    I bought the kit from you and i an having trouble installing it on my 2002 zuma bugeye, specifically the front variator. The spacer that comes stock is too big for the variator to fit and there seems to not be another kind of the kit, how should i go about doing this, also with the bugeye do i still need to cut the metal ring off the motor thank you 🙏

    15:30. Why do i need to remove the metal ring or whatever it is. Since i have the spacer on the crankshaft it wouldnt rub or anything. And is it the same on all oversize variators? I just mounted a stage6 oversize on yamaha slider witch also has the vertical minarelli.
    Thanks

    Man, love your channel! Brings back so many good memory's. Had to start up my Aprilia sr 70cc Malossi mhr speed yesterday and take it for a short rip after 10 years. I own this beast for 20 years and the sound and power still gives me a thrill. The only thing in Holland is that if you get caught with more than 50cc, they will destroy you scooter. Can you insure the tuned bikes there and legally drive them?

    I have a yamaha slider 2015 and i am wondering if i could benefit from a less stiff spring thing and if i could benefit from a 28mm carb if so do you have any jetting tips? it does 85kmh and has low top end torque

  • @thelunatuckshow5230
    @thelunatuckshow5230 3 роки тому

    I installed mine and the box came with a Polini belt and was marked “upgraded Polini belt”. Right now, I’m using 4.5g rollers with the oem contra spring. Red and yellow seemed too firm until I went to 5.5g rollers, but that dropped my rpm to 10,300. A little too low for my S6 Sport Pro/C16 combo. I was thinking of doing that green spring. Top Performance I think it is. OEM spring is tight on the torque converter.
    Also, I still have 4.5mm of unused travel on both the clutch face and variator.
    How can I get the travel and keep it on the pipe? I think the pipe/cylinder wants 11k rpm.

    • @Scooterswapshop
      @Scooterswapshop  3 роки тому

      Hi you would need to reach out to the vendor you got the kit from. As I’m not aware of what you purchased. If you got the variator and not the overrange, they’re flawed and will never work properly

    Will any of this fit the 139qmb? I need more bottom end, I noticed my belt doesn't go to the top of the rear pulley, but the front is on the drive boss, so it would require a longer belt, the 669-18-30 just doesn't fit for optimum performance, it goes to the absolute top of the front pulley, it leaves NO mark at all, I think it has a gear, because it has no take off and power is the limit for top speed, 40mph at around 8k rpm, I have spent a bit of cash on weights, adjustable rear pulleys, I think I have the right ramp, but still lacking, I have a high compression piston, and a large valve head, I'm about to swap in, if this doesn't do it, I'm going for a 150 swap, or a 2t swap, the top speed is OK, it just can't maintain any of it on slight hills, im at 82cc with cam, ported head, exhaust, and 20mm carb. The compression is low, due to unshrouding the valves, all the machine shops locally have closed, or I would have had the jug milled, to get about 200psi compression, i don't want much over 190psi, somewhere between 195 & 205 psi+/- ) I'm hoping the new head and piston will make the difference, i have 2heads, 1, with 18/21 valves, and one with 21/23valves, the head with smaller valves seem as if they will flow better, the ports are much better, what ever I get figured on this engine, will help with building the other, it is a 52.4mm bore, and 21/23 valves, I'm hoping for more than 5hp from both, the 52.4, I'm hoping for near 10hp, with a stroker crank, and I'll be running 98-100 octane fuel in both, I tried the klotz nitropropane additive, I can see a gain, but definitely would require carb tuning, I don't want to go that far, because I may not always have the additive, i can easily get 105 octane fuel, so a mix equaling 98-100 is easy to keep, and should sufficient with around 200psi compression,,
    However I still have the variator issues, it needs more range, the belt seems to be too short! There is about 2x the belt thickness remaining on the rear pulley! For low speed tq, I have tried 3 different rear pulley assemblies, they all have the same issue! Being I can do 50mph at or under 9k, I'm thinking it has a gear in it! A bit much to keep bottom end take off, no way its going to do wheelies, I have got it up slightly but it's not going to ride out, I looked for 1pe40qmb, for a 2t swap, I'd like to buy a used engine or short block, because I'm putting a big bore kit on anyway, great video!!!
