The reason the plane was slow to climb out was due to the fact that you were in CLB-2 on the N1 Limit page. When you set the temp to 67, the FMC will select a lower CLB power so that the power doesn't surge forward after it reaches the acceleration altitude. You can manually set CLB or CLB-1 and it will give a more noticeable increase in acceleration/climb. This can be seen at 9:23.

Great set Captain!... its really awesome to see where technology has gotten us... all the way from the first flight sime back in the 80's! Happy skies!
You know the guy is for real when he got a working printer with instructions on board. I mean come on now. Not only I didn't know there were some sort of micro printers in a cockpit, but a simulator got one installed and working. I was never surprised but this one really cracked me up. I wouldn't be surprised if he opened one of those windows and wind started to blow inside the cockpit. How real can you get? I got to look inside the channel to see if he did a walk through his simulator. What's installed, how everything works and obviously a cost.
Really glad seeing so passion pro pilot choosen XPlane for this setup. Once i got luck to use certified real simulator for couple of days on my own, there i realized how close XPlane to real flight simulation at least with its interface.
WTF!!!!!!!?????? Is this a Home "simulator"?????? Man!!!!!!!!! Absolutely AMAZING!!!! It's so real. I didn't know that it can be possible to have or build one of this, and very real.
I really wanted to fly this with you. All set but did not expect such a long delay… thankfully I was flying along to the video not live… I flew the route in a Piper Arrow 3 instead but loved the scenery…A real shame about the event fizzling out!!!!
The problem with lining up like that behind all the others is you would wind up breathing everyone else's jet fumes! I hated that part of the takeoff checklist! LOL...
That’s why you should ALWAYS run through your checklist because you were slow retracting those flaps. The longer you stay in t/o configuration the more fuel you burn. After passing 2500AGL get that plane cleaned up and run through your checks. The airlines would of hammered you for that.
Also, do all the switches and controls drive actual inputs or produce responses in the software, too? UA-cam routed your channel to me and have never seen this before- completely fascinated!
Are those 2 black vertical lines where the separate screens meet? I wanna say they make a material thats suppose to sit in between them and sort of blend the image between the 2 helping to make a seamless transition between the 2, I think its called a Bezel-free kit. Amazing setup btw!
You are correct, but the largest ones available are for 27” monitor’s. I put 4” wide Velcro behind to pull the 82” TV screens together. Although the cameras can pick up the bezels I never even notice them.
I sat in the cockpit with a 13 year old who new how to fly in a simulator like this, and it was a strange feeling, watching him do his checklist, and waiting 30 min taxiing down the run way.. and then take off....it blew my mind..
Love your setup. I haven't been on Vatsim for over 10 years. The cost to keep up with every new MSFS, was getting expensive. Unfortunately, I have a lot of Hardware, EFIS, radio stack, MCP and other Goflight hardware that's now in storage. I recently got back into it with Xbox.
Holy moly @pat738 I didn’t k ow this was a sim until the view changed suddenly and the car outside was lagging. But you said your wife bought this for you? Brother she really likes you this setup is ridiculously amazing! Can you please share this built and make a video of how to build this? Please please this will be such a value for content
Forgive me for my ignorance, but how does this work? I see X-Plane on the top left of the screen, and the small window to the top right outside appears to also be simulated, but the cockpit he sits in looks real. I just saw another simulation called "Operation copperhead," where the planes looked exceptionally simulated, but the pilots that were communicating sounded real. My question is this: Does this gentleman have access to the expensive simulator that pilots train on, or is this cockpit real itself? I know that the high-end simulators that pilots train on are exactly the same as the airplanes they train for but housed, but this looks real, especially when he sits down inside. SOMEONE PLEASE MAKE SENSE OF THIS TO ME! Thanks.
@pat738W Thank you for explaining this to me. I really appreciate it. I absolutely fell in love with your setup. It is excellent and looks beautiful! The only problem that I have with your simulator is that now I have to figure out how to tell my wife I'm buying one. 🤣 Not to mention that it's going to be blocking the kitchen. Trust me that this will happen!!! I'm also grateful that it's not super expensive like a full plane because I'll need the extra cash for the divorce she'll be filing. Anyway, great video and setup you have. And thanks for showing this to us. It really opened my eyes to how technology has come a long way and made it available to aviation enthusiasts who would never be able to own their own planes.
Gracias cap por este video tan estupendo le felicito no pense que llegaramos a tener tantas cosas en un simulador casero. mis felicitaciones desde icao SVMD
Awesome rig you have there man. One suggestion, you might want to look into an alternative mic / or a pop filter setup as the constant breathing through the mic kinda ruins the whole ambience of the stream. I’m not complaining , it’s a cool as hell setup, i just think the stream could be even better if the sound was sorted out.

