Wow! Fascinating to learn the "how to". Art, dedication and nature - so beautiful. Thank you for sharing some of your frozen bubbles at the end as well. The nature's art show that you captured and the beautiful music provided a lovely meditation moment for me! PS. I love the heart on your straw too!
Thank you for your wonderful comment, Cindy, your kind words made my day! 🥰 I'm happy I was able to capture this how-to video on one of the last cold days of the winter (it's ending quite early for us.) I never get tired of watching the ice crystals form on the coldest days of winter. It brings out such a sense of wonder in me. I completely get how calming it feels to watch them, too. I stay outside so long, lost in the moment, watching the ice crystals form differently each time, that I only notice how cold I am once I go back in the house 🥶 Many warm blankets and a big bowl of hot soup are needed to bring me back to normal 🤣 The heart on the straw is how I feel every time I'm outdoors in nature 😊
How beautiful!!!! This is where art meets physics and it is so magical and peaceful. Thank you for breaking down the steps for us. You make it look easy.
Thank you, Nina 😊 I'm glad it helped! I hope you get a chance to photograph frozen bubbles - they're SO beautiful. It's already become too warm for them where I live. Luckily, there's always next winter!
I use: 1 1/2 cups water 1/4 cup corn syrup 1/2 cup liquid dish soap I have a how-to video called: How To Make Frozen Bubbles, which you might find helpful. I go over the recipe, how I mix and store it, as well as some of my best advice on the weather conditions and tips for getting started. I hope that helps :) Hope you get a chance to make some amazing frozen bubbles this winter!
The magic of light and optics. Who knew this much beauty is this close???
Thank you! It amazes me every time ❄️ Nature is awesome!
Well done, Rosemary!! Love the music you chose as well.
Thank you, Wendy! The music felt so haunting and mystical - perfect for the magic of Winter and frozen bubbles.
