Here is a song that Koch Media, the maker of the video game "Outward", commissioned us to write and perform called "Outward - The Adventure's Tale!" We hope you enjoy it:).
Been playing this game awhile now it's really fun. The way you use magic is more like science experiment and makes it super interesting. Would recommend this game for sure.
lol, kinda? It's a tough game. Think Soulsborne lite with a bit of survival crafting and a touch of RPG character progression. It's fun, but it can be hard as nails at times.
It's a good game. Could be better in a few places, but overall, it was a good experience. I hope we see an Outward 2 soon that improves on all the good in the first game.
I'm so happy you scored this gig for "Outward", I saw it on the PS5 store before I saw it here on Facebook, and my first idea was: "Hey this sounds like Clamavi!"
Color me surprised to see a song written about Outward. I've played that game, or rather I should say *I've experienced it*. I've wandered those lands and I fought those monsters. The game is built around wanderlust and with such a small team (I think a dozen workers at the studio who made it), it is an experience like no other. Within a flash, I alone could feel awe-struck wonder, fearful curiosity, and blood-pounding adrenaline to fend off terrifying monsters alone in the dark. I recommend this game for that exploration. That itch. It's great to walk through the world with a friend, and coop makes the game much easier, but there's something so great about the primal fear of knowing I'm outnumbered and in someone, or something's, else's domain. Play with a friend, or be both cautious and wise in leveraging everything you can to continue the path. Oh, and I love this song too!
Is it like Eliatopia, when I first entered the Nature factory? That moment a player was just farming, and I run into a hive of different kinda monsters in an armor I should've upgraded 2-3 times. I could still literally carve the way between mandrakes, claystones, and drones. Then once I thought I died into an NPC's slap during a cutscene I triggered. (The truth was that I've got burned to death by a mandrake. Don't even ask... That was a bold move.)
I love writing original songs as fanart for games. I had a blast doing The Valheim Journey. Awesome to see you've been commissioned to do just that. That'd be like a dream come true!
This game makes you feel like a normal guy against a deadly but awesome fantastic enviroment. Diligence and perseverance are the keys to success. The coop is awesome too.
Wooot! The perfect thing to listen to while playing the game. Been loving the definition edition, and this song couples marvelously with it. Thank you all as always with the great work you produce!
I think I played this song for over 100 times on my solo trip... Such a great addition to my adventure, and kept me sane as well!! Thank you a lot for this masterpiece Clamavi De Profundis.
Clamavi manages to chain masterpieces, staying always true to themselves while somehow sounding new and different everytime. But what I enjoy the most about your songs are the similitudes. Those accords, those intonations, those rythm, those chorus, they are waving a net of lore, and everytime I recognize an element of your musicality, it summons to me the whole power of your opera.
Having played it since launch. I definitely recommend atleast giving it a try. It's sorta a Lite version of a Soulsborne game with some crafting/survival mechs thrown in and a really good branching plot.
Yeaaaah the guys are back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love the voice of this woman, but seriously.... They are unique!!!!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! Love u!
Masterpiece of a song as always!! I noticed that this song was the opening video on the Steam store page for the game! But I was sad when I couldn't find any mention of you as the ones who sang it. I can't wait for more dwarven music! or Tolkien poems! Keep up the Amazing work!!
Somehow I missed this upload, but got the Steam notification that the game was on sale today and while checking out the trailer I was like "Wow, that REALLY sounds like Clamavi De Profundis; this song is awesome!" Fellas, I think you may have just sold a copy of this game.
I've played the game with my best friend a year or so ago, and then I listened to this song for the first time. Though without DLCs, every map we traversed mentioned let memories of all those fun times dwell up (Especially since our pair-setup of ranged damage + Magic and the other a being a front-"brunt" fit in so well with the song lines). Sweet memories... Struggling, getting bet up, then trying again until we bet THEM up. Who's cutting onions here, by the way?
I literally just bought and started playing this game it’s pretty low budget seemingly but it’s actually kind of fun I’m enjoying it so far lots of variety finding out you guys made a song for the day after I downloaded it is hilarious
Not heard of the game or the song, but this is gorgious. I do wish it had a little more resolution, both to the journey mentioned, and to the song itself, but maybe that is the point, journeying ever outward into distant lands?
You guys made me buy this game and play it. I usually don't play games like it but it was good. I usually play single player fps games or games like harvest moon or sandbox games or games like civilization.
I just found this game while browsing steam and I got it right away but my PC has little space and I have to share it with my brother so I had to uninstall it to make more space but now I want to play it while listening to this song
It's just me or UA-cam really don't want to recommend this song to me?! Every single time i want to hear it i need to search for it, looks like it's not flagged as "music" in the algorithm
stunning song! any player of RPG games, real life adventures can feel and drawn their own memories from this song. The music is excellent as are the voices-both beautiful. I have loved your groups songs for awhile, especially the dwarven ones (my fav character in AD&D) . Are any of your tracks on cd's so I can play going to work (watch out slow pokes-lol)-best of luck and if my novels hit it big, I will be contacting you for a song myself-stay safe and success-as the Klingon's say KH'PLAH (victory) yes I speak that too :)
This is beautiful. I think, I heard of this yesterday for the first time. Could you maybe do a cover of the Song of the Lonely Mountain from the end credits of the first Hobbit movie?
Wonderul song. It make me got all sorts of computer gamer, and real quests. Travelling over the coean. Merciless battles. Blushing Maidens. The Adnture Calls! Do you have more songs in this "genre" (epic, medieval, orcestral, vocal) all in one
I'd really love to hear some rendition of shanties and pirate song by You guys. With your powerful vocals songs like Hoist the Colors or Derelict would be a pleasure to listen to
An amazing piece of music, and i.. guess the game's alright I suppose.. if only the coop wasn't such .. well. garbage. Even so, it cant take away the beauty and amazement of this song c:

