Hi, Gabi! Great video, as always! ❤️ I didn’t know the best place to ask this, but wanted your expert opinion. Is it better for the health of my hair, fullness and longevity, to blow it out while it is wet or let it air dry and then blow it out??
@@lisaswords1582 Your hair is stronger when it is dry so in terms of hair health, you have less potential for damage if you start with it dry but it looks WAY better if you blow it out from a damp state because you get a lot more control over your hair when it is wet/damp. I know that is not the best answer. I personally air dry for a bit and when my hair is 50% dry, I finish it by blowing it out.
@@GlamGirlGabi Thank you so much, Gabi!! I feel honored that you
took the time to reply!! ❤️
@@GlamGirlGabiMeant to ask, I wash my hair at night, but do not go to bed with it wet, do you still advise the same? If I don’t blow it out section by section, I tousle it dry and go to bed!
@@lisaswords1582 I would probably still blow it out and then sleep with a satin cap. Do you have one of those? You will wake up with fantastic, smooth voluminous hair if you do it that way.
That seems like a lot of work... I'd rather just wash my hair!
maybe for you… but If I were to wash my hair whenever it got greasy, than i would wash it after every 6 hours… It’s simply not feasible plus it aggravates oil production. So I need ideas how to still look well with my super thin, limp greasy hair and this youtuber presented some great ideas, very easy to make and doesn’t require a lot of technique or expensive products. I have watched hundreds of videos on how to handle thin greasy hair and this is one of the very few videos I am actually saving, and that means a lot.
I totally agree with you! This video was a laugh. Sooooo much work. I'd rather wash my hair too.
As soon as she pulled out that hot air brush, I was out…I could just spend that time washing my hair!
Same here
I don’t like the feel or the flat, unshiny look that I get from dry shampoo. I would definitely wash my hair rather than add to the grease.
I am a hairstylist as well. I used to have short damaged hair and I would always gravitate toward using heat on days old hair. On top of that not using a heat protectant too. Exactly what Gabi is doing here. The prep step is fine every once in a while but honestly I am so not for blowdrying old greasy hair even it you have used a dry shampoo, especially with a hot brush considering they aren't really easy to clean. Just putting dry shampoo and and brushing it through will save you a lot of damage long term no need for the heat tool the pony tail would have looked exactly the same maybe just a slight wave. If you have fine hair treat it gently and practice what you preach because a lot of people see this as easy every day quick hair styles. Well do this twice a week for a while and your hair will be fried plus your hot tools will be extra covered in gunk. Why don't hairstylists have long hair? cuz they do this every other day before work always using hot tools, changing colors with the seasons, and then they are stuck getting regular hair cuts cuz they are damaging the heck out of their hair.
Yes! I was wondering why she did the hot brush when these styles were all slicked back anyway 🤷🏻♀️
That hot brush totally fried my hair!! They are awful for fine hair.
I really think it takes less time to just get in the shower and wash the hair than do all the stuff she was doing. It takes me about 15 minutes to shower and wash the hair.
@@Anastasia-sy2lo but then most need to detangle and style after shampooing. So this is a time saver. Shampooing too often damages the hair and scalp too.
Omg - I made the last one.. the two-ponytails-bun-hairstyle.. LOVE IT!!! So easy. So quick. So beautiful. ❤️ Thank you!!!!
I never knew about inserting bobby pins closed when securing a bun! That's a great tip! Thanks! 😊
Yes I learned that from being a bridal hairstylist. It’s brilliant isn’t it? It works so well and doesn’t ruin the shape of the hairstyle.
Really? I always do that u just weave it in and outt
I second this!
I actually experienced that when I put closed bobby pins in my hair, they pull out my hair when I take them out, so I prefer to open them up or use the widely spaced ones
not me being 27 and not knowing you're suppose to open them. 🙃
Just amazing! Best tutorial I have seen on how to manage fine greasy hair properly. I am so inspired and can't wait to try these hair styles. Thank you very much Gaby.
💚✨😍
How many of you were waiting for a video like this? How many of you are not washing your hair so you can do this? I honestly can do my hairstyles better at least 3 days after I wash it. Thanks for the video, Gabi
I love that ponytail puffer! I'm always pulling at mine to give it a bit more height and thickness
I’d LOVE to wear those head scarves, but I don’t know why they never hold in place. Could it a matter of head shape? (Too flat at the back to hold it?)
I tried out the last bun, it looks really well and is so easy to do! Love it, thank you! 😊
Yes, I love the PonyFull look! Then again, I did the high hair thing in the early 90’s too. I’m 55 now and have hair similar to yours.
I’m so glad I found your channel! I have fine, oily hair and I’ve learned so much from your videos!
Thank you! That last look was what I was looking for. So elegant and simple! ❤
Thanks for doing this! The length & fineness of your hair is relatable
You are just beautiful! My favorite is the last bun hack…so pretty. My hair is so thin, I can’t get it in a bun without looking like a skinned rabbit. Ill keep trying! Thanks, Gabi, for all the tips…be blessed!
Dear Paula, you'll never get this result because her hair is NOT thin!
If you want a good looking bun, get one of those donut hair buns in a shade close to your hair color, it works wonders! -- From a former skinned rabbit ;)
Omg same …. I feel like a one of those naked dogs that only have like 3 hairs
It’s so frustrating
😂😂 Had to laugh at the skinned rabbit analogy. I feel the same, I swear
Skinned rabbit lol!
I loved the last one and I have just done it on my hair, longer and thick. It feels so lighter than one regular bun, it is amazing, thank you!
Isn’t it fantastic?? When I learned that my mind was blown. You can do it low on the head in the nape as well and it sits beautifully. If you have curls in the hair, it looks SO fancy! I’m glad that you found this video useful. Thanks so much for taking the time to leave me some feedback.
@@GlamGirlGabi Yes, it's so cool, thank you!
The high pony with the stopper is adorable and very flattering in my opinion.
Love the puffed up ponytail
I'm in my late sixties and like to do my hair up because of the warm weather in our country, Thank you so much for all the idea's i just LOVE your channel, please don't stop showing us your creativity! 🌹
I love the second look - can’t wait to do it! Super cute on you.
The confidence it takes to rock that bow. I love it!
I LOVE the bun one at the end. Imma try that!
I love how you put the hair prep in! Wish more tutorials would do that!!!
Thanks for sharing - so in love with the last look!

