      I am not sure which version you are on. I have seen complaints about 1.11, but 1.12 is out know. I updated from 1.10 to 1.12 and I am not seeing any issues now.

    Thanks for the great presentation on this device! Could you please share which is better iHost or Raspberry Pi + Zigbee2MQTT und NodeRed? I would like to learn more about iHost. Do you offer other iHost tutorials?

      I have a few iHost videos from the beginning when I got the device. The original Zigbee2MQTT is better, because it supports devices that the iHost does not recognize. But again Sonoff really only cares that the sensors they sell work with the iHost.

    Hi, may i know if you have tuya zibgee fingerbot? i can't get it discover and connect to sonoff zigbee hub-p, wonder if sonoff iHost can connect it or not, or i should get a tuya hub?(so many hubs in my home already....

      Try to enable the experimental feature for zigbee, maybe it will detect it (on the iHost). If it is not recognized you cannot do anything. Maybe just wait until Sonoff builds a support for it. You can use a Tuya hub, but than it will work in Tuya only.

    Is there any way to control the zigbee devices i added to my ihost with my phone and with my google assistant? Ewelink does not show any zigbee devices except the ihost. I cannot find ihost on the "works with Google home" list.

      Not at the moment. None of what you mentioned works right now. The eWeLink -> iHost integration is avaible, but not the other way around. I imagine it will be made available at some point... Same with Google.

    Do you know how I could manage (activate and deactivate) the security system from homebridge or homekit?

    • @csongorvarga
      @csongorvarga  7 місяців тому

      Well, not really. These functions are not integrated. The only option I can think of is to buy a simple Sonoff device, like a Basic, Zigbee Basic, Zigbee Mini. Set it up, so it is visible in HomeKit. And now in iHost, set up a scene that if this is turned on, Security is enabled, and if turned off security is disabled. I you will not use this device for anything else (e.g. switching lights) but this. Not the most elegant, but that should work.

      @@csongorvarga Thank you very much for your reply. It's really ingenious and I hadn't thought of that option.
      On the other hand, I think it's stupid that sonoff has not integrated one of the main features of the device into homebridge. I don't know if there is any way to claim it to the company as active and interested users.

    I can see this maybe being suitable for people new to hoem automation who like being locked into one ecosystem and it would be great for that. What I want to know, iswhy do so many devices need to have zigbee co-ordinators in them? Only one Zigbee co-ordinator can be used in a network, so we are paying for ZigBee co-ordinators in so many devices that will never have them used. I'd rather save a few dollars on other devices (like the Panel Pro) and not have redundant ZigBee co-ordinators in so many devices.

      @csongorvarga  Рік тому +1

      It says that I supports up to 128 zigbee devices. I think that is more what the NSPanel Pro can use. Certainly this is intended to be a central coordinator for a home automation. Especially that this is a full featured coordinator and has local control function. I am playing around with it more now, and it looks very promising.

      Hello from me too. So if I understood well…. At this moment it only controls zigbee devices and not the Wi-Fi devices yet?

    • @csongorvarga
      @csongorvarga  Рік тому +1

      @Jimmikos Nisiotis I just did the wifi device video, that will go live tomorrow. If controls your wifi devices as well, just need to add the integration. And as always, not all devices are supported yet.
