I am confused man. When i was part of the charismatic church we were searching for spiritual things to happen. You OC teach me to repent thank you. it is hard work to repent, i fall and still think and imagine God is talking to me in dreams and imagination. I really need a spiritual Father and am looking forward to visiting OC.

what about dogmatic delusion? so many believe incorrectly. I'd like words from the Holy Fathers on how to help those people. It's one thing to say a spiritually experienced man can discern the truth, but most people are not anything close to spiritually experienced in modern times. Short of emotional encounters with the presence of God, how can people be helped to see the truth? It isn't enough for me for the answer to be "if you know you know" or "only God speaking directly to them will save them" if they are so disconnected.

I think because God will do things that our human wisdom can’t fathom but the devil here did something that made sense to the saint.
