@@toxicheadshot360 I know 1 who scams using the lottery, and knew 2 who were killed there, one being the father of the girl who had skimmed from a pickup 6 months earlier. The father did NOT deserve it. Some do get busted in JA (no convictions in India.)

I love what you do... Up until the point that you meet the mules. You don't ever ask them the pertinent questions and you reveal yourself to the scammers too early.

What a ride we took with my brothers from Trilogy! It was like we'd done this for 10 years together. Coordinating Interceptions from a live stream takes precise and fast moves from all of us. We can finish each other's sentences at this point. We have to listen and trust each other for these to go smoothly. Copious notes with lots of late-night meetings and data mining. On top of all that, as we got to crunch time, Ashton and I both got sick and had to keep on going. I will continue to work with our victim. Thank you Trilogy for all your amazing work.

@@chappygrey3603 You said to the mule that you’re tracking his phone and calls to the scammer, and that you will find out if they still speak or call each other, fyi, what you're doing there is wire tapping, THAT IS ILEGAL, the feds should probably be on you and investigate you as well. You are being just as a law breaker as the mule just with diffrent crime/infraction.

See, I more see it as Darrell wanted to get what he felt was rightfully his since he was screwed in the past by Lamar, that's why he was calm. Once the situation was laid out, it made sense why Darrell did this again.
@@binsoku6 Nah, I think there's more to it than that. Lamar seemed genuinely confused when Darrell first ask him what to do next with the money, like he should have already known, also just a text with the pickup location and no other info? c'mon man, that shit stinks.
EDIT: Just to be clear I think Darrell is still a victim, as he was very willing to present his ID at the start to a stranger, but I think he's more involved/invested than he let on he was, I think he's still hoping for a payday/kickback so he's not out 100% from the scam. In their own eyes, PCH victims aren't poor, they're temporarily embarrassed millionaires. They see it as they are only one opportunity away from their millions.
As a Jamaican this was embarrassing because proud Jamaicans are working so hard to restore our reputation!

Ashton and Art need to have questions prepared, ready, and written down when they confront these people. Tensions rise and chaos ensues and that makes it hard to think of or remember the questions that are very important to get answers to. This is usually your only chance to get the right information needed to take these scammers down. This confrontation was all over the place with everyone talking over each other.
Yeah it’s so unprofessional and most of their videos end in nothing at all. Way too long, repetitive and then they just do nothing about anything….

Unfortunately internationally corruption lack of organisation or poor will or resources in different legal systems can make things more difficult than one would like compared to western standards.

WOW!! Listened to mother on the phone with a PCH scammer just yesterday. She was on the call(s) for 2 hours. I watched vids with her on the refund scam. I wasn't concerned she was going to fall for it. Had not seen this scam before. 25M and the Mercedes. Keep up the good work.
Hello trilogy media. Ive been a computer technicien for a couple of years but most importantly we also fix phones and consoles. Do not let them reset there phones some people are smart to setup a autocleaner on their phones basically when they reset there phones it formats the whole phone everytime its a pretty good way to protect yourself but also à pretty good way to get away with crimes but i love everything you do you guys are a blessing. When I turned 50, I joined AARP. Guess what? I started getting barraged with email, phone and text scams. I rescinded my membership months later and the scams, while not stopped completely, went WAY down.

Within 1 month in my case, trying to get on-line banking, through Norton, which they failed because no on-line banking.

About 3 weeks ago they had about 100K less, so gradually they’re getting there! I think predator vs Trilogy has been a great affiliate & addition to their traditional work. I just subbed to TM+ on their free channel to listen to ‘Dexter’s’ podcast. Worth it.❤

@@adamm1633 I’m in my mid 50s & yes they do swear but they’re far from vile. Certainly Kit does something similar in himself -it’s repetitive to a lot of people (however I disagree). Trilogy _leaves_ their home, work _against_ scammers, travel across the States & to India so I think their work is adapting. A 10 hour exchange is reduced to an hour & so the work is mammoth. We see little of what goes on behind the scenes. Then there’s the predator vs TM videos.

I actually got a call from a scammer in Jamaica a couple of years ago. Reported them to Jamaican police. Not sure what came of it, but it made me feel a better knowing that I reported it.

That is a valid point. But they obviously didn't have time to think because they weren't expecting the mule to be a victim.
They probably didn't want the mule to get involved in scam baiting worried that the scammer may go after him.
Also its easy for us to say what they should and should not do, but its tough to think on the spot.
Side note: In another video where they busted a mule (they had confirmed he was a mule and not a victim), they did ask the mule to go with the scammer's plan and handled it well.

They will go across the country and then act like they don't have a few more hours to wait and find the next address. It makes no sense.
Ashton jumped into the call way to early and I mean waaaaaaaaaaaaaay to early. You all do fantastic work but those moments are very important in exposing the victims level of involvement within the scams too, when you put them on the spot if they're pretending not to know anything and not to be taking a cut the longer they're talking to the person giving them instructions the more time you have to gather intel and for them to slip up, he was barley on the phone with him for 20-30 seconds before you jumped the gun on this one.

I agree but it's tough to nail everything exactly on the fly. I used to be an acct mgr and negotiated big money accounts. I was good but there were definitely times I thought. Damn I wish I had or hadn't said something. But your take is correct. Just saying when you are in the heat of the moment it's tough to be perfect.

