Great comparison review Ally👏 and great demo of good shaving technique and a fellow tuber used to say "it's shaving not digging". One good thing about the Gillette Fusion range of carts is the carts are interchangeable throughout the range, I prefer to use the two bladed Skin-Guard carts in my power handle and I agree the power shave is better. Wonderful review, Most shaving channels dunk on cartridge razors, it is nice to see someone genuinely review and explain the technique needed to get a proper cartridge shave. Appreciate the tip about trimming your hair to 0.1mm to reduce irritation and the pulling. I'm going to try DE shaving because I have sensitive skin.

Cheers Ryan. Yea some of them hate carts with a passion. Shaving with a DE definitely helped me improve my technique and when applied to a cart, they elevated my overall shave experience. Hi Ally, I have a question. I read that the skinguard cartridges (blades) are compatible with 3 razor handles - fusion 5 proglide, fusion 5 and skinguard. It seems to me that the fusion 5 proglide has certain upgrades over the skinguard handle, one of which is the flexiball. So, would it be wise to buy the fusion 5 proglide and use it with skinguard cartridges? Or skinguard with skinguard cartridges? Assuming the cost difference is negligible.

I would find it hard to believe that any of these razers wouldn't (new) give a great shave. I dont want the most expensive (to pricey) & dont want the cheapest (nicks & cuts) so I went (this time) with the Gillette ProGlide Men's Razor. I dont order razors online only in store and 90% of the time @ Walmart and paid $18.33 razor and 2 cartridges out the door for it, and the (4pack) refills come to $5.09 per cartridge and there are 3 different cartridges to choose from. When I tried the power version of the Fussion I didn't see much of a difference from when it was on or off at least not enough to want to spend the money on batteries. Im 62 so I have tried a few over the years and believe any five blade (new & price is right) cartage with pivoting head will do just fine.

I have heard that there's an aggressive version of that which is called the Thorn and I think you will like that. In India that razor Costs Rs 18000 which is so expensive 😅 if I was made of Money then it was no problem

I'm a girl who uses only Gillette! 😊🌷 It is way gentler with my skin than girls razors!!! 😟 I don't know why, but I keep finding that girls razors, even "good quality" ones, are far more irritating. 🤔 Ps: I use the yellow one, so with this video I understood why is gentler. 💛

@sheilarodriguezreyes5992 Thank you for sharing your experience. You are the 2nd gal sharing a similar story, well I’m glad you found what works. I am asking my wife to try the single edge razors now as they are effective and very gentle on the skin too ✌🏼😎. I’m gonna be doing a review on a razor called the twig soon, also would suggest look at the One Blade core review and Proof Razor review 👍🏼

Very good review. you got a new subscriber^^ I use booth Gilette and Wilkinson Sword for Shaving my head. Not everything is available here in Germany but i got my hands on the black and gold edition Gilette Labs and will try this razor for my head shave. ATM mostly using Wilkinson Hydro 5 skin protection sensitive and the Gilette Proglide . Both very good for headshave sometime the Hydro 5 for my sensitive Skin better but this depends on the week. if you want i tell my experience here with the Labs :) The heated labs is interesting but damn 65 Euro= 107 Australian Dollar in Sale is heavy...

What’s a G3? I tried looking it up and couldn’t find it. Also about the rubber on any handle to melt, I hope it’s kept in a cool dry place. If it’s in the shower, it’s obvious then.

This is an extra long BS video lacking real conclusions. If you had a spine, you would have concluded that a G Labs will give you a closer shave. Why you did not say that but you felt compelled to make a dumb and dull endless video, is beyond me. You already said that it is and upgraded version and that it has better blades. You need to try being and electtician perhaps instead, because being a youtuber isnt working for you. You suck!❤
