That's the entire point of JKD, removes the pointless and superfluous, retains the necessary and effective.
In Wing Chun training I used to get frustrated with doing 100 straight punches with one arm at a time, but it immensely increased the power in my straight punch, my endurance and focussed the necessary muscles

Thank you Sifu Dan and Sifu Signong for the lesson. Very nice simple but sweet workout to get the blood pumping and warm up the muscles. This would be nice to do three times a day. In the morning to wake up the body, then in the afternoon to break out the stiffness many of us get from sitting behind a computer all day. Then in the evening to loosen us up a bit before going to sleep. Keep up the awesome work. Cheers.

Hey Sifu Dan, love what you do! Again I'm reminded to just do the pushup! And even during the "rest" period, you're still moving, staying on top of things.
By the way, I was wondering. Have you had any breakthroughs since becoming successful? I know that early in your career you've had lots of growth with your mentors when they challenged you to do things you didn't want to do so that you could be who you wanted to be.
Would you say you've become who you wanted to become, and as of now you're just challenging reality to catch up to you in terms of your goals? Are there any a-ha moments that you've had recently?

      If you can't do a knee pushup,then
      1. Get into that position
2.Slowly lower your body until your chest reaches the floor
3.Then instead of pushing yourself back up just get into the initial position and repeat this two or three times
Do this for a week or two and you could do atleast one knee pushup

Great video! Circuit training is the best and easiest way to get in shape for beginners. All you need is jogging, sit-ups, push-ups, and shadow boxing. 15 minutes a day is sufficient for beginners. I usually do three reps of 60 push-ups, 100 sit-ups and 3 minutes of shadow boxing. Then it’s 1 hour of jogging followed by 30 minutes of bag work.

When he did punches, shouldn't his right leg be behind and left leg in front? That's what I was taught.
