This has to be the most incredible "Home" flight simulator I've ever seen!
Damn right it is! So real in fact you have painfully long flight delay and you lose ur luggage
ong
This guy is great another channel that has a flight deck is Flywithrookie
ua-cam.com/video/A3KqvwXT4A4/v-deo.html
I have seen a few like this now but it still blows my mind, the most impressive one I saw was one guy bought a boeing 737 front half sawed it down put it in his garage and turned the flight deck into a home flight simulator, type; ''Tour the Boeing 737 Flight Simulator Built in a Garage'' into youtube
Thanks
It's all fun until you sit in a virtual line for 80 minutes prior to taking off
Ain’t that the truth, got the full VATSIM Experience there.
@@pat738Wnot to mention waiting to transmit then have 5 stations talk at once
Thought this was exaggerated but damn
@@TheAcousticCitizen What part did you find exaggerated?
@@pat738WI think he means sitting in line for 80 minutes
I love how in true flight sim realism fashion, half of this stream is spent on the ground in traffic
For us non-simmers, the scene of just leaving the plane in such a realistic cockpit was surreal 2:07:15
Yeah, kind of funny looking. Had to go under screen to adjust window cooling fan. Ooops
@@pat738W Imagine that in real life "Don't mind me, I'm just gonna nip out and sort out the window cooling fan, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh". Anyone seen the captain?
fuck i thought this was real. deadass. untli i scrolled to the comments. that video on the bottom right looks almost 100% real. oh ya other than they pilot suit he sohuld be wearing alos. but shit , this had me comfused. to bad airliners could actually film like this.
@@BayAreaBully7667what how did you not see the entire screen💀
@@BayAreaBully7667man was watching this video high💀
Hey Pat, I'm an Airline Pilot and major hats off to you sir. What an awesome set up. Love the passion! Keep up the awesome work!
Appreciate the kudos, really like it when real world ATP fly with me, learn the “how come’s” of flying this bird.
DC, do you do vatsim?
@@thebaseballguy9929 I only do VATSIM flights as AAL1 for joinava.org
I'm an old school FSX guy. Still have my computer from 2006 with it on there. I do plan to upgrade and get into this a bit later on. I love seeing people enjoy aviation like this.
Hey DC, not sure if this guy’s a real pilot( first video I’ve ever watched him) but let’s pretend he was a passenger on this exact model of plane and both pilots became incapacitated. Would he be able to step in and land the plane if he were able to stay calm and not forget all of the controls+ listening to ATC? Thanks in advance. I’m only two minutes in so no clue if he’s an actual pilot yet lol.
May your sky’s be clear and your passion for flying be the same as day one, cheers buddy.
Edit: Well, now I know he’s flying a 737-800. I’m gonna take a guess and say he’d have a very good chance of flying and landing a 737-800 if he were forced to do so. I’m impressed by the ATC( not the long wait time at SEA), other pilots, etc. if I were just listening to this I’d think it were a real world recording.
I've seen you flying on Vatsim for years! I didn't know you had a full sim like this. Thats awesome Pat
This sim makes flying on VATSIM a real “hoot”
That's sooo awesome. I've never seen a game place like this. Who can I buy a complete cockpit?? 😂
Flightdeck Solutions, Open Cockpits, SISMO, Simworld, Flight Sim Center Italy, CPFlight
whats the estimated costs for such realistic cockpit?@@pat738W
As someone who’s flight sim experience is limited to a few MSFS2020 flights on an Alienware laptop, we have to say that this is amazing. Thank you for sharing.
What an amazing set up you have built! I hope that you feel immensly proud of what you have made and enjoy the flights that you make in her!
Thanks, it’s fun to build & fly. Lots of work!
@@pat738W I think it looks fantastic, you've poured a lot of time and effort into making this work, I can see that. I have just built a custom 3DOF motion rig for flight and car racing. It's very immersive in VR and a lot of fun. The planning and building, and then optimising, was a lot of work and a lot of fun too.
@@manic_miner So you know the “fun” I’m in.
@@pat738W Yup, the 'fun' is never done :)
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's absolutely incredible! Just a helpful hint...Using a pop filter on your microphone would take out the wind noise.
Or just move the mic away from your mouth a little
You, sir, are the first person other than me using the single V cue flight ditector. Hats off to you !
