- I'm incredibly excited to finally have Gordon ready to reveal publicly! A couple factors delayed the process - I ended up ordering different parts for his face halfway through filming, then the deck where I usually film was partially dismantled - but I think I got excellent shots at a couple other locations, and the final video came out great! With these 4 new models, my collection is already up to 25 models total! Enjoy another Lego scene recreation at the end too!

Thank you, Larry! It's been a while since I made a model for which I owned a Duplo counterpart, but those comparisons are always interesting. And I definitely wanted to get a shot of the full collection with the latest wave all revealed now!
Wow! That is the best LEGO model of Gordon ever built! I even liked the "Thomas and Gordon"/"Thomas Gets Tricked" bit in the end.

So glad you liked it! Feedback from others played a big role in persuading me to replace the original 6x6 dish face with the curved slopes, but it seems to have been the right choice
God I love this!!! I can barely get enough 2x4 slopes for my tender engines, I'm jealous 8(>_

I love all your Lego models! You always do such a good job designing them! I have been taking insperation from your models since 2020 in order to start designing my own! I will be excited to see how to make stickers for Lego models, as I will need to know how to do that when I build my Thomas. Very nice job, and keep up the good work

Glad you liked the models! My Annie and Clarabel match the original Railway Series books, where they have 8 wheels. I discuss the topic briefly in their video if you haven't had a chance to check it out yet!

I absolutely love it and I would love to see Lego Duke Or Smudger After all we can't leave out Granpuff
I realized you could use Gordon as a base to make a Henry Mk1 model. All you need to do really is make all the blue parts green (unless you want a blue Henry), remove the steam pipes, make the buffers circular, make the tender with rounded corners, and change the side cab windows from 2 on each side, to just one in each side. Simple really.

This is amazing! Maybe your best build yet! Your whole layout looks super cool with all the engines, even the narrow gauge. Also, ive always thought those curved pieces would be perfect for pistons (i used them once for one of my train mocs) ans nice to see you used them perfectly! 😊

I appreciate the kind words! A big model like this might be hard to top, but as long as I can continue to maintain a high level of quality, I'm happy! No doubt I'll have to build Henry to round out the main 7 now that I have the big engines figured out! Duck would be fun for the future too to complete the famous 8 like you said!

Really good model, feels almost like an RWS/TVS hybrid. Also, you could always use side rods from TrainedBricks, as I have on my fictional 0-4-4T loco
Thanks! Designing from the RWS illustrations rather than from each character's real-life basis definitely ends up sharing similarities with the TV series, like you said. Genuine Lego parts are my first choice over third-party elements whenever possible, so I have to say I'm content with the style of rods I've been using.

You will never fail to amaze me with your Lego models! I always new you’d build Gordon’s express coaches! They really are the right ones for him! Say! With so many trains, you might want to consider building some stations now! I’m sure Henry might be just as difficult as Gordon! But I know you’ll do it! Other things I think you should consider making our other rolling stocks. Like, maybe the troublesome van, or the tar milk and fuel tankers! And when you make Peter Sam or Duncan, you ought to add Beatrice the guards van. Since you haven’t made her yet! Just some ideas to think about!
All fun ideas! I do have to say figuring out Gordon makes designing other big engines like Henry much easier

Maybe you can do Duck, Donald and Douglas, Oliver, Toad, Bill and Ben, Fergus, Emily, Stepney, Mavis, Salty, and Diesel in RWS aesthetic.
I can’t wait to see who else you make Henry and Duck are all that’s missing from the Famous 8 so I’m interested to see what else you bring to us in the future
Honestly, the boiler seems a bit fat, but I suppose that's just the limitations of Lego. Other than, that, it looks GORGEOUS.
My Gordon voice would be similar to Kronk from The Emperor's New Groove since Patrick Warburton would be great as Gordon. My Percy voice would be more like Harvey Guillén as Perrito from Puss In Boots: The Last Wish.
You can guarantee make neville He looks like an easy build especially diesel ten.^^ I would love to see those

OMG! You must have taken the extra mile to design a LEGO engine that big, as well as those express coaches. This is some fabulous creativity, I hope one day to see a Henry and maybe another piece of rolling stock, maybe even Duck would be interesting.

Hope you enjoyed your birthday! Building up to the big models was definitely the way to go, I learned so much from designing the smaller ones first. Gordon has definitely laid the way for a Henry model, and other Railway Series characters including Duck are certainly on the table for the future as well!

And 2: Will you at some point build the Live Stage set used in the Thomas "Big Live Tour/All Aboard Live Tour"?
I've been thinking about trying out Lego remakes someday if I could keep the project within a manageable scope. I'm not very familiar with the live tour, so that's probably unlikely, but I'd like to build more railway infrastructure in the future.
