Would love to have one of these. I remember in the 90's you could buy a frame from a couple different manufacturers and an engine and assemble a bike and race in the 500 class. There were a few privateers back then that did and it was a glorious time for sure.

@@ducaduke In the USA They TZ Yamahas were race bikes only Grey in 1974 just like my 1974 Yamaha YZ-80-A was.. My friend sold a TZ-350 a few years ago. I told him to call me if he wanted to sell it but he sold it to a Local Repair shop Dealer.
@@stevewilson204 Yes I know that. I have a Brochure of the 1974 Yamaha Line up .. that year in the USA the TZ-'s were grey as was my YZ-80-A. It turns out they only sold about 200 TZ's of each displacement in the USA for Homologations purposes. The TZ-'s did not have lights and were not street legal you are correct. I have a 1984 Yamaha RZ-350 it had Catalytic converters on it .. In most of the rest of the world Yamaha sold the LC-350 which was similar to my RZ-350. Maybe did not have the same Bikini fairing on them .

I agree with. I actually am dying to find one to buy. But that was a street legal bike. Not a race ready 😊.
