What a different in artistic quality with your more recent tutorials: the lines itself, the placement of the lines, the speed, the direction... you have grown a lot over the years ;-)
one of the most educational videos for me cause I didn't really experiment with this too much I always just either kept it too light because I did the shading already and didn't want to risk it or I would try to put a "base coat" on so that I could just shade over that but that isn't easy for me.
Hello Sir, i really liked this video....can i please request you to do a segment on lightings on various objects and people's faces....for beginners ofcourse, please. I am struggling because normally teachers here just verbally say that look at the light source and its shadow on the object or face..without any demonstrations....but its very difficult for students to shade it in live demonstrations...or still life which has more than two light sources or directions....just please do a segment with ur style of explanations...it always makes sense. Please....thank you so much.
Leana Cam perhaps you can think of the cylinder enclosed in a box first. So you draw the box first then the cylinder "in it". Rendering is easiest when you let your lines follow the cross-contour of the cylinder
Always liked how when he gets to it there’s no music or anything distracting playing, just art being made. Calming and informative!

I've been drawing in pen and ink for a while. Though, I lack fundamentals
but your videos are helpful. Keep them coming.

I'm not very good with drawing cylinders on its side or contour lines when hatching. Any tips?
