I'll see how my crew performs this GW but I'm thinking I'm going to have to find a slightly less casual crew. Consistently B Tier but even when I was a weak and casual player, I'd usually be in the top 5 crew members. That was fine back then since I was earning maybe 50m-100m honors and I felt like I was contributing. These days It's been a bit too much carrying. I even randomly inherited the Captain position when I went to refresh the crew skills since the previous captain failed to log in for several weeks. It'll feel bad leaving after all the time and resources invested into airship and island upgrades, but at the same time, a semi-serious crew of 15-20 members would progress those things far faster.
I'm in the same boat as you. Trying to weed out the ultra casual players from my crew so we at least have a majority active but still casual crew. If you're interested in joining, lemme know.
That's pretty normal, being able to be with a crew that actually plays the game especially when you're prepared to do more than just sitting around slacc-ing is going to provide you with so much more than your previous crew Simply because of just having at least 10+ players doing similar things with you will just be able to skyrocket your scoring so much better and at least getting like a couple of wins in Tier A is already going to get you way more than the usual Tier B stuffs
@@loquatmuncher I'd probably think more about weeding out this crew if I were the original captain and more of them spoke English. Not sure where you and your crew is at but I'm nearing rank 200, hit 600m+ honors last GW (but Dark is kind of broken), and my Light shouldn't be half bad.

I'm a fairly mid-late game player I suppose. I'm sitting at rank 177 right now. So whatever that makes me. When I was new to the game, I was playing a ton. Doing everything and grinding away. Somewhere around rank 120 ish I finally got bored and took a break. Then I spent faaaar too long being a seasonal player. I've recently started being aggressive again and so this coming GW will be the first where I actually hit it hard. My crew is not happy to know that I plan to use valor badges on the Opus weapon uncap material.... haha. Its probably a bad use of badges yes, but i'm playing at my own pace and getting those weapons to 5 star is important.
I never really fell to seasonal status, but I was quite casual for a while. Now I'm trying to play a bit of catch up and the previous (dark) GW was the first one I 44 boxed. It's nice to hit those thresholds where content becomes manageable. Given your rank, the Opus Uncap probably isn't a completely terrible idea, just to give a key element that extra boost. That said, you're probably nearing the point where running Faa HL is reasonable with the main "limiting" factor being getting 5 other decent players to run the harder raids with you. It can be a bit of a crap shoot just making the raid public, but the material cost is just a single Shadow Substance which can be leeched pretty easily from the standard version of the raid. Might as well work on putting together a party to run the raid and just go for it.
@@ArtumTsumia Yeah, I'm playing a lot of catch up right now too. My main element is dirt, which is a Highlander Primal build. Once I get my Opus and Astral to 5*, my grid will be officially done. At this point, my struggles with that grid is just choosing the party members for the raid I am doing. I don't swap party memebers. I use the same party for everything. So I often struggle on raids I shouldn't. And whats funny/sad is that while earth is my obvious best element, I have virtually nothing to use for water. Yeah, I've farmed everything other than water.... Oh well. I'm making progress either way so...
Pretty certain I've suggested countless of times to never use Valor Badges for those upgrades(just watch the video I listed in the description lmao) simply because IT IS A BAD choice to anyone in the game. Using the "playing at my own pace" excuse is arguably one of the most common excuses I've ever seen one when it comes to getting Faa/Babu mats You basically either take at least 2 GWs to grab(judging from your strength and 2 GWs probably takes like 3 months minimum) or you can just swallow your pride or whichever that is making you not want to leech Faa runs and just leech the runs which will allow you to get that materials gathered in a much shorter amount of time lol Anyways, end of the day you do you but know that this is on par to one of the worst possible decisions any low lvl player can make. Very similar to the likes of using your precious sunstones for Magna summons lmao
@@HiroshiSora I really want to follow this up with another excuse to excuse my first excuse, but I don't really have one. lol I understand using valor badges on an otherwise farmable resource is silly and unwise, but I just want to finish off my main element and get it fully done so I feel less useless when I leech into HL raids. It just feels so bad hoping into a HL raid, getting barely 100k honors and being defeated. I'll look up your other video because sure. But to my limited understanding of things, using Valor badges on the Gold brick or Arcarum Evoker stone item seems equally pointless as both are farmable as well. You can at least rest easy knowing that I'm not foolish enough to waste a sunlight stone on a magna summon.
NGL this is probably one of the most common issues I've tend to see out there, but all I can say is good luck and hopefully you do get one eventually It's very normal for them to do so just because that it is simply hard to gauge whether or not the new player is willing to go to the distance or just be a slacker rather