Excellent video. Not just the teamwork and confronting the scammer, but the education of how this works is explained so well. I can only hope that Darrell is ready to give up his revenge plot.
I've been called 3x from the Jamaican scam. My wife thinks I 'm nuts because I keep them on the phone for almost an hour. At the end I asked if they can give me the answer to my question, they say yes. I then talk in a Jamaican accent and ask him to send me a pound of Ganja, Man! One asked me to repeat it then hangs up. The other 2 yelled F*** you to me and slammed the phone down.
Publisher clearinghouse scammed my grandmother over and over and over. She always thought she won 10,000 dollars. I remember when i was a kid she was told they would be at her house on super bowl Sunday so she cleaned her house top to bottom and she waited for them. We were watching the tv and when they showed up at someone else's house, i could see the disappointment in her face. That is a memory i will never forget. We kept telling her that she was being scammed and she would say, no im not but this would happen time and time again and she would still keep doing it. She would always send them money every time they would say it. I feel so bad for these people that get scammed not once not twice but over and over again. They always convinced her that it was real. It truly is sad.
This was my favorite money mule confrontation yet! The collab was amazing and now following Modder Paul and loved Chappy! You guys are truly making a huge difference in the world to stop these scammers and predators and save victims around the world! 🙏❤️

I’m also am questioning whether he is completely innocent in all this, I’d rather change my number than to keep dealing with the constant harassment of these scammers, he obviously knows more than what he’s telling the team, and all they were trying to do, is helping victims, in my opinion, why isn’t he grateful for their advice, maybe the team should have told him, he’s never going to recover any money back from them, but he decides not too, very strange x
I think "Lamar" was trolling to find out if the police, FBI was involved because I think he knows that if Darrel was working with the feds that it could spell the end of his little operation. Yea, I'm not totally convinced that Darrel is just some victim in all of this. I kind of get the feeling that he regularly forwards money for these scammers and gets a cut of it. He may of started out as a victim but now he is an accomplice. Personally I think the police should have been called and everything turned over to them. At least that way they could have looked into Darrel's bank accounts and phone records to see just what kind of activities he has been up to. Plus they are better suited to protect him if necessary. There is such a group called "The Jamaican Posse" and you don't want them coming after you.

Listening to the way these scammers talk to people and what they say is so sickening they’re literally stealing someone’s money and treating them like a scum in the process!! it’s even more disturbing that people in this country are enabling them to do it.
Ok. Psychologically speaking, Darrell is definitely making things up. The problem is that Chappy asked close-ended questions with the possibility of "confirming" the actions taken rather than him telling the story. When Chappy asked if the certified check was a bad check, he didn't hesitate and immediately he said "Yup!". He's involved and he knows it. He doesn't know how to lie.

When Darrell was asked how much his take was, and he blurted out "Seven" then clammed up, he knew how much he was supposed to keep. I am glad Chappy is on top of this.

I fell for a lotto scan in 2005 and they stole 238 dollars from my bank account. They were aggressive and threatening , yelling. That was the last time I fell for any phone calls and false promises.

He's scared, and wants the money. I never got the feeling that he fully trusted or believed the Trilogy team there. I think he will be a money mule again soon.
I was scammed when someone called me with a girls voice in the background saying.. “mom”. As if they had my daughter hostage. My daughter was a college student in another state and tbh they had me going for a minute. Once they realized I was onto them they were so belligerent even calling back and listening to my voicemail prompt where I identified myself and the company I work for. I deleted that prompt and is now just a generic prompt with my phone number.
That happened to my mother in 1978. They told her they had kidnapped my sister (named her!) and a girl in the background was calling “Mom, help.” They knew where my father worked (he had a public service job). She called the police and they located us (four daughters). I was in college and got pulled out of class. They called her back and she told them they were full of crap, although I think she used a more rude expression.

Another great video. I just hope Darrel is really done with these scammers for once and for all. It would have been great if you could have gotten more information on what his next step was to be, but at least you may have gotten another mule shut down. You may not have shut the scammer down, but his operation has been disrupted for a little while. You all did some great work on this, keep it up.

The fact that guy knew he was getting cash makes me wonder if he’s actually innocent and didn’t know it was part of a scam.
Oh they do know. I get job emails saying they want to hire me as a courier assistant. I know it's really mule job so they explain to them what to do
He knew 100% what he was doing. They automatically treated him like a victim, but he already stated he hasn't sent Lamar any money. He knew he was picking up all that money. Just listening to his responses, tells me everything I need to know. They were supposed to press the mule how he knew Lamar first before automatically assuming he was an innocent victim.
He literally said he was looking for 40k to get even with Lamar. Come on!!! This is the best sketch comedy show ever if it's not real.
I really wish you would have tracked the box and continued it through the chain instead of talking to the scammer so soon. You could have built a much bigger case and seen literally ever single link in the chain.

im so glad that people are going after the scammers specially for older people. i dont answer any calls or emails from people from people i dont know. ive learned so much about scams via this and other channels. its so hard these days you really cant trust anyone

Can't remember the last time I got a scam call. Reckon I've scared them off, always asked "how long will this take? I'm busy burying a dead body in my garden and need to finish before my neighbours get home and see me" the scared silence was worth it!!

You guys are great. So many old people fall victim to these scams and lose all their life savings to these heartless evil scum.
I think you're very brave, but be careful guys. America is a dangerous country with so many illegal guns, you never know if you could end up meeting someone armed and dangerous due to the amounts of money involved and the high prison sentences they face if caught. Be sure to take every precaution to protect yourselves and stay safe. .I've watched some of your stings and whilst I don't know what goes on behind the scenes, it concerns me a bit that sometimes you go to pickup points and stay there quite a while talking on phone and walking around making yourselves very visible targets to scammers...remember scammers are probably already there somewhere with eyes on you. Always assume that when you go into a situation. Ideally have backup watching you further back for any suspicious vehicles or individuals approaching you may not be aware of.
