    It's been said here already, but worth repeating, Joe's strength is allowing his guests to complete a thought without sensational interruptions. Most talk show hosts won't allow a guest to complete a sentence without interruption... no coherent thoughts allowed. Good work Joe, we appreciate you.

    What a blessing to see Dr. Jordan B. Peterson back on Joe Rogan. Grateful to see his health restored and back to full health sharing some new eye opening revelations that he has gained throughout the years. The most admirable part of his story is his continued growth in the process. So many people get stuck in their ways and are unable to continuously grow with the time and new information. Dr. Peterson shows that regardless of the age you are never too old to learn.

    Here’s what a conversation with Jordan Peterson is like……..
    A. Introduces Idea
    B. Explains a word or two in idea 1 in further detail
    C. Gives a story based upon the abstraction of those 1-2 words
    D. His brain goes off on a tangent related to an idea he had when telling the story and solving his own problem out loud.
    E. We find out D is not a tangent but actually another subpoint to C
    F. Repeats this whole process a few more times
    G. Wraps em the whole conversation bringing together the layering of all these points very precisely and strategically in one large narrative helping us realize he is not crazy and he did in fact have a point.

    • @KibyNykraft
      @KibyNykraft 2 роки тому +1

      Although it is often "G."in the case of JP yes; in this case he falls into the pit of not realizing that he doesn't understand that monotheism was built for the only sake of forming state hierarchy. Libertarian/conservative atheists (I guess we are mostly in Europe) have no problem understanding that; there would be no North korean commie dictatorship without monotheist cultism through history (like the pharaohs deified themselves, so did the NK ruler family). The step up from that to an invisible fantasy god isn't a large step. But it controls people.

      If you say so. Does he really wrap up the conversation with a "precise and strategic" narrative? I would say absolutely not. Hes a bore. Why can't he just explain things without going off on some silly dialogue that makes no sense when he could just explain an idea without all the BS? If you're really impressed by the way he teaches then you probably haven't listened to many really good teachers. He's somewhat of a fraud as far as I'm concerned.

    • @Ehiplays
      @Ehiplays 2 роки тому +102

      @@ScottH. makes no sense to you? 👀
      Also about your simple answer comment, there’s no simple answer to a complex question, why? Because often times, a simple answer giving as antidote to a complex question will be misunderstood!
      Also how should he then explain the totality of the idea without bringing up something to anchor it on?
      And again, why call him a bore? Just because you don’t like his method of teaching doesn’t make it any less interesting.
      There are people who think that cricket is more interesting to watch than soccer, or basketball, that doesn’t make them any less interesting!
      And finally if you want to call out someone or make a case about them, you should have logical reasons to do so, so you don’t come off as a hater or more bitter than your comment already let on.

      New Covenant Whole Gospel:
      Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him.
      He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth.
      Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
      Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by
      husband unto them, saith the LORD:
      Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
      Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
      Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
      Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart.
      Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
      Watch the UA-cam videos “The New Covenant” by Bob George, and David H.J. Gay.
      ================================
      Which baptism is a part of the salvation process, based on what the Bible says?
      What did Peter say below?
      Acts 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
      Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
      Act 11:17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
      Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised to New Covenant believers in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and is found fulfilled in Ephesians 1:13, and 1 John 2:27. Unfortunately, many modern Christians see water when they read the word "baptize" in the text. Based on the above, what is the one baptism of our faith found in the passage below? How many times is the word "Spirit" found in the passage, and how many times is the word "water" found in the passage?
      Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
      Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
      Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
      Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
      Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
      “baptize” KJV
      Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
      Mar_1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
      Luk_3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
      Joh_1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
      Joh_1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
      1Co_1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.

    Jordan is such an unusual person. As he speaks, his own thoughts are playing off of each other, so he's constantly deriving new understandings from his own notions tumbling around and through each other. You have to let him speak, even if it takes several minutes to complete a thought, and what you get at the end is often some amazing epiphany.

    This is genuinely one of the most profound ideas I've come across. In this sense, the content of what lies within the Bible becomes the LIVING word as we collectively digest it. As someone who does not identify as a Christian, but is wholeheartedly connected to an active and deeply connected experience of God/Grace, this idea resonates. I wonder if we can't also apply the notion that we are living out so many plot-lines these days, as so many of our works of fiction--their very story lines--are coming to fruition all around us. What a time to be alive. Co-creators in an ever expansive universe, our future hinging on the capacity of collective imagining.

