I wish LEGO realize their ignorance of their train theme. They gave ppl the Hogwarts Express set this year, but it isn’t compatible with the coty track system. I think they should upgrade the 2018/2019 and make it look more detail with a better price tag. I also wish for them to do something that you’re doing. These models looked amazing and I wish I can build them, but I don’t have a laptop to use Bricklink and also their payment methods on there are so limited to just two. Hope you have great sat today!!!
It sucks that the HE is the only good looking train out atm, I want a non-brand, transphobia-free train, more train wheels would be amazing
@@ashsquest1235 I’ll be fine by that well. Maybe a train based on something in real life
Wait it doesn’t work for actual track?!?! NNNNOOOOOOOO!!!! I was hoping to buy some track for my Hogwarts Express!!!!
@@Drakestorm87 yeah, but thankfully for me, I have the Crocodile Locomotive I got as a birthday present two years ago, but unfortunately I don’t have any track. But yeah, this Hogwarts Express isn’t compatible with the City track system
i love that because platic that lego sues is glossy, models look so good.
can't wait until you do Edward or Stepney, I'll definitely buy those models! and definitely look into figuring out how to do coaches (both branch and express variants)
I can’t wait until you do Edward
Wait so buying it if redbrickable is like buying it as a proper Lego set?
Like Super Mario always said:
Mario: Check out the enclosed instruction book
Yes!
I wonder why it accually looks good
Just a quick question do you get the bricks when you buy it or do you have to buy it from Lego?
Amazing work
I may not have the correct colors for some of those but I have the right parts either way so I will see how two of the designs go and yes I will be giving credit to you for the amazing designs
Nice!
I do have a question if no one ask this, but are there any plans to make a Diesel 10 model because like I do wanna build Thomas one day but I wanna have an enemy besides him like in the magic railroad movie especially with unique claw Diesel had.
I can't say I have any immediate plans for a Diesel 10, as I'm focusing on Railway Series characters right now. Would be a fun build though!
@@WoodenToby it’s alright, that’s why I wanted to ask, thank you though.
One day. These will be on the shelves of Walmart and much more
My picture in the video 🎉
WoodenToby has become LegoToby! But fr great work.
I would love to do this!!
YES FINALLY
First baby and I like yours so much I made my own :D
Coolio
Does Thomas come with the weels cuz I want to build the non motorized version
Do you buy them with the instructions they come in the mail?

Are you going to get around to make Edward
0:12 how did you build a custom lego thomas?
Might have to change ur username to LegoToby by this point 😂😂😂
That's definitely the direction my content has been trending! That said, it looks like my next 4 videos will be Wooden Railway until I return home over break, so I'll get back to my roots a little.
Will you be selling stickers for the faces/numbers/details or is that in the PDF file that can then be printed on sticker paper?
I can send an SVG file of the sticker designs to people who buy instructions. I personally create the designs in Inkscape, then export the file into Cricut software, using a Cricut machine to cut them onto adhesive vinyl.
@@WoodenToby It would be great if you could make the stickers available via mail order for those of us who don't have the equipment to print them (though I realise that might be a lot of hassle for you). I'm just very glad to see all these sets of instructions, at last! I built your original Thomas but it was a painstaking process trying to reverse engineer it from Studio, which boggled my mind a bit :) I'll definitely be making more - and would love to see Duck!
@@gargoyle666 Hi! I'd need the stickers to be a bit more polished as a product to feel good about selling them. The small ones especially can be tricky, not always cutting correctly and often peeling off the backing, plus application can be challenging. Glad to hear you built my design, hopefully PDF instructions can help minimize the difficulties of building from Studio!
@@WoodenToby Fair enough! :) I'm making Percy next.
Free thomas instructions for the old build right
Hello I would like to buy all parts for building Thomas, complete with instruction. How can I do? Please if you can send me a link.
I really thank you.
Best regards....
Alessandro.
I buy Lego parts for my models on BrickLink. I do sell instructions for my models (parts not included) by email (woodentoby@gmail.com) and usually on Rebrickable, although I'm having some issues with that website at the moment.
When I tried to find Big Ben brick wheel on
it did not work so how did you find them do I have to go on internet and buy them
Looks like part of your comment was cut off, but if you're looking to buy the wheels for a model, they're from bigbenbricks.com
Can you make Edward, please?
That'd be nice
So does the lego pieces come with the instructions or do we have to look for the pieces?
Sadly we have to buy the pieces separately );
can you make Edward please UwU
Gordon maybe??😊
Can we (at some point) get a tutorial on the faces?
I've definitely thought about that idea! The next time I start an engine from scratch, I'd like to create a tutorial series walking through the full design process. That said, the basics are that I design the shapes in Inkscape, then use a Cricut machine to cut them onto adhesive vinyl.
What happens if a person buys the instructions enjoys the model for many years, handles it with care but decides to sell the built and motorized model. Are you going to be like lego and not care if someone buys a used and love set complete and built? Or be more like brick model railroader and have a strict no resale of built models?
If we're talking years from now, that's probably not something I have to worry about right now :) That said, I probably wouldn't have a problem with someone doing what you described, but obviously I wouldn't be okay with someone buying instructions, then using them to build and sell copies of my model.
Do these builds ship internationally? Such as Australia??
I'm just selling instructions and digital model files, so the digital resources don't have delivery restrictions
What is the lego piece you use for the face is called?
4x4 inverted dish
Ok thanks
How do you do your couplings
Lego chains, and often I attach a 2x2 round "buffer" in the center so trains can reverse around curves and points without derailing
How do I buy all the parts and wheels?
I buy my Lego parts on BrickLink, and the wheels are from Big Ben Bricks.
I didn’t mean parts I mean wheels in rebrickable😊
504th
How do we get the parts?
I buy parts for my models on BrickLink
@@WoodenToby can you send a link in the comments to brick link
And I will definitely be buying James Gordon and express coaches and Edward and Thomas Annie and Clarabel and Percy, because his models very nice
@@Gordonishere4 Just Google it, you'll find the website easily
Do I need to search each piece individually?
I intend to buy these instructions and redistribute for free
That wouldn't fly
@@WoodenToby would you like some 2010 SI3D models
