Thank you so much both of you. There is so much bad stuff going on everywhere but at least there is a break from keeping abreast of all of that to listen to these wonderful arrangements from Praetorius to bring some solace. The world just cannot be all bad when there is music and such wonderful musicians.
You Tube recommended your channel to me several months ago. I immediately subscribed because after hearing only one performance, I was in love. Thank you so much for sharing your talent. When I'm sad and (most of the time) alone, it brings me so much joy. And, it also inspires me to paint. So, thank you very much and I pray all the best for you and your brother Tom, who obviously is very gifted.
Bravo!! Wonderful sound and masterly playing. You join Seitze de Vries and a few select others who play the Courante at a realistic dance tempo. To newly married couples; give tired old Widor a rest and dance back down the aisle to this superb Courante, inviting others to join in as you leave!
Bravo! Perfect music for that organ. I spent many happy services in the choir singing to that instrument in its capacity as the chancel organ, and almost as many in duet with the mighty West end Walker with my dear friend the late Hugh Davies. He, of course, was instrumental in getting the Bevington organ installed at Kendal after its "depping" duties at St Asaphs during their rebuild. So nice to hear it so expertly played again...brought tears to my eyes. Thank you, both if you.
My first girlfriend was a massive fan of Praetorius. Brings back memories of when we used to sit in her university room listening to his music, on a cassette player (can anyone even remember what they are?)
I think it is a good idea to hear compositions made by composers not so "in fashion". English it is not my first language and i hope you can understand what i want to say. Thanks from Brazil.
Hello Jonathan, I did some research on your very accomplished career! I read about the many music transcriptions that you have written as well as some of the honors you have received. I enjoy your performances and look forward to your future music video. Stay well, Will Ortiz

Absolutely, always a thrill! 🎹♥️♥️🎹🎹
The Scott Brothers keep my heart and soul fed.
So true.
The Courante would make a great recessional for a wedding.
You are making my day wonderful!

Hard to beat simple things done so well! More Scott perfection 🙏🏻

That organ is perfect for such music. I’ve always loved ‘Dances from Terpsichore’ - wish we could have heard all of them!
Sounds similar to Lo Ballo Del Intorica by Antonio Valente.
Well played Jonathan, a true Maestro of the organ

Excellent interpretation of the dances From Terspsichore !!!
The Cornopean has quite some bite, tremendous stop, perfectly voiced.
Bravo! Perfect music for that organ.

Praetorius seems to work on all kinds of instruments. John Williams did a great guitar transcription of the Courante too :)
Fantastic!
Delightful

Oh, XX
I believe you’d make a truly wonderful transcription of the Polovtsian Dances from Prince Igor!
He has done a transcription for organ and piano and uploaded it already on this channel

'Refreshing' doesn't do it justice.
Please excuse my ignorance, could someone tell me what the abbreviation 'TC' means on the Gt. Claribel & Dulciana?
It means that the pipes only play from Tenor C upwards.
@@ianrichardson8865 Thank you 👍
