BRILLIANT demonstration of some non-intuitive (at first blush) parameters - this is going to be a great reference as artists start looking for more control in their noises.
Great tip, I’d love to see something like this for the OVDB Mesher. Even though I use it all the time, there’s a lot of settings in there I don’t understand, and I mostly get the result I want by fiddling vs really knowing what I’m doing. Specifically I’d like to be able to accurately mesh details in models where I’m recreating the models from particles using volume fill and hexagonal mode so I can do melting effects and things like that. In normal voxelization you just need to make the voxels smaller and you can get there, but I struggle with anything that’s not simple/vague with the OVDB Mesher
I hear you bro, i feel there is not enough messing info out there, plus bob works wit fat particle radiuss for demo, but for real detail you need the be working with a radius of 0.0?thing to make sims look detailed, and that where i struggle to get refined messes.
Wish Xparticles starts including more 'looping' options, like it doesn't seems too complicated to get a Fractal noise, any type, to be looped as it's just math. Could you please think about this ?
Does the turbluence, both xp and nexus, work properly with fields? Using 1557 with 23.2.2 C4D and the fields dont work like im used to them. Like, using a linear field, it's instantly at 100% the moment it touches the field somewhere. Doesnt affect every modifier, but with turbelence i ran into this issue. Any idea what i'm doing wrong? Great tutorials though! Absolutely fell in love with xParticles. The existing p-system of c4d is imo one of c4ds biggest flaws. Thank you!
Hi, Yes nxTurbulence and xpTurbulence both work with fields, but it might be hard to see the field's effects depending on how your scene is setup. Head over to our Discord Server and we can share a scene to demonstrate. discord.com/invite/X2zYY7qEyr -Thanks

Love the 2D view of the noise. Yet again, another great video

sorry i cannot get same result . i want to know parameter of emitter . please.

Great feature, as combining multiple noises most times creates a more random = more natural outcome.

Nowadays, can cycles 4d use UDIM?
