Everytime he missed I just kept thinking back to me fighting the Fire Giant in Elden Ring, I was constantly missing attacks because my camera kept locking onto his torso and not his hands during the second phase I finally managed to beat him though, good fight, probably my second favourite after Margit (Also I JUST beat the Fire Giant for the first time as of commenting so NO SPOILERS FOR ELDEN RING)

@@hexver1337 yeah that is exactly what I meant , almost no one goes there like ever !!! after learning about the master key , the only reason to go there is just to 1) get the ugikatana 2) get that large ember in the depths and get lazy going back up 3) farm humanity from rats because you want that bed of chaos shortcut and to save solar in his side quest and get the head piece that light the tomb of giants because you hate the shield one 4) talking to the dude who self crystal stuff 5) doing all boss run where you need to kill gaping dragon 6) not knowing the master key route because it's your 1st play throw
@@huicho50able The area is kind of the pinnacle of ds1 imo. It is dark and makes you feel trapped while feeling like a real sewer at the same time. It also comes right after my other favorite part of the game in undead parish. The place is unforgiving and feels like you are not meant to be there, and that is because you aren't. From a gameplay perspective it is annoying but that can be said about every area in the game. The merchant that gets rid of curse is right at the start of the area through a door that is right next to the entrance.

I'm about to beat the game for the first time, and yeah sens fortress was easy. +7 halberd and everyone got destroyed. Only bad area in the game was tomb of the Giants imo

Zanny if you read this there is a ring that lets you talk with the spider girl. IT's called Old Witch's Ring. I guess you picked the master key (which is a good item) so to get the Witch's ring you have to trade a Sunlight Maggot to Snuggly in the Undead Asylum) I would advise you to check the wiki, because her and Astora's questline is pretty cool to go through. Also quick tip, in the Duke's Archive when you go up to that Crystally top the boss door is a trap, where you can just stuck in an infinite loop trying to beat a boss that is unbeatable at that point. To go forward you have to take the elevator back down. First you have to be quick so I would advise no item at all other than maybe a sword and the ring that reduces fall damage. Then you go up from that big library thing with the elevator, then when you are up (at the crystal hallway) you stand on the elevator send it down but run off before it start, then immediately roll back on the railing. After that while the elevator is going down you position yourself at the corner. Now the last is to jump from the railing to one of the upper sections, and fight your way to the bonfire that is next door, in a little sideroom to the left. There should be only weak enemies on the place you jumped so you can beat them with only a sword, after that I advise reequip your standard because there will be stronger enemies in the next big room. Also the left chest is a mimic if I remember correctly, you can tell it if the chain is connected or not at the side. If you have Lloyd's Talisman you can use it on a mimic to turn it 'friendly'.

I remember when I was young and went out all the time, one of my friends who loved these games would always convince me to try it when we got home. I must have put in 30 hours on every type of drugs just so he could laugh his ass off. Well, a couple of months ago I took him home again after dropping x and beat radagon/elden beast to finally win his respect. Love you Rutger, that's over 10 years of an awesome friendship buddy. About DS2, apparently The Scholar of the first sin has different enemy placement and other stuff and I just watched some parts of the original release and was surprised that I didn't hate it. I do not like scholar of the first sin but the base version has way less bullshit gang fights so you might want to avoid the new version and play the og one. And it has a difficulty curve unlike what ever the fuck they were doing with scholar version.

For the rest of your playthrough some bosses will be easier to fight unlocked so your dodging is easier but also your weapon swing won’t lock onto the middle torso of the boss
With s&a U can glitch the fight, have to wipe out all enemies bar the silver knight, bait him to the fog door, stand with Ur back to the fog door and parry the knight, Ur arm will go through and it will start the boss fight, with that done kill the knight, run back to the bonfire and rest then go back to s&O, go through the fog door and ornstein will be at the fog door but won't move, and same goes for smough, he'll be at the other end, not moving either, kill whichever to Ur heart's content, this only works for the first phase however
the fact he came so close to beating them only to miss every swing at the end and then have to do another number of attempts pretty much sums up Dark Souls don't go hollow chads
Qyelaag, Sen's house of fun and pikachu and snorlax boss fight, brings back a lot of trauma and fond memories. The runback to Gwyn bossfight is stupid long if you try to clear the knights each time which i did until i defeated Gwyn at my 36th attempt

As much as Blighttown sucks (your frames, playing this on my 360 was PAIN), Sen's Funhouse is a first-time experience that singlehandedly leaves you irreversibly changed. I can do it with my eyes closed practically because I once played all the way to Hydra before dying a single time or leveling up, but the first time was so painful that it became ingrained in my mind.

Wow. I used summon against the executioner and ornstein because I thought that boss fight was bs. Now seeing Zanny do it without one makes me wish I could redo the fight without one. Sure it’s rage inducing but it looks so satisfying
