The P365x is my favorite configuration for the P365. I installed the XL grip module 4 months ago and I’m extremely happy with it. Thanks for the video.
There is a aftermarket company called Tactical Development that has a lot of baseplate options for the p365 and p365xl including baseplates that allow you to use 10 round mags in a xl grip frame. One is a flush baseplate and the other has a small pinky extension. They coat around 15 to 20 dollars. They look nice and function perfectly.
I have the Xl and my buddy has the og. Ive tried all figurations with the two and my preference goes p365, p365x, xl w/ 365 module and my fav is just the stock xl.
Excellent video. Some really useful information on both the grip module and the magazines. Cool tip about the 10 round base plate fitting on the 12 round mag. Thanks.
I got the original 365 and it was a tad too small. So I sold it and got an XL. But I didn't care for the flat trigger. Now I am back to the regular 365.
If you live in a 10 round state, can you just get an extension for the mags to make the grip longer? I have seen them for the pinkie but not for the entire grip
Does replacing the grip module make reloads easier? I notice my mag getting stuck on the meat of my hand which makes me have to strip the mag with my left hand instead of letting it freely drop single handily.
I'm not clear on the advantage of doing this. The part that prints most is the grip. So if I'm happy with the XL grip/module, I might as well buy a P365 XL and get the benefit of the longer barrel.
I just picked up a new XL module from Armory Craft and the magazines do NOT fit in the module. I noticed the internal backstrap looks a bit deformed and is clearly causing the magazine to stick (badly) upon insertion. It probably would take 30s of filing work, but for its cost, this should work straight out of the bag and not require any fitting.
Why ? Standard p365 with the 12rd mag gives you the same grip length as the p365xl. Love your channel but this makes no sense to me , unless I missed something. I gave this a lot of thought comparing the p365 vs p365xl at my LGS before I chose the p365xl with a longer barrel as the bonus . P365XL is also a little less snappy IMO.
Some people like the shorter slide with a longer grip. This is why they buy the G45 and G43x. Both are great options and the fixed grip on the XL frame is more solid grip - along with the extended beaver tail. Again, more options are better IMHO.
Just a guess, but perhaps because in some jurisdictions you're limited to a 10 round mag by law, so you cant put the 365 12 round one in. You can however get 10 round mags that fit in the XL.
Here a question regarding maximum height of the pistols for comparison. If the P365 and P365x both have 12rd mags installed; the P365 with the 12rd mag and extended base pad, vs the P365x with a 12rd mag with flush base pad, what are the max height measurements.
Whatever the measurement is, it should be the same. Both frames utilizes the same magazine the only difference is the 12rd mag when used on the regular P365 grip module uses a spacer to fill in the gap
Excellent video! Answered questions I’ve had about conversion to longer grip! Btw: does the new longer frame already come with a mag release installed?
Check out a company called Tactical Development. They make baseplates that allow you to use 10 round mags in a XL grip module. They cost about 15 to 20 dollars they look great and function perfectly.
the P365X has the "compact", shorter grip, but maybe when you did this video this gun which I own, was not out yet. So calling this a P365X would not be correct, in today's terms.
a light 4 pound trigger with no safety--what could go wrong? Anyone who would pay more than $400 for this cheaply made plastic turd is an idiot anyway.
The P365x is my favorite configuration for the P365. I installed the XL grip module 4 months ago and I’m extremely happy with it. Thanks for the video.
Glad to see someone else using the adjustable hammer
Every tool is a hammer.
I did this to my 365, put Talon grips on it, and it is PERFECT
I did this transformation about 5 months ago... I get to confess thought that I like the nomenclature you came up with.. 365X

