easy to shape this flatbread. I cooked the flatbread on my cast iron pan. I ate all four flatbreads with hummus and avocado, with peanut butter and one just plain. I'm very grateful to find this recipe, it is so healthy and taste great! I made these today substituting Okara for the almond flour and omitting the oil. They are great. I am vegan and gluten-free but not keto - and I’m watching my calorie and fat intake. According to Cronometer they are only 20 cal each. Truly heavenly!

I add it to almost any breads or cakes to give them more "lift" and keep almond flour recipes from being too dense. Plus it dilutes the flours for a lower carb count. Love it for breakfast biscuits/ scones

Thank you for this recipe it turns out great every time. I have taken the liberty of adding some seed to it ,sesame,black cumin,funnel and poppy it makes a great tasting wrap. I tried it for a hamburger bun but it is too soft and takes some effort to hold it but works.

I made this today using lupin flour and used them as tortillas. I did add some corn extract. They were very good! Held up better than regular corn tortillas. I will try the other flour just to compare but I will be making these again. Thank you Heavenly Fan for all you do to make food taste good and for sharing your recipes with us.
Thanks for your videos, I use a fiber flour from Lonjevity foods Uk, it does contain wheat and oats , there are 15g of carbs per 100g but there are 42g of fiber per 100g apparently the fiber cancels out the carbs , it is amazing to bake with , I make bread rolls with it and there are no after tastes that you get with some products , it rises really well with yeast and boy does it fill you up , it makes amazing tortillas. You have probably already tried it , it is quite expensive but I do recommend it. Thanks again.
Are you going to use vital wheat gluten in place of the oat fibre? I have the viral wheat but no oat fibre until Friday. I really don't want to wait until Friday before I try out this recipe...😥

I mixed half almond and lupin and 50 g oat fibre, adding more than 15 TsP hot water (😂), even my boy said it was great considering it is Keto ( they eat a lot of flour bread😅) by the way, I watched all your videos, when are you going to upload new one? Yep season your press, theyre actually made to press your tortillas while they are hot, just like you would season a cast iron pan.

If you have a coffee grinder or a magic bullet you can refine your course ground nut flours in a jiffy.

Cast iron tortilla presses can be used on the stovetop. Don't use plastic to press them. Cooks and presses at the same time.
I wouldn't do that because the whole iron gets hot and then you cant press it. Also you risk having the flatbread stick to the iron. A mess

Great recipe, quick and simple. My dough turned out purple due to fine phsylium powder, so they look like rye bread but still delicious.
