Thank you very much for posting; means a lot.
Sad that there are not more posts. Williams was unique in his musical knowledge and access to the icons of American popular standards, jazz, and other genres of the era. I could never get enough of the WNEW line up. I still ache for those familiar sounds. As for Sinatra, he needs no accolades from me - he was a genius. Thanks for posting this interview in UA-cam.
Sitting here in 2020 still with my William B. Love to reminisce
2 greats.Williams & Sinatra
I was Mr Williams secretary for a short time about 1972. His secretary was having a baby and I sat in for her. Buddy Rich was one of Mr Williams clients and I would help set up his gigs. It was great working for them.
❤️
I grew up listening to WNEW 1130 AM in NYC.

Very insightful.
loved WILLIAM B....
Wonderful ❤
WNEW 1130..was a GREAT radio station.....williams was a must listen...but....when Sinatra made Trilogy....williams...panned the 3rd lp..the future one...which was junk...but Sinatra got williams...taken off air for 2 weeks....for criticizing...his work...
Frank also did that to Jonathan Schwartz after he criticized an album.
nothing like FS