I like the “Flying V” cues, it’s modern
Great set Captain!... its really awesome to see where technology has gotten us... all the way from the first flight sime back in the 80's! Happy skies!
Agreed, I started in 1984 on Prosim Logic, Cessna 172 stick figures at Megis Field. I was hooked
My bad, just subscribed and looked through your other videos and answered my own question. Look forward to enjoying watching your incredible talent putting this all together!
Incredible setup Pat! Retired ATC and I'm definitely impressed! I'm a little late to the show but was wondering if you had posted a UA-cam video of the build from start to finish? That would be a site to see! I'd be curious to see how long it took and all the other details that went into it.
This was so impressive, I was actually waiting thinking man I hope this line moves soon...before realizing I could fast forward lol.
Man... This cockpit is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen! 👌
Fun to fly too, thanks
Wonderful cockpit, sir! One note: first procedure, then checklist.
This is the most awesome flight deck I've ever seen outside the military and Textron. Bravo Zulu to you sir
Thanks
Wow sir this is fantastic! I'm definitely jealous of this setup, although I bet it requires a ton of maintenance lol
You correct, lots going on behind the curtain
This is like you just took out the B737 real cockpit into your place and set it up. Just amazing!
I did. 😂
This is The best home cockpit ive ever seen
Thanks, fun to build and fly
I bet that had some big price tag for that lovely sim
Wow man I'm new here. This is amazing!!! I wish I have a set up like this. I missed my dream of being a pilot. So amazing!
Was my first time to your channel and was so impressed with this setup that although I didn't catch the live stream I still sat with you all the way through even though I could have scrubbed to 1 hour 47. Enjoyed this very much, well worth the watch time, the Sub, and the like. Earned!
Thanks
The passion shines through in every video. It's truly inspiring.
that’s insane almost two hours to take off. Even simulating real world delays. Good thing you did American. Had you done United we’d have had to watch 23 hours of empty cockpit at gate.
LOL
hey, just clarifying as a controller during this event, this isn't simulating real world delays. this was during a very high-traffic event, and combined with unoptimal conditions, it gave people extremely long delays. usually there's nearly no delay when there's no event
There normally isn't this long of delay at ANY fno's let's not go making an excuse now. Admit you guys dropped the ball, been in plenty of FNO's over the years with this heavy of a traffic load that moved faster with less runways..
@@curtisridge2506 oh hi! you're just mad you didnt get your clearance first, and just so you know, we sent PDCs (which you can't hear.) we've also done this before. I think you should check your attitude before posting angry comments at people who volunteer their own time so pilots can enjoy their experience on VATSIM
lmao, i flew into this event bud, i heard all the chatter.. ive been on vatsim for a good 10 years now, its hard to believe this was considered good. Though to be fair, i don't know what was going on at the back end so ill just leave it at that. My main complaint is the insane hold times for 20 planes on a taxiway, that's it. not clearances. I hope next one runs a bit smoother, that's all.@@haydito1447
Back in 2008 I commanded AA 1 on my second to last trip prior to retirement. It was American 1Heavy back then, a 767-200 from JFK to LAX, as it had been since the 1950’s at least. Back in the day it was also known as the Mercury. Today is is apparently an A-321 flight, still JFK to LAX.
That’s a fantastic history, thanks for sharing. I’m the CEO (AAL1) of a virtual airline “ joinava.org “ so that’s why I use that call sign on all my flights. All of our flights are VATSIM only.
I am speechless😳 ok im going ti talk now, this is the most incredible simulator i have ever seen and im sure will ever see in my entire life! You take having fun to a mind altering level😳 Great job 👍
Glad you can enjoy, as I obviously do!
The set up you have is amazing. I have been with flight sim as a hobby since 1982 but have never dreamt of such an endeavour. Such a thoughtful wife
Beautiful. I would be in there with him!
I def must show this to my Mrs. She promised me I can do flightsim again when I retire....now I know what I will ask for to compensate for all those missing years. I am 38 tho, still long way to a happy retirement 😂. Great setup, Sir!
We’ll keep me in mind, I’ll be ready to sell by then. Or better yet just start sneaking the parts in slowly, she’ll never notice. LoL
@@pat738W lol, one great sim-smuggling adventure, a story to proudly share with grandchildren later lol 😄 I am in, Pat! 👍
Why wait till you retire? If you can afford it, why not just by a simulator? Hey is your wifi against it?
