If there was any injury, could the captain be held liable? Let us know where you're watching from? 🌎
Hi, I'm watching from Russia.
Here in the Netherlands all boats that go faster than 20kmh or are longer than 20meters need to be registered and get a license plate number on both sides (painted/stickers to a certain minimum size). If this were to happen here the police could charge them based on the video.
This guy definitely needs to be talked to by law enforcement. Or suspended license for a while.
Yes he is 100% liable for his stupidity!!
I watching from a rickety Eames EA 119 and live in the precursor to paradise.
@@yoeri4804 Do only the boats have to have a number or do the caravans attached to the boats also have to?
Ive seen a lot of dumb shit on this channel, but this takes the cake!
It’s Florida. Don’t try to start telling me what is right and wrong! Lol!
they breed em tough
Have to forward this to CPS and see what they think
That kid up front nearly slib right in off the bow-sprit
I am i licensed Captain, 100 ton Master, and an embalmer with over 40 years experience. I have unfortunately seen first hand what happens when a child falls off a bow and is sucked into a propeller. PLEASE, Never let kids ride on the bow of a power boat!!!!!!!
whats the relevance of being an embalmer??
The callous disregard for the safety of those children is appalling
I’m not concerned either
Captain should absolutely be charged with felony child endangerment!
Probably not an actual licensed captain. You didn't need a captains license to operate a private vessel in Florida. He should be charged by the Coast Guard for recklessly endangering those kids though.
100% agree
I agree!
Disagree... I did that all the time as a kid and teen... never a problem as long as you are holding on. Plus you can't charge someone based upon what ***might happen*** but based upon what DID HAPPEN
chärge yör itch möthörrce yänkce lövvjährce ´vFv

Absolutely that Captain should be charged with child endangerment. I hope a UA-cam channel does a follow up on this please.
Don't hold your breath about YT doing any such thing. They're more concerned about inappropriate language in the Comments section. Violators must stand in the corner for 24 hours 🙄.
And there are numerous marine violations as well. Child endangerment is the BIG one!
@@acreguy3156 actually they don't care about inappropriate language, they care about not towing big brother's line.
@@SaintFredrocks You got that right, Saint 👍!
They got those kids throwing trash overboard. This is way worse.
The little ninja on the very front had no idea he was hanging on for his life
Video needs to be seen by coast guard
CHILDREN on the bow of a boat without LIFE PRESERVERS?
Hector lives life with his kids as guinea pigs.
NO competent 'captain' would leave the dock unless ALL minors had donned life preservers!
Very few lifejackets on anyone. Rampant anti-safety culture
Called darwinism.
@@o9rgeronimo979 Nope. He already bred
4:20 That doesn’t look like an “expensive repair” per se, just a poorly done or damaged wrap that’s peeling off. At the very end you can see edges of it fluttering in the wind.
I guess with all those kids maybe they thought the could afford to lose 1 or 2 of them 😅
I thought it's illegal to have any body part over the gunnel while the vessel is in motion anyway. Not that this captain has any braincells.
It is
kid almost slipped out at 1:10????
thought he was gonna get a new hole from dropping onto the anchor but that's one lucky kid
Maybe that’s why that part was replayed in slow motion
also he nearly slammed his head against the rail
When you find out you are not the father
lmao
😂😂😂THAT is funny !!!
😅
So dark but so funny 😂
Of all the children?
My 11 y/o once ask me if he can bow ride and i show picture of people injured by the propellers of the boat and he never ask again for bow ride
Are you an propeller-hater?
Wouldn’t that be a stern ride?
To be fair - my dad is a great captain & I got to ride on the bow of the boat, but only in flat water going 5 mph with very strict rules.
This is just criminal child endangerment
WOW!😮The poor kid at the bow was technically overboard briefly! He was lucky to have been pulled back aboard rather than run over and very likely injured or killed by the propellor and the Krazy Kaptain couldn’t avoid it at that point! 😢
People should be heavily reprimanded for the children. About the Pardo design, looks innovative. It being tall and shaped to where the water sprays out rather than up and in the boat. Well thought-out design.😎
No life jackets, bow riding...this captain should absolutely be fined
Dont call him captain Frankie
Arrested.
Capt Braindead
I am thinking the Captain with the kids not wearing PFDs must be a daycare owner and they are taking the kids out on a field trip of Russian Roulette.
Growing up on the Great Lakes this is absolutely stupid! As a young man we watched as some kids were doing exactly the same thing heading out of a channel into Lake Michigan. One boy fell off the front and sadly he found the propellers and was killed instantly. This guy should be charged!
I just wish “captain” and mom had a little common sense and realize how close those kids, especially the one who almost slipped off the front of the boat, came to being seriously injured or worse.