From a big fan of the game in general, It's bloody perfect is what it is!
you should do a cover for "Three Hearts as One" from Elder Scrolls
Splendid work. Do you all have a price list for your commissions posted anywhere?
Can I commission Elden Ring song? Is there a special list for that or something?
Love it. Any more info on how the song came to be? I assume they wrote/orchestrated it? (lots of game specific things)
Been playing this game awhile now it's really fun. The way you use magic is more like science experiment and makes it super interesting. Would recommend this game for sure.
Rune Magic is the superior choice. End of. xD
I don't know anything about this game, but that song is beautiful, and so is the clip, it really feels like a soothing journey.

@@McDonaldWilliamT sounds really cool!
@@xman7695 It honestly is, if you like say, Valheim, you'll probably have fun with Outward.
Because this game is all about the adventure! :) Try it! ;)

Clamavi de Profundis drops yet another masterpiece, as always
I thought the singers sounded familiar when I saw this on the Steam page. But I thought nah... it couldn't be. Then I find this.
This video more than any ad has made me want to buy and play the game. Great job on another wonderful song

How do you always do it? Amazing words, amazing voices, amazing music. Your songs are perfect.
This game was already on my wish list. Now I want to play it even more.
This is so beautiful, I've never heard of this game before in my life but you guys make it sound super fun!
It is, but it can be tough as nails though. Timed quest deadlines, hard as nails enemies ect.
@XiX Kazite Spellblade, Warrior Monk, Rune Sage is my go to. So yeah. Fire is def. involved when I play. LOTS of fire.
@XiX Heh, Blue Sand Armor. Not the best single resist, but good enough in all categories to make a solid fallback.
This game makes you feel like a normal guy against a deadly but awesome fantastic enviroment. Diligence and perseverance are the keys to success. The coop is awesome too.
What's the game called and what platform do you play it on?
I love the precedence this sets!
O and I love the song, but that was a given looking at its authors :)
Wooot! The perfect thing to listen to while playing the game. Been loving the definition edition, and this song couples marvelously with it. Thank you all as always with the great work you produce!
Have to admit, i loved the game but i never expected to hear a song so perfectly capture the heart of playing outward. Thank you. It was beautiful

It's always sad to see that people have never heard of this game despite how amazing it is. I loved the song Y'all did amazing. Bravo bravissimo!
At first I thought Clamavi made their own game and almost got a heart attack.

I did wonder if anyone else here had wandered Aurai as well besides whomever commissioned them for this piece.
I heard this song on Steam and figured I recognized the music style from somewhere. Turns out I was right, lol - it is in fact sung by you guys, lol.
This game really has no business being as good as it is.
Love y'alls productions, outta the park every time.
BY ELATT!! This is a big surprise! A welcome one though!

Your group should do the song from Pirates of the Caribbean that the Pirates sing in the third one; "Yo, ho, all together, hoist the colors..".🎶
Unexpected, but neat!
Please do the song of Nimrodel sung by legolas in the fellowship of the ring