I love the very last one of the double poney into a top bun idea. I have layered LONG hair thats crazy thick n curly n textired....so this technique looks like it will work for Me.
Beautiful !!! Love all these hairstyles, thanks for posting 😻
I love all of the up do's, I think I need my hair a little longer to achieve these results....you look like you have thicker hair as well, beautiful hair ❣️
Thanks Gabi, loved that last hack as well as your channel , thank you hon for all that you share.

Super cute! Thank you. I'm a big pony tail person and ideas like this make them more fun.
Lots of love from Hamburg, Germany!
This is perfect! These are all hairstyles I can do on a bad hair day!! They are realistic and don't take a lot of prepping time in the morning. I need more ! Thank you! ♥️
Hey Eva! I’m so happy that you found these realistic and helpful. I’ll do another series of these soon. Do you prefer ideas for dirty or clean hair?
Hi Gabi!! I like to style my hair, when it's clean. But I always do the same styles on dirty hair and there are not many easy styles for dirty hair out there. So I prefer the dirty hair styles 🙈
@@evasophie3233 You got it! I will work on some more videos for you!
Thank u for all the easiest hairdo...luv it!
Be confident! It’s gorgeous!!!!❤
Love love love this type of videos!! So practical to have different styles in my arsenal since I have to put my hair up for work😊thanks
Yes and they’re easy enough that it’s not overwhelming. I’ll make more videos like this soon!
It's probably not a great idea to leave so much oil build-up on your scalp and then use products to disguise or absorb it from your hair. It will still be clogging your hair follicles and the products cause build-up as well. I have an oily scalp and on occasion I've had to use dry shampoo when I was in a big hurry and had no time to wash my hair, but I wouldn't make it a habit.
I like the cute hairstyles you demonstrated. I'm going to have to look for that O-ponytail ring. I've never seen it before! Also the style with two buns that you looped together is very pretty and I will have to give it a try.
Thank you so much Gabi, this video is awesome! I can’t wait to try ALL of these ideas 😍❤️🥰.
I’m so happy that you enjoyed it Rubi! If you try it, tag me on Instagram @glamgirlgabi so that I can see it!
This is exactly what I needed! ❤
That last one was the best!

Mad adorable. Thank you for sharing.
Practical and fabulous! Love these ideas, thank you 😊
Just bought the wet brush absolutely love it . my thick hair is a nightmare some days but the brush glides through it thanks I recommend!
Th last one is amazing, worked like a charm. And I have no skills in styling my hair. It looks so pretty!
Thank you for this video! I can always use more options for my third-, fourth-, or fifth-day hair lol. I gotta try the last bun one, it looks so good!
I LOVE these types of videos, please do more! ♥️
I am working on another one using claw clips! The 90s claw clip is back and it’s so damn easy to use!
All of these styles are SOOOO cute! 😍
Thank you! The last one is great!
I really like the ponytails 😊
Really helpful! Thanks ☺️
My go to hair is parting the hair in the middle and instead of low ponytail i am making it into a bun. I feel so elegant just like you.
That kitsch thingy is awesome!
Much much love from England thank you for your wonderful ideas,I have learnt so much. ❤
Love em all, thanks so much for the ideas!
Beautiful!!! Love all these hairstyles 😻
Question: since you experienced "tension alopecia" and went through the cost and process of re-establishing hair, can't that type of alopecia happen again with these hairstyles? I'm trying to remember if you addressed my question in your "journey" videos and I can't. I ask because I'm likely going to start interviewing doctors for the same and am curious about a person's hair-styling habits and the longevity of the results. Thank you.
Love the last one. I was doing it with the bobby pin open so I will follow your advise and add the bobby pin closed :)
I know how much work it is to make videos, but I love and appreciate them and want you to know your efforts are making the world a more beautiful place, one head at a time. 😁❤👍
Love this video and love your makeup! Beautiful!
Thank you so much. I love a bold winged liner :)

I think the pony full is a great ponytail and looks great on your head shape and hair line.
#7 def my fav. Also thank you for this video for all us short hair people!
Great tutorial! Thank you for the ideas!
Thanks for taking the time to leave feedback Anne. I’m so happy that you found this one to be useful.
Loved them all 😍
Thanks so much for the feedback. I am so happy that you liked the looks.
Thank you for the two bun hack! It will be perfect for a wedding I am going to.
I love the last one!! 😊
Ooo I like that last one!
The two buns was really cute 🥰
Another great video. I’d love to hear your recommendations of the best blow dryer for fullness of fine wavy hair.
Do you have any advice for us guy's who can no longer use Touch of Grey because of the formula change by Just for Men they have basically ruined what was previously an amazing product. It boosted and enhanced your medium browns but still kept some of the grey so it looked totally natural. Us older guy's actually want some grey! Is there any way to recreate what the old product achieved through using ladies box colours. I have a box of Clairol Med Ash Brown but am scared to use it.
So amazing thank you
tak pięknej kobiecie wszystko pasuje wyglądasz super
Aw thank you so so much. That’s very sweet. ❤️
Great video, love it as usual ❤ ❤