The living word of scripture is designed to be truth with grace. Only our loving Father in heaven can give us both. I’m a Christian because Jesus Yeshua, came here to give me ultimate grace. I put all my hope and trust in His finished work on the cross because the truth is I will fail but He did not. Please open your heart to Jesus message of truth and grace. When Guttenberg invented the printing press his 1st book was the Bible, as we all know. Do you know what the 2nd one was ? It was a biography of Joseph of Arimathea. The man only mentioned once as the man who donated his own tomb for Jesus to be buried in. He was the Roman Empire's equivalent of the Minister of Mines. Having control over mining and shipping which transported ores and refined metals. So what, you ask. As a devout convert to Christianity he used his power to help Christians escape persecution and transported them to the far flung outposts of the empire. So when the Roman's destroyed Jerusalem ( 70 AD?) approximately 3 million Jews were killed. The road from Jerusalem to Rome was lined with crucified Jewish leaders who rebelled against Rome, but no Christian Jews because Joseph had taken them out of harms way. Thus Christianity was spread as far away as the Britain and Spain and other places far from it's origin in Jerusalem. A man worthy of honor, but little known today.

I don’t necessarily believe in everything in the Bible or even God for that matter but I understand it’s importance as a foundation of western society. For example:
      Tom prays to God:
      Father, all things are possible unto thee; BLESS ME WITH A BABY BOY: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
      Martin prays to God:
      Father, all things are possible unto thee; TAKE ME OUT OF DEBT BEFORE THE START OF NEXT YEAR: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.

      Father, all things are possible unto thee; MAKE ME RECOVER FROM MY INJURY BEFORE THE FINALS SO I CAN PLAY THE FINALS: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt.
      So the prayer in each case comes BEFORE one surrenders it to God. Just like in the case of Jesus. His prayer in the first place was that the Cup is TAKEN AWAY from him. The will of Jesus was that the Cup is TAKEN AWAY from him.

      This is the difference between a long-form show and your standard news talk show. They do 5 minute segments on those. You simply don't have the luxury of letting someone wander. If you've got 3 topics you want to discuss, you get about 90 seconds for each, including the time to frame the question. You have to interrupt if things go wrong. But with 3 hours, you can develop ideas more fully. It's a totally different experience. The reason we don't do much of it is that the media realized two things: 1) they can put more eyeballs on programs with shorter, simpler content and 2) they can sell more ads. They're businesses, so they made a business decision and it took podcasts to disrupt it. Jordan Peterson has a whole spiel on this. People are thirsty for deeper discussions. Here are some facts and may God Almighty guide our hearts to the truth and keep us steadfast always. Ameen.
      Muslims believe Jesus pbuh was a mighty messenger of God who submitted his will to Allah (God) and was only sent to the lost tribe of Israel not to the whole of humanity as even stated in parts of the bible.
      Jesus pbuh never once claimed to be God and say "worship me and 2 other deities im part of a trion God" anywhere in the bible (if that was the case wouldnt rationality dictate for him to make that openly clear and upfront?!!). The trinity's something that was added in the 4th century by church fathers who couldn't agree to add it in till then.
      Jesus pbuh was born of a miraculous birth (without a biological father) by the will of Allah (God) and was able to perform miracles by the permission of the Almighty as proof to the lost tribe of Israel that he is indeed a prophet of God sent to them to warn them to give up idolatry and mischief as did other prophets before him such as Moses pbuh who also performed miracles by the will and permission of the Almighty (He split the sea) and to worship One God alone without any partners.
      We Muslims believe that Adam pbuh is humanity's father and the first Muslim and prophet of God on earth, he was born of a more miraculous birth than Jesus pbuh (no father or mother).
      Islam means submission (also means peace) is not a new religion, its the religion of all previous messengers who all submitted and preached the same message which is to worship One God alone with no partners as Jesus pbuh said he did not come to abolish the law.
      Jesus pbuh worshipped God alone, did he not say "the father is greater than i" did he also not say "hear o Israel the lord OUR God is one"?!!.
      Jesus pbuh did not want to be killed or sacrificed for anyone's sins as it is Almighty God alone who can forgive any sin by accepting one's true repentance if he wishes as his mercy incompasses everything. Proof of that in the Garden of Gethsemane when Jesus pbuh fell to his face in prayer to Almighty Allah and asked: "please take this cup of suffering away from me". We Muslims believe Allah answered Jesus's prayer and saved him from his to be murderers by elevating him back up to heaven and what was on the cross was only made to appear to the criminals as such by the will of God. We also await his second coming where he will come to kill the anti christ, destroy the cross and affirm Islam and the Qur'an as the final revelation/legislation. He will marry and live a normal life till he dies.
      Proof of the coming of the prophet Mohamed pbuh is also mentioned in the bible where it says in John 16:12 "i have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
      [13] Howbeit when HE, the Spirit of truth (thats the prophet Mohamed pbuh, if you read his biography he was always known as the truthful one) is come, HE will guide you into all truth: for HE shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever HE shall hear, that shall HE speak: and HE will shew you things to come". That's exactly how our beloved prophet was pbuh.
      The Qur'an contains absolutely no contradictions. The bible has a multitude of contradictions and many versions in which youll find some ommited texts and books that the church fathers couldnt agree on as the original message of Jesus pbuh and language (Aramaic) was lost in translation centuries later in hebrew and greek and was heavily influenced by the pagan traditions of that time where some human and animal sacrifices often took place. The Jews reject Jesus pbuh completely and consider him an imposter hence why Juda betrayed him etc.. whether you believe it or not Islam and the Qur'an and the prophet Mohamed pbuh is true.
      Islam is the fastest growing religion on earth and insha'Allah (God willing) will be in the very near future as God's truth always prevails over falsehood no matter how hard people try to cover it.
      Christianity is dieing because the true message has been so diluted to fit people's worldly and life desires that no one cares to follow it, Christians don't follow the true teachings of Jesus pbuh, Muslims do. An example or two of that: Jesus pbuh used to fast 40 days of the year, He also never ate porc, drank alcohol or gambled yet a lot of Christians today do it openly, they follow Paul's message who abolished the law, not Jesus pbuh.
      Jesus pbuh never taught or ordained Christmas celebrations or having a lit up Christmas tree (it is considered paganism, even some famous u.s televangelists such as Pat Robertson in admit it but wont condemn it as it because they fear that might drive more christians away from Christianity, so hey who cares what God actually ordains right?! why not, its after all only just another innovation!!) Jesus pbuh was not born on the 25th of December its all pagan traditions introduced and innovated later on.
      Believing that Almighty God who created all things with his infinite knowledge and wisdom came down or had a son whom he sent to be killed by his own creation is in itself utter blasphemy and the most irrational disrespectful thing one can believe in, claim or imagine of an all powerful all wise all merciful Lord, it is the ultimate sign of weakness and injustice to Almighty God who's never weak, he also never ceases to exist and is not touched by death which only creation experiences, He is the ever living, self-sufficient, omnipotent and the reason why hell was created for the disbelievers, may Allah protect us from it. Ameen.
      Indeed such beliefs are of the devil who rebelled against his Lord and is to the son of Adam a clear enemy till the end of times.
      Compare that to what Islam (which is pure monotheism) represents and how much Almighty God is revearead and that argument falls apart.
      I Invite everyone to read the noble Qur'an with an open mind. Peace