Why do you need her permission? Most people do flight sim with a decent PC and a few hundred bucks in peripherals.
this is the amazing thing about sims you can play with one guy who has a ch yoke from the 90s ratchet strapped down to his desk and then the other dude is like pat738 haha
😂 I had a CH Yoke,
WTAF I am speechless - I can’t even comprehend the dedication, commitment and passion this took
Hats off fine sir, hats off indeed
Simply incredible
Thank you
There was nothing more euphoric for me then when I would climb aboard the C-141B Flight Deck and hear the sounds of all the Nav equipment cooling fan. (retired Flight Engineer from McChord AFB, WA). There is just something so cool about sitting in the chair with millions of knobs and switches everywhere! LOL....I mean c'mon folks, you know what I'm talking about.....hehehee. And there is something cool about hearing the cabin crews chime! BTW...you have a VERY cool wife to have got you this rig! DANG! She clearly must be happy to have you spend you days and nights in here...giggle...you know I'm just teasing with you! But really cool to have that kinda wife! 😁😋
the Zibo really is in the x-plane best/ must have list and its free in payware level, its a shame that they didnt manage to do the same with the 747-400 freeware, lots of bugs in the 747-400 freeware
ZiboMod is not done by X-Plane but by Lubas Zebec. He took the original XP 11 B737-800 at Austin’s permission to modify freely
Im absolutely stunned how you managed to pull this of. It's by far the best home sim I have ever seen. If I would have this I would say goodby to my wife and children, sell the car, sell the house , and live in the sim flight deck 😂😂😂
Having a Sim Plan is always good
😂 😂 😂
That is incredibly funny. I have to build the simulator somewhere else, so my wife wouldn’t find it and put it out on the front lawn for the garbageman, not knowing what it was.
my main question is how did you get the traffic on navigraph charts ?? i need thattt, by the way GREAT VIDEO i watched every bit, and since i fly the 738 in MSFSand it was fun doing the checklist and procedures with you since I knew everythinggg.
I did not have VATSIM traffic on NAVIGRAPH Charts with my forward Microsoft Surface Pro. (Which also has Air Manager Zobomod EFB). I do have VATSIM traffic on my rear iPad Pro with Foreflight.
Amazing!!! My uncle was an airline mechanic pasted away years ago and he was into pc sims! He would have fell in love with your setup!!! I speak for him when saying this is amazing we love it!!!!keep videos coming
Thanks, my twin brother is a retired A/P mechanic also
Holy crap! I didn't realize this was Sim until the 17:27 mark! Amazing!
you need to find a sulution for the breating in the mic thing it makes the long silent periodes hard to watch because of the annoying mic breathing sounds.
Thanks for the input, I’ll move the mic away from my mouth. Didn’t realize.
@@pat738WPop filter would do the trick
there's just one thing lacking here; a nice crisp ironed pilot's uniform.
i'm not into flight sims but this one i should say is the best. insanely awesome!
I’ve been telling my wife that forever. LOL
Actually thought this was real at first, that's an incredible setup you have 👍🏼
Thanks! It’s a whoot to fly
I wish Mr P was my uncle!!!😂😂😂 I would sit in that sim for days at a time!!! I would try to replicate every single airline incident/accidents in the book!! I remember when the first Microsoft flight simulator came out..I would sit in front of my small computer screen for hours flying from kewr to tsjs..then step by step I got into learning to program an fmc... setting up frequencies for ILS..etc everyday you learn more and more until you remember everything by memory..having a home fs like that would be a dream come true!! I even tried going to the Delta flight simulator in Atlanta airport but when I finally had the money to spend and a reservation the whole museum closed because of covid!! That was going to be an awesome experience!!! Keep having fun Mr P!!!😂😂
This is an amazing sim setup. Just bought some Honeycomb controllers to replace my Logitech yoke and throttle, thinking I am getting serious. But this! Very nice sir.
Yeah, “I’m in the deep end of the swimming pool”. Everyone has to start somewhere. Saitek was my start 10 years ago
That is an amazing setup. Awesome job Pat738!
Thanks
Really glad seeing so passion pro pilot choosen XPlane for this setup. Once i got luck to use certified real simulator for couple of days on my own, there i realized how close XPlane to real flight simulation at least with its interface.
What an amazing simulation setup you have. Looks like a lot of fun.
