- Deidara is known by many Naruto fans as one of the most explosive members of the Akatsuki, blowing up his enemies using his jutsu and debating Sasori about what true art is. However, just how strong is Deidara? Where does he rank in the Akatsuki? Just how much more powerful is Deidara than we believe? Yeah, I'm often dissappointed when characters die in the same arc that they're introduced in. Deidara had a good amount of screentime and had 2 proper fights (Gaara and Sasuke) but Sasori only had one. It also sucked that Sasori was the second Edo to get taken down. I have a feeling Kishi wasn't very fond of Sasori.

@@jorgerico918 Yea in the anime they shouldve showed all the akatsuki initiation fights like konan vs sasori, sasori vs orochimaru and pain vs kakazu. In the akatsuki movie on youtube they show the outcome and maybe the opponents running and stuff. And they shouldve showed hidan vs orochimaru if that applies. The akatsuki arc is one of my favorite arcs. In those fights I'd say Konan beats Sasori Mid Difficulty. I believe she had more jutsus up her sleeve than what we saw when she faced tobi. Why didn't she show those feats. Why didnt we see like the rest of kakashi's 993 jutsus? Why didn't we see Orochimaru display all of his discovered jutsus( he knew all five chakra natures!) Orochimaru beats Sasori Mid Difficultuly! Kakuzu beats Kakuzu High difficulty. And Orochimaru beats Hidan Mid Difficulty( I believe Hidan had more up his sleeve) Him and Orocjimaru fighting styles would mesh very well in my opinion. Also I wish we would've seen more of Orochimaru's time in the akatsuki. I believe he was in it for like a year. So much more they could've done with naruto! Just my opinions/thoughts!

Not even plot armor included but there are a thousand ways they can stop that, for 1 if they were able to launch tsunade in the sky she might be able to saitama the bomb because she is astronomically stronger than it ☠️. If you are talking about the nano bombs there are also many ways to handle that. First off the leaf have many sensory ninja so they can detect when someone tries to enter the leaf who isn’t a villager, so they would handle deidara before he can even do anything (kakashi and many other jonnin would slide him right away) depending on the time and who is in the village. If tsunade comes out she would fuck deidara’s shit up TO DA MAX on some big Jah type shit. The leaf is overall one of the worst villages you wanna attack, even orochimaru knew better (oro is definitely stronger than deidara as well) than to just walk in the village straight up and do as he pleases, attacking the leaf no matter who the hokage is takes either immense planning or be pain because ya know he is pain.

correction- deidara stole a 'kinjutsu' actually, it's a forbidden jutsu and the kinjutsu that he was stolen is a kinjutsu that is able to made him grow up mouths on his hands and the biggest one in his chest to create explosive clay sculptures. but he did possesed a kekkei genkai which is an explosion release. but yes the rest of it are right, he was a member of the explosion corps in his village and was admired by his incredible skills even by the tsuchikage ohnoki himself, the youngest member to join akatsuki, and ofc yes he is very smart at any aspects.

That just means he did have the energy to stand, deidara assumed he couldn’t but it’s very likely that he could have. Also using ocular genjustu takes no time at all and sasuke at this point can weave hand seals fast as fuck so him being able to summon manda isn’t that crazy. Not to mention that manda was actually hit by the explosion and died which means sasuke didn’t de summon him faster than the explosion could hit manda just faster than it could incinerate manda and by extension himself. Also it would be plot armor not asspull, your entire comment is misinformation lmao.

Deidara and Sasori. My favorite characters in movies/anime EVER! Deidara is so AWESOME and Sasori is so COOL!
So much so, that I created small hand made clay puppets out if them and I keep them in a plexiglass container along with my other favorite characters, Hector Barbarosa, and Hermione Granger.
I have an incredible talent for making clay sculptures and painting them. Sorta like Deidara, and it's one of the many reasons I love his style!

The thing that bothered me was Deidara's left eye which is a genjutsu counter was not made to counter even a single Genjutsu .
Also he was not made to use C3 .
But u have to appreciate the fact that Deidara became so popular in the limited time he had in the series .

Plot made Sasuke not copy 1000 jutsu like Kakashi well for those fights, Sasuke was either saved by someone else after losing, or they didn’t try to kill him after beating him. In Deidara’s case, nobody would’ve come after Sasuke, and Deidara definitely would’ve tried to kill him no matter what.

Sure Deidara was cocky but his only goal was to finish Saduke off, so Deidara would’ve won (while still being dead) if that Sasuke surviving ass pull didn’t happen. That’s what its like to lose only because the enemy is one of the 2 biggest main characters...

If I remember right it was actually established in the manga they had that set up way before the deidara fight it was just something they had planned for the Itachi fight IF I remember right lol. I THINK I dont fully remember but instead ended up using it for Deidara. The anime makes it seem more of a last minute about to die asspull thing. I'll have to look at that chapter again though.

Deidaras C4 Karura Jutsu is easily a top 5 jutsu in the series.
Its up there with rasen shuriken amateratsu and kirin

I feel like his entire character was "Deidara is genuinely extremely OP and is one of the strongest ninjas to ever exist, but ultimately EYE HAX is even stronger than him" and it was intentionally written that way because Kishimoto wanted to drive home the point that eye hax is very, very important in the series.
I just realized that the dude's fire power is on the same level as the shines tensei pain used to level the leaf village

ehhh i think sasuke controlled his fight with Deidara. Sasuke stated it was a mismatch from the start because of his lightening style based attacks and his ability to identify where the landmines, and minibombs where with his sharingan. The sword was ment to test if his lightening style defused the bombs. He always knew where they were i believed. He even said he went to great length to test his hypothesis. This drove Deidara to try and do a suicide bomb to secure the "dub".
The fact that it was a draw is a testament to Deidara's strength.
I wished the author explored more of deidara's backstory too bad he was killed too early 😢😢
I think deidaras power is very overlooked is anyone talking about how he literally trained one of his eyes to counter the sharingan?
He also has great taijutsu skills. He fought team gai without his hand only using taijutsu, also team gai is best at taijutsu skills among konoha 11.

People truly forget one of the craziest things about deidara, he’s one of the youngest shinobi in the the series. Deidra was nowhere near his prime and defeated a tailed beast and gaara.

@Plot made Sasuke not copy 1000 jutsu like Kakashi plot ... made kakashi start staggering after using kamui 1 time in the kages summit arc. That scene was funny as hell.

C0 is a fucking S-class ninjutsu that require A LOT OF CHAKRA,and then he used with low chakra.

I’ve been saying that Deidara is arguably smarter and stronger than a prodigy in sasuke, he’s just unfortunate that sasuke has sharingan and lightning release. Like you said they fought to a stalemate despite sasuke having all the advantages, so what does that say about Deidara? If it was a non-Uchiha, they would have lost. I guess a Hyuga with lightning release could win too but highly unlikely, since sasuke is a prodigy
