  • HOW TO CLEAN Revlon One Step Dryer Brush EASY and Yes you can wet it in water. Please follow the steps VERY CAREFULLY.
I've seen many tutorials on this and all of them are way to complicated and time consuming. You CAN put water on it and here is how.
NOTE: I am not responsible if your unit breaks. If you have a different model and there are clearly components inside of it, DO NOT do this tutorial.
    Follow at your own risk.

This worked perfectly. I’m sad to say I’ve had this brush for years and didn’t know how to clean it. I would just take out the hair but this is pristine. All the gunk and oil and greasiness is gone! Thanks.

Omg you ma'am are a Godsent , your video came just in time.I made the mistake of blowdrying my hair with all my wash day hair products in it, to say the brush was disgusting after is an understatement. Had no clue how to wash it, was even thinking of buying a new one. When I saw your video i decided to try it and if it gets spoiled🤷🏽‍♀️was gna get a new one anyway. Your way worked like a charm🤗 you saved my brush, and i now blowdry with just liquid live-in conditioner and a light oil(keeps my brush clean) thank you sooooo much💕😍

@widadgazola3037 I think it's good. However, it does get super hot, which can easily damage your hair. I don't use it very often because of that. I do like to pack it for traveling and for a super smooth look.

It's pretty easy to take apart to remove the brush. You pry back the pink sections at the top and there's a phillips screw on either side. Then you gently pry the black sections slightly away from the brush head and pull the brush out.

This makes sense to me. I looked at mine (Conair) and there’s nothing electronic in the brush. So, after watching this I found a one quart canning jar. I set it in the jar to check that was deep enough and the handle would rest against the jar rim. Then I filled it with warm water and left enough room for displacement from the brush, checked that, adjusted the water level. Then removed the brush, added some shampoo (about a teaspoon or less). Finally, I left it to soak for about an hour or so.
The buildup on the brush simply dissolved. I carefully rinsed it and shook it. After I dumped the dirty water and rinsed the jar, I set the brush back in, and I’m now waiting for it to dry enough so I can set it on a towel to dry overnight. I have no reason to think it won’t turn back on and blow warm/hot air.