4:56 How boats are drawn on paper VS How boats really are 😂
Cool shots of that Pardo slicing through the wave at 5:13!
Those are the latest in invisible life jackets on those kids……
I think the Pardo boat is a prime example of form over function. It is stylish, but the bow doesn't seem to have enough volume or flare.
...and they're epically ugly.
Agreed
They look very sharp at anchor/docked.. MM
Might be the ugliest boat I have ever seen.
actually the design is from sailing yatchs ..probably not fit for purpose going those these inlets at high speed, but it looks like they held their own ..and very stable
And I seriously dought that he has 8 child sized PFDs onboard
Doubt*
Fined? I believe he could actually go to jail for child endangerment! What a disgrace!
In Michigan it would be. My Dad got a ticket for this on an inland lake and we where just moving about 5 mph.
Same in Illinois.
@@MichaelLewandowski-i8g same in Massachusetts
Same in Kansas
This is nuts and illegal. I am on the Gulf side in FL and was pulled over and given a warning by the Charlotte County Sheriff for have two adults sitting on the bow of my boat with their feet hanging overboard - I was motoring very slow in a no wake zone in an canal. The Sheriff told that me that in the FL boat handbook is the following language: "The operator would be deemed negligent for operating under the following, excessive speed for the prevailing conditions, operation in exclusion areas, or positioning oneself or passengers on the vessel’s bow while underway in an area not intended to accommodate passengers (bow riding). Bow riding does not include those times during docking, anchoring, or handling sails, when it is otherwise advisable to wear a life jacket on an open bow area." It further states "While underway in a vessel under power, do not ride on the bow, gunwale, transom, or in any position which is obviously dangerous. Riding on or hanging over the bow can interfere with stability and may restrict the operator’s visibility. No operator of a vessel under power shall allow any person to be on a decked-over bow of such vessel while underway unless the bow of the vessel is equipped with a handrail that encompasses the bow, and all persons on the bow are inward of such handrail."
Not one person on that boat has a life jacket on!!!
Not one person ended up needing one either.
@@TxChristopher till you do... they got lucky. and i dont care how strong you think you are a swimer you cant swim if your not alert and aware all it takes is hitting your head on way over board and your done. i used to do long distance open water swimming when i was younger and ALWAYS had PFD on in a boat. its just like a seat belt in your car
This is the definition of a credit card captain
Not ever credit card captains are that stupid!
Not a single life jacket in sight? Credit card captain should be charged with reckless child endangerment and reckless operation of a vessel.
respect to the drone cats! 💪🏽
My fav yacht is the Berring 70, it's perfect size for living aboard & is capable of transatlantic crossings with a range of about 4500 NM.
This is a master class in how to turn a fun afternoon of boating into a felony child endangerment charge if not manslaughter
If you have that many kids you can afford to lose a few 😂
I grew up in Florida, west coast Clearwater and Naples. Calm waters compared to this. I really enjoy your videos from Pennsylvania where I live now at 75 years and feeling good. Never in my entire life have I seen someone so careless with children. That location is no place for kids, sitting on the bow that way is terrible, and no life jackets breaks my heart. If you can afford a boat like that, you can afford life jackets. I hope the Captain is fined. My Dad would call that sheeet for brains.
This needs to be a random event in GTA 6 haha
The first captain did that stunt only to raise Bronco's blood pressure. I heard he watched all the previous videos from the Inlet and wanted to make one for the highlight reel.
The first vid. Omg the kid in red trick just about aboit went under the boat. He managed to hand on and haul himself back up.. had an angel looking out for him. Cause the mom and dad sure were not.. criminal.
With all the videos from Wavy or others showing negligent or seriously unsafe boats leaving the channel, it would seem that you could place a "boat cop" of any enforcement agency at the right spot and have a conversation with any cap of observed safety issues before heading into the surf. They'd be busy all day. Then no one would be in the position of having charges or loss of life. That cap would never have been able to avoid the kids with his props. I've seen it up close and it's an awful sight.
That first boat is f'ing crazy with those kids!
4:20 That doesn’t look like an “expensive repair” per se, just a poorly done or damaged wrap that’s peeling off. tv the very end you can see edges of it fluttering in the wind.
That's what I was thinking. Just a poor wrap job.
That is insane!
Regarding the hull design, I like the water being sprayed up and away from the boat. Normally I would go for a sexier boat but this one appears to do what we all want and that is to enjoy our boats whenever possible and to be safe.
It’s one thing to chop up your own kids with your boat propellers but are the parents of your kid’s friends aware of your insane behaviour?
