I love the ridges on top, reducing face contact. Not many razor companies think of that. I have had issues with razor caps suctioning to my face, breaking up my shave.
Interesting Razor design. I'm curious how the blade holder doesn't move and if it ever did it could rip your face apart. There is obviously a reason other companies haven't used a magnetic top before this one. Interesting review either way. In regards to non blocking razor, try a Henson AL13 if you haven't already.
@Nigelhunt8275 Great point! That part of the design was a big question mark for me as well. These are very strong magnets in place holding the blade holder, even with that growth, it was sitting nice and firm. I believe this is the 2nd and improved version of the razor.
There is not obviously a reason why other companies haven't used a magnetic top before this one, that is fallacious thinking. Besides that, other razors are using magnets now, such as the Leaf Twig & thorn and the Parker Solo Edge.
@@drytool The twig uses magnets to hold the blade but the cap is still a twist mechanism to ensure it’s firmly closed back… the proof razor just depends 100% on the magnets for the blade and top cap both. The magnets here are really solid ✌🏼😎
@@allydz I've watched a couple videos of people shaving with proof razor now and they all say the same. I think the magnets are a brilliant idea. I have some neodymium magnets lying around and they are very difficult to pull apart when they are stuck together. I usually have to slide them off each other sideways.
@@drytool for sure mate. I’ve got to say it doesn’t take me long to detach and move on a different razor normally but some you just want to keep using everyday. Proof is one of those for me 💈
That's an amazing razor you got there Allydz. You could had trimmed down the hair and then shave that is what I do.I hope Geofatboy doesn't sue you for doing his clear runways dialogue 😂😂
Thanks Joy. I keep some length as some razors actually pass the test. About uncle Geo, I just love and admire him bro. Doubt the shaving god is gonna come after mere mortals like me 🤣🤣
@@drytool this depends on the individual who sees the same inefficiency. My DE razor cuts the hair away with one stroke. So it is much much more efficient than the razor in the video.
@@WS1965-GE I definitely pushed the limit with the length of my stubble, so I wouldn't recommend it to someone who shaves once every 4-5 days or more. From an efficiency POV, think it's designed more for individuals that have sensitive skin in mind cuz it's super mild. I would recommend this to a daily shaver in a heartbeat. This also is a great starting point for individuals who are nervous to make the switch from carts ✌️🙂
@@WS1965-GE Whose hair and when? Different people have different hair coarseness, shave with different frequency, and have different skin types. I think even the humidity levels in the air can make a difference from shave to shave, not to mention what blade is put in the razor, so how can you look at one guy shaving on one particular day with one particular blade and make a judgement that is meaningful?
@@drytool Hello Drytool, you can see an answer from the video creator. He also says that the razor is a mild razor and that confirms my opinion. Maybe you can make the razor more aggressive with a Feather blade but with the delivery condition the razor is less efficient or mild. Have a good one W.
Such a great review! So aesthetically pleasing!
Thanks @Vanessa
Amazing review Aly Dz. I never knew so much detail contained in a razor. Magnets and all, wow. Loved it.
@Benedictafernandes2142 Thank you 🙏🏼

@drytool.... Thanks for watching. I believe the first version didn't have the ridges but this 1 does.
Great review of the proof razor. The video explains it very well.
@greenerick thanks bud. Glad you liked it 💈👍

I think 120 dollars for a razor is too expensive.
Not if it’s the only handle someone needs for life ✌🏼😊
Then stay with cartridges
Bloody ell
No, because it will last a lifetime.
Now it comes in a really nice leather case for the same price.
I shimm it the hole week and it worx🎉
Agreed mate. That was the first time I used it. Getting used to it now and I’m gonna say it definitely gets better with practice.

I was born in Mumbai, India, I’m Australian.

Better shave than say a Gillette ProGlide?
@Michaeldproject That sounds like a good comparison video
@@allydz That would make for a great comparison video.
@@michaeldproject I will get on to it within the next 3 videos 😎✌🏼
nope theres a lot of effort to that shave .. it's just not taking that hair away .. shame was looking to buy one of these ..
@@flearider6964 yea this razor is not for growth that’s 3-4 days+, for daily and head shaves… I recon this is one of the best.
This razor seems not very effective…
How useful do you think your comment is with all the variables involved?