    Me personally, I think the story of the gospel is beautiful....it’s the ultimate redemption story for someone who’s down in a hole and can’t seem to get out, there doesn’t seem to be any other agenda behind it other than true forgiveness

      And within the Bible is it’s core revelation that comes from Jesus
      “I AM the truth they way and the life”
      It’s the massive truth within the truth. He is essentially the lighthouse in the middle of all religions, he is the fundamental guide and reasoning that draws the line and confirms what the Torah was saying . He’s the confirmation and stamp of authority that came into the world physically as us to make it abundantly clear .
      And right now, people are trying to destroy the fact that truth is even objective . Now they are trying to say “personal truth , my truth”
      When people are willing to threw away a fundamental understanding that truth is beyond them , then they establish themselves as gods and givers of truth. You see this happen in cultures, they take away objective truth to make way for oppressive alternative fake “truths”. If you manage to convince people “truth” is a social construct and a thing decided by votes or coercion , then things will collapse, quickly . This is why you see the people lying so much now and manipulating, they have become lawless, no respect or believe in real truth, rather they want to decide what you believe . What you celebrate , what you get mad at, no path for redemption, only enemies , etc
      It’s inescapable that the Bible established inescapable reasoning. People will talk about new a ge stuff all the time. And “spirituality” when doing hallucinatory things, so they have no problem with spirituality or a God. They have a problem with the God of the Bible. Because it states he has a standard for people. If he had a standard to build all of reality to exact precision , why wouldn’t he also have a standard for people to do right and also give them guidelines? He’s telling you how to operate to be happiest, and it doesn’t inlove materialism.
      You see materialism and superficialness is what’s destroying people right now too. Coincidence? That when people disobey , they start to ruin themselves?
      He didn’t make basic rules to ruin people’s “fun” he made basic rules because if you start operating in a way other than what you were created, your mistakes will ruin you.
      The Bible is a warning .
      It’s main warning is to be aware of deception . He’s the manufacture , he knows how this thing is supposed to work, people just don’t want to accept they aren’t in total control, because people are arrogant

Nothing about a magic man in the sky. Don't end up being one of the ones who will stand before him in judgement to their utter destruction. Good luck dealing with that. Today is the day.