Glock 365 modular grip assemblies? Oops! Good video all the same, thank you.
what the fuck
I have the Xl and my buddy has the og. Ive tried all figurations with the two and my preference goes p365, p365x, xl w/ 365 module and my fav is just the stock xl.
I just bought a p365x today. Love it so far. This video was helpful ✊🏼
Excellent video. Some really useful information on both the grip module and the magazines. Cool tip about the 10 round base plate fitting on the 12 round mag. Thanks.
Tactical development has the base plate for the 10 round magazine and you can use the 10 round magazine in the XL grip module.
Love all the combos & conversions!
I got the original 365 and it was a tad too small. So I sold it and got an XL.
But I didn't care for the flat trigger. Now I am back to the regular 365.
This just sold me on the 365. Already liked the pistol but it was just to small for my hands. This solves the problem
its a turd
Great configuration!
Great vid thank you!
Wow. Insane.
thanks, great info
Awesome
Magguts lets you add a new spring and mag floor plate which only adds 2mm but extends 12 rd mag to 14+1
Yeah p365x with magguts gives you 14 rd of 9mm in an almost pocketable pistol. Good stuff
If you live in a 10 round state, can you just get an extension for the mags to make the grip longer? I have seen them for the pinkie but not for the entire grip
Cool 👍 and please make comparation between p365XL vs G48 vs Mossberg mc2c 🙂
I was hoping in any upcoming video you do that you would review the P220 10 mm auto I would be much appreciated thank you
The flat base plates from the standard 10 round magazines do not work on the 12 Round magazines. They are different.
Does replacing the grip module make reloads easier? I notice my mag getting stuck on the meat of my hand which makes me have to strip the mag with my left hand instead of letting it freely drop single handily.
is P365 X frame same as P365 XL ?? thanks
Has anyone put a 365SAS slide on an XL frame?
I'm not clear on the advantage of doing this. The part that prints most is the grip. So if I'm happy with the XL grip/module, I might as well buy a P365 XL and get the benefit of the longer barrel.
Yea but at the same time that grip does not add anything to the carry capability and the module is only $30 compared to a $600 new gun
Yeah he means if you already have the standard p365 and want the larger grip
I just picked up a new XL module from Armory Craft and the magazines do NOT fit in the module. It probably would take 30s of filing work, but for its cost, this should work straight out of the bag and not require any fitting.
I'd send that back to sig, myself. Call them up though. They may have an easier solution.

@@AZTrigger I'd prefer the standard frame with the XL slide. The grip is what prints and a longer sight radius is always better.
I agree i have the NRA Edition and the 12 rd mag in it is as good as it gets , for me anyway.
@@AZTrigger any issues with the holster not working after converting to the xl frame?
Just a guess, but perhaps because in some jurisdictions you're limited to a 10 round mag by law, so you cant put the 365 12 round one in. You can however get 10 round mags that fit in the XL.
We now have a 365 x
Am I able to switch the regular frame to the xl if my regular 365 has the manual safety?
Here a question regarding maximum height of the pistols for comparison.

Great video Bubba! Appreciate it ✊🏼
Did I get that right? You can convert the standard 10rnd 365 magazine to work with the xl grip module by adding the 12rnd extended base plate?
No the 12 rd extended mag for the standard p365 has a “spacer baseplate” that is you swap for a flat baseplate will work
Excellent video! Answered questions I’ve had about conversion to longer grip! Btw: does the new longer frame already come with a mag release installed?
Yes - already installed
AZ Trigger thanks so much!
I live in a state where 10rds only, I think u can put on the 365xl plate on the 10rd magazine and I think it fits in the XL module, is that correct?
Check out a company called Tactical Development. They make baseplates that allow you to use 10 round mags in a XL grip module. They cost about 15 to 20 dollars they look great and function perfectly.
Could I just keep the xl frame & trigger & just add the p365 slide on top ???
Yes
The whole point is concealment. The grip is the part that sticks out. What’s the point changing your p365. Get the xl already
I love you
7:27 I don't think yo can do that
the P365X has the "compact", shorter grip, but maybe when you did this video this gun which I own, was not out yet. So calling this a P365X would not be correct, in today's terms.
The money spent buying mags that will fit and new frame, you’re better off just buying a p365x
a light 4 pound trigger with no safety--what could go wrong? Anyone who would pay more than $400 for this cheaply made plastic turd is an idiot anyway.