Video is absolutely amazing I watch UA-cam all day 7 days a week and I've never commented on any of the videos but that blew my mind I was expecting to get off an aeroplane at the end of it PMSL great job well done 👍👍
Thanks for the great feedback
I used to fly this route many years ago in a B738 or B739, or KSAN. I loved your video thanks, one more subscriber. Looks like you had a lot of job setting everything up in your home cockpit. Congrats!
Thanks so much
Well done Capt I take off my hat, coat and gloves. Thanks for the ride. 🇺🇾
i just watched almost 90 minutes of traffic and waiting. Dont even know why i watch every minute of this but i loved it
Yeah, I’ve had 3/4 million hits on that flight, behind crazy
The reason the plane was slow to climb out was due to the fact that you were in CLB-2 on the N1 Limit page. When you set the temp to 67, the FMC will select a lower CLB power so that the power doesn't surge forward after it reaches the acceleration altitude. You can manually set CLB or CLB-1 and it will give a more noticeable increase in acceleration/climb. This can be seen at 9:23.
Thanks for the insight, I’ll go back and review.
I have never seen anything like this in my life, we truly do live in the future and your wife truly loves you sir 😁.
one of the best house simulators I have seen in my life.. I even felt it =)
Well thanks for the kinds words & support
6 screens and just looking into one. Legend!
Hello hello from France ! Cheese ansd wine as usual !
Very very nice sim sir ! Congrats ! I'm jealous sir ! lol
This looks real!
great set up, great job!

Damn! Firts time here! That setup is awesome! 👍
Невероятный кокпит. Наверное, он стоит как настоящий небольшой самолет.
Bro just a Boeing 737 at this moment lmao!!! Love it though, keep it up, I can bet you are a better passionate pilot then most out there.
What an incredible setup you have!

That's beautiful. Excellent work on that sim.
DAMN.... Thats just awesome!
This is how airlines should be seeking their pilots. he should be a real pilot. Yes not everyone can afford it but. the dedication is showing. if i was an airline employer i did give him a try real life
Amazing!!! hug from Brazil!
This is incredible !!
Quede atrapado con este video, felicitaciones tienes un nuevo suscriptor. Saludos desde Argentina""!!!
Super cool, congrats sir!
That’s why you should ALWAYS run through your checklist because you were slow retracting those flaps. The longer you stay in t/o configuration the more fuel you burn. After passing 2500AGL get that plane cleaned up and run through your checks. The airlines would of hammered you for that.
This is so Amazing. I have a racing sim that is capable of motion if I can ever afford it.
This is just Amazing.
Awesome setup!!
Just stumbled across this page. This is awesome
Thanks, enjoy. I do!
Congratulations. You have a beautiful real cockpit. Me too i'm a simer. With P3D on IVAO. ;) .

wow, absolutely amazing!
That passion is amazing. Approved by Ho Lee Fuk and Wee Too Loo crew xD really amazing
I didn't realize this was a simulator. That is one awesome setup
Suprise!
You know the guy is for real when he got a working printer with instructions on board. I mean come on now. Not only I didn't know there were some sort of micro printers in a cockpit, but a simulator got one installed and working. I was never surprised but this one really cracked me up. I wouldn't be surprised if he opened one of those windows and wind started to blow inside the cockpit. How real can you get? I got to look inside the channel to see if he did a walk through his simulator. What's installed, how everything works and obviously a cost.
It’s all about the “IMMERSION”!
this is insanely cool!
This looks so real, it's actually trippy as hell.
I sat in the cockpit with a 13 year old who new how to fly in a simulator like this, and it was a strange feeling, watching him do his checklist, and waiting 30 min taxiing down the run way.. and then take off....it blew my mind..
Wow impressive flight, setup, a fun flight with ya, other then the wait before takeoff lol.
By the thumbnail, I thought this was a real fly view!! Turns out, it's a real HOME flying. Amazing mate!!
You earned that my friend 👍👍 Keep at it👍
Really super to see Pat!!
Thanks Peter!
This is my first time to your channel I’m like wow 👀💕
Thanks, enjoy
WTF!!!!!!!?????? Is this a Home "simulator"?????? Man!!!!!!!!! Absolutely AMAZING!!!! It's so real. I didn't know that it can be possible to have or build one of this, and very real.
Thanks
