I read about it somewhere in backpacking light or reddit. I break those flip top caps easy so wanted to see how long the Dawn dish soap cap lasts 😄 The tarp & bivy is working out pretty well. I've had 2 trips with the Borah Gear setup. It's pretty fun to try different tarp configurations.
Absolutely amazing thanks for sharing your adventure. Guys I recommended you visit the himalayan mountains k2 and Nangaparbat view point from one place moses peak. Add this sound in your bucket list.
Nice gear loadout Rod! I tried recorded one for my Grand Canyon trip last weekend in the backyard. My phone over heated and I lost about 10 minutes of footage. I guess I will record inside, lol
It's a lot easier when you don't think about it and just do it on one go 😂. You should have seen my frustration trying to remember lines. It was like a high school speech class all over again. There's a reason I don't do much gear videos lol
Hey Rob. What weight do you think that pack will hold? I can pack everything compact but my base wieight is closer to 7kg. Carry a bivvy / hammock and tarp.

Thanks for sharing your loadout and including the lighterpack links. Your reasoning for going ultralight makes a lot of sense.
Thanks! I hope it helps.
Excellent Rod! That's a crazy shelter set up! Dish soap bottle cap! 😂 Awesome! Thanks for joining in on the challenge!

Dang that sucks hah. It's not easy as it looks to do these. Trip videos are easier 😂
I like it. Very neat and compact Rod, a use for everything whilst not skimping either 👌🏻
Thanks. It's working out well so far. It's not too expensive but there are ways to go lighter. I don't have any gear with dyneema.
Nice load out, Rod. I’ve not been much about doing load out videos. I’ve only produced one. lol.

@@rodoutdoors Pretty much the way I feel. lol.
Will you be posting your go bag soon? Also, do you have a total weight on your loadout bag?
Hey what's up Joaquin 😄 It's around 15 lbs total with a liter of water and an overnight trip's worth of food.
