I just found you on UA-cam.... Woohoo!!! I love this video!!! I can't wait to watch more of them. I know that it has been a year since the video went on UA-cam, but YOU HAD AN AWESOME FILTER!!!
Love ❤️ loved this informative video. I’m watching this a year after you made it. BUT Patti, I’m impressed with your filtering. I know I won’t get anything, but I love how you think. I thoroughly enjoy your videos. With the ginger grater for the dime brush for cleaning, does it have to be ceramic or can it be stainless steel?
Hi there! thank you for the kind words! :) We are glad you found us. You can use either material for a brush cleaner. We have even used plastic ones that kiddos use for beads.
Hi there! We would recommend getting a cardboard box or spare piece of wood and trying out some different heights and angles to see what looks best and works best for you!
Hi Pat! If the brushes aren't taken care of properly, they can flatten. A couple of ways people typically see them flatten is because they are not cleaning them properly. Patty shows how to do this around the 1 hour 24 minute mark in this video. The second way brushes could flatten would be if you use the stipple method frequently and apply a lot of pressure in your stippling.
Hi Cheryl! Any stencil that you love the design of will be a great one to start with!! If you like flowers, grab a flower stencil. If you like quotes, grab a quote stencil. We do have some kits. You can get these with a stencil and a surface, and some come with brushes and embellishments. Here's the link to our kits: studior12.com/collections/kits
We know a lot of people use a scraper on vinyl and mesh stencils. We do not recommend using a scraper to apply paint through a mylar stencil. The only time we use a scraper type tool for stenciling is to apply texture paste through a stencil. And we use a palette knife for that.

Hahaha. Patty Filtered too funny!
It doesn’t happen often 😂
I am disabled. Do I have to spray from above the stencils? Or can I spray from sitting down?
Which would be level to the stencils.

Will the dome brushes eventually flatten with use? Will too much pressure flatten them?
