@The Truth Nobody said that. YOU hand out the punishment. You call the cops on your kid and first off you risk them being shot. You don't know how your kid will react, and you don't know how the police will react to them. And jail is no place to learn your lesson, it's a place to get abused, a place to learn more criminality, a place to meet the worst people. And if you do this, and your kid has a bad time, they will never forget what you did to them. It hurts to be sent to a hellish place by the people who are supposed to watch out for you. It's confusing and hurtful. I highly recommend you don't do this. You know, don't harbor a murderer or anything but if it's fairly minor stuff, the risks outweigh any potential benefits.

people don't join these groups for the purpose of looking down on others. Often it's filled with marginalized people and outcasts. Prison gangs all started as a means of protection for inmates outside the established groups. Humans are inherently tribal and if you take people who are downtrodden and shunned it's no surprise their views and opinions will be toxic. Add in the closed paths to employment or entry to a "normal" world and you end up with meth dealing nazis or crack slinging gangbangers. People focus too much on the dressings and less on the universal aspects and it will never be rectified until they do
It can be doubly rough when you're shunned and marginalized, then told you're privileged and pampered by society and others are your victims. The lived experience never matches the views from the ivory towers

It's like that for most gangs. And I knew people when I was locked up who were AB and they hung out with and played cards with black people and everyone else for that matter. In fact (not talking about the og's) I NEVER heard the n word. Prison forces you to go with your own so whether whites want to or not they kinda have to fall in line with this. Or you'll be all alone when shit goes down. You don't have to join ABs. I didn't. But if a riot pops off the other gangs aren't gonna ask you if you're a AB. They just gonna poke you and move on to the next. Thank God I never had to deal with that shit. I prayed to God on the regular saying how I didn't have it in me to stab anybody. I knew if it came down to it, I'd be fucked. I'm glad you're sober homie, I shot dope (meth) for years before and after being inside its by the grace of God I'm walking upright these days. Actually it's liberal policies. They had most of the leaders locked down for a long time and they were all released a few years ago. Solitary was considered torture so now they are all back in general pop and reaking havoc !! 90 percent of abt s items are white. Crazy shit