I’ve been telling my wife that forever. LOL
Was my first time to your channel and was so impressed with this setup that although I didn't catch the live stream I still sat with you all the way through even though I could have scrubbed to 1 hour 47. Enjoyed this very much, well worth the watch time, the Sub, and the like. Earned!
Thanks
Gotta give the guy credit for living a passion!
What an amazing simulation setup you have. Looks like a lot of fun.
Great set Captain!... its really awesome to see where technology has gotten us... all the way from the first flight sime back in the 80's! Happy skies!
Agreed, I started in 1984 on Prosim Logic, Cessna 172 stick figures at Megis Field. I was hooked
It’s all about the “IMMERSION”!
Well done Capt I take off my hat, coat and gloves. Thanks for the ride. 🇺🇾
By the thumbnail, I thought this was a real fly view!! Turns out, it's a real HOME flying. Amazing mate!!
Thanks for giving me the opportunity to see your sim yesterday! It's mind blowing... Love to fly right seat with you some time!
Your welcome, give me a call
Really glad seeing so passion pro pilot choosen XPlane for this setup. Once i got luck to use certified real simulator for couple of days on my own, there i realized how close XPlane to real flight simulation at least with its interface.
Just stumbled across this page. This is awesome
Thanks, enjoy. I do!
First time seeing this channel.. HOLY CRAP this is an amazing set up!!!!!! SUBBED
@@tatedottech Thanks
WTF!!!!!!!?????? Is this a Home "simulator"?????? Man!!!!!!!!! Absolutely AMAZING!!!! It's so real. I didn't know that it can be possible to have or build one of this, and very real.
Thanks
I was not sure if this was a real cockpit untill 17min i to the video. Nice work =)
Nice suprise
This is next level sim pilot nerdery. I respect it.
This is AWESOME! Keep it up Pat! 👍
Thanks,
Congratulations. You have a beautiful real cockpit. Me too i'm a simer. With P3D on IVAO. ;) .
I'm saving this video to my playlist. this is what im talking about!
I really wanted to fly this with you. All set but did not expect such a long delay… thankfully I was flying along to the video not live… I flew the route in a Piper Arrow 3 instead but loved the scenery…A real shame about the event fizzling out!!!!
That passion is amazing. Approved by Ho Lee Fuk and Wee Too Loo crew xD really amazing
The problem with lining up like that behind all the others is you would wind up breathing everyone else's jet fumes! I hated that part of the takeoff checklist! LOL...
😲 my face when i clicked on the video.. this is insane. Im blown away by this.
Enjoy
@@pat738W were you an ATP?
Nope, just a impulsive, obsessive simmer
@@pat738W impressive! im a student pilot about to get my PPL. I have the most basic sim possible at home but it does the job!
awesome set up - just wish you could get a wind cover / 'dead cat' cover for your microphone!
Will do
That’s why you should ALWAYS run through your checklist because you were slow retracting those flaps. The longer you stay in t/o configuration the more fuel you burn. After passing 2500AGL get that plane cleaned up and run through your checks. The airlines would of hammered you for that.
Wow Wow and Thrice Wow !!!!!, even my wife came and watched you land !!!
This is so Amazing. I have a racing sim that is capable of motion if I can ever afford it.
This is just Amazing.
That's beautiful. Excellent work on that sim.
Also, do all the switches and controls drive actual inputs or produce responses in the software, too? UA-cam routed your channel to me and have never seen this before- completely fascinated!
Yes, 95% of the switches & Lights operate thtu TekWorxs i/o cards. I use X-Plane 12 with ZiboMod
Hello hello from France ! Cheese ansd wine as usual !
Very very nice sim sir ! Congrats ! I'm jealous sir ! lol
Amazing!!! hug from Brazil!
I have the same setup you do at my house. The only thing different is that I have the X-Plane software running on a Dell PowerEdge Server.
Damn! Firts time here! That setup is awesome! 👍
Same VATSIM different Client, xpilot or vpilot
@@pat738W unfortunate. Imagine being able to see planes from both software. Then again 85 minutes waiting to take is crazy enough.
Oh, I can see planes from any sim (P3D, xPlane, MSFS) in Vatsim
@@pat738W Nice.
This looks so real, it's actually trippy as hell.
I didn't realize this was a simulator. That is one awesome setup
Suprise!
i really thought this was REAL but i was also confused at the same time LMFAO lovely video!
@@farangeddie check out my channel. Lots of assembly & disassembly videos
This is my first time to your channel I’m like wow 👀💕
Thanks, enjoy
Thanks.
This is a full cockpit simulator in my house. Made by Flightdeck Solutions. Connected to VATSIM in X-Plane 12 and ZiboMod B737
Exactly!!!!!!

@pat738W oh my God, it's beautifully awesome 👌. Thanks for the 360 link you sent. Man, o man, it's fantastic.
Gracias cap por este video tan estupendo le felicito no pense que llegaramos a tener tantas cosas en un simulador casero. mis felicitaciones desde icao SVMD
That looks goood! I ❤it man. Ty for creating your channel
Watch some of my recent UA-cam’s, the problem is fixed
OMG ur the best! way to go man! Fly safe!
