How convenient.
I was given the capacity to reason and second guess such existence though, and if that's not enough, why bother question anything if God just intended for it to be that way? Treating god as a sort of "person" rather than some sort of abstraction of the highest good just does not work for me. Jordan Peterson was the first to get god to make any sort of sense to me, so I guess I'll just stick with something closer to his view.
It's more like...."would your deficiencies not cause you to second guess that existence" Thank you Vivek.

Don't ever divorce purpose from God, if you think that you have more power than He, well do try to build stars, planets, and moons, along with all that exists in their entities. Our understanding of God is miniscule, but He did give us The Word, His Son, and The Holy Spirit. Now yes there are crazy things and occurences that we may not be able to explain, but it all comes from God.

Divorcing your purpose from God is a huge mistake. Everything hinges on whether or not God exists. If he didn’t exist, there would be no reason for anything other than your own pleasure in this short life. Even being kind in such a scenario is only for your own pleasure since there is no concrete basis for being “good.” If he does exist, then you should be doing everything to worship Him and align yourself with His divine plan and purpose.

@@wolflarson71 Are they really? Many of them are liars, thieves, adulterers, etc. according to God’s law. Many are in fact full of malice and envy. In Christianity there is the concept that all have sinned against the supreme power in the universe. But if the supreme power doesn’t exist then there is neither need to worry about wrongdoing eternally, making everything permissible so long as someone cannot prevent you from doing it, nor is there real purpose outside of what your own mind conjures up.

Logic demands that only one religion can be valid.
God acknowledges the presence of imaginary deities. The first commandment is:
Exodus 20:3
"You shall have no other gods before me."
All religions have differing accounts of the origin of the universe, the nature of God, and what he has or has not said. Therefore, the law of non-contradiction is all that is necessary to understand that only one of them can be true.
Furthermore, God knows he gave logical minds to mankind.
So, he does not spend any effort trying to disprove things that every man already knows are logically impossible.
Logic most certainly does not demand that only one religion is valid. The fact is they all have bits and pieces that are correct. The problem is when mankind starts believing its own bowlshit, then starts adding all kinds of crap rules basically putting handcuffs on humans capability of understanding God. Acting like only one religion has it right is very narrow minded.

If faith/supernatural are defining elements of religion/god, then discussion is pointless since nothing can ever be proven or disproven because science and reason can't be applied.

If Vivek can get in office and not slander God by being a fake Christian, or swearing in on a blasphemous Jefferson Bible, we'll have a chance for him to do right. God can use pagan kings for good but he won't bless (theological) adulterers claiming to be his own, he'll curse that every time.
I love the Jefferson Bible. It removes falsehoods that some people believe. I understand it makes some people angry. Vote for Mike Pence instead. He will make you sit in a trench in Ukraine.