Not paint vinyl wrap not good either
Come on now, those kids are fine, they just have to hang on tight LOL
@5:21 pardo had a flashback of his days on a U-Boat.....thought he was gonna dive and try and sink a CruiseShip......lol🤣
looks like wrap on the blue boat that came off
I'm watching from Fort Myers Florida and am an avid boater. When I was a much younger man back on Long Island, my buddy and I were out on the boat with a couple of fun-loving gals who were riding on the bow rail topless, much the same way on those kids were, except we were going idle speed in a very calm cove. We were approached by a Bay Constable and I proceeded to tell him that we would have the girls put their tops back on. He said that wasn't an issue at all but that it was dangerous for them to be riding on the rail like that, they had to come down, and he just gave me a warning. Even at idle speed, it can be dangerous, it's not legal, and besides the boater safety issue with that guy, he was endangering the safety of minors, which I believe is an arrestable offense.
Not a life jacket in sight! That should be endangerment!
Look at MOMA holding on for dear life . What's she going to do if one or more kids go Overboard..
it is gratifying that the safety concept is, as usual, at a very high level!
That day was so fun
So impressive. The ship glides on the water. It's very enjoyable to watch
Did Anyone Else Notice When They Came Back into the inlet.... they had 2 kids missing from the Bow...
When you got seven kids and there's two missing, that's not a bad deal. Save a little money on food there. 😅
Two kids had moved inside the cabin including the one who lost his grip on the bow of the boat.
@@stacykjk Way To Go Einstein!!! You Just Messed UP A Perfectly Good HIT-JOB On The Father OF The Year Award!!!
wow Amazing captain good time tanks
3:48 The paint didn't ripped off - the boat is just peeling.
Mexican family with 10 boys
That's quite racist, as I suspect you are.
This should be called "THE MORE MONEY THAN BRAINS" channel.
Turn up the Mariachi music.
Favorite Yacht? Nothing goes through a nasty day at Haulover better than the big Ferretti that has been shown on this channel before. That ship owns Haulover.
They look like they may be international tourists.... did mom do a head count when they returned to port? 😂
The more I watch, the more realize these people have more money then sense.
Not a lifejacket in sight either. Nice.
That's just fun for kids and great souvenirs. I did that last year with a smaller boat
Kids are not only in danger of falling off to the sea, but spine injury from hitting their butts on the deck is also super real. I loved riding the bow of dads boat too, but after one bad landing i figured its not worth risking spinal injury
Completely NUTS ! ! !
Give em some money and they go hog wild. That kid in red was inches from becoming chum!!!
it's perfectly fine, it appears he has kids to spare...
It's called freedom.
I'm sure they're used to boat rides like that.
LMAO
He should definitely be charged by police. That is absolutely ridiculous
that person should be arrested
Kid hanging on to that guard stanchion harder than Bronny James hanging on to his daddy's co-tails! lol
My thoughts on the Pardo haul design is it's a Throwback to a Tried and True design. Thanks WB for the great coverage always enjoyable
My favorite yacht is an Grabner Mustang de Luxe, powered by MAN.
Mom gives thumbs up that she believes that all the kids made it through without any loss of life.... this time 😮
The Pardo style is one of my favorites
What fun, being a kid in florida riding on the bow of a boat. Hand on tight.
At 4:00, that's not paint, it's just some "wrap" material that came off. Nothing structural. Captain Keith Tight Lines
damn thats risky as all get out... kids probably had a blast tho
Looks like fun to me but hey i grew up in an age where we rode with out seat belts in the back of the station wagon making faces at the driver behind us 😂
That first one...holy shit. That front kid was about six inches away from his last ride. Damn right that captain should get in trouble for allowing that. I swear people just seem to throw their brains out the window on a boat.
I like the Pardo. It reminds of the Zumwalt boondoggle.
That's some 80's parenting right there
Even my parents, who let us do plenty that have people today shrieking in horror, didn't let us do this. However I will say that when we went sailing in the bay and were under way under sail with no motor in the water, we'd sometimes sneak over to the low side and hang our legs off. They always caught us though because it caused a ton of drag, and screamed at us pretty good. We also always had to wear life jackets even though we'd all learned to swim in the bay and Gulf of Mexico practically before we could walk. This was also in the 80s.
Dude almost became propeller food
It's amazing that people like this can vote.
perfect fun no dangerous
Almost unbelievable!! 😮
Proving Once Again... When Seconds Count... Cops Are Always Minutes Away!!!... That's why Our boat insurance is so damn High!!!...🤬🤬
Did he stop by an orphanage? Geez, man, let her up! 😅😂
This shows how that new saying goes. Some of us are built different/tougher lol 😎
Gotta arrest that one for child endangerment
The Captain is recklessly endangering the lives of those children and should be charged if Florida has that statute?
Lighten up, Francis. He's teaching them a valuable life lesson: HOLD ON!
That young man was almost chopped bait!
Sure hope that "captain" knows how many kids he's got!! Could be missing some if he continues on like this.....
So much for that wrap.
