- Prime Minister Rishi Sunak has refused calls for an Israeli ceasefire in Gaza.
Israeli airstrikes killed 80 people in Gaza overnight, according to the Hamas government (George Grylls writes).
Israel defence forces said that 400 sites were struck on Tuesday, targeting Hamas operatives and terrorist infrastructure. It said the attacks were aimed at tunnels, military bases and munitions warehouses.

I was in Israel in 1991, I remember Israeli police had to shut down an entire block, called in the bomb squad, they had the diffuser robot and everything, that's because a lady forgot her groceries in a bag on a bench in a park. This was a daily occurrence back then, this is when there were way less barriers in the West Bank and Gaza.
The Palestinians basically want it all or nothing, so Israel gives them less of what they want, so then the Palestinians act out with violence so the Israelis respond with violence and more restrictions.
Palestinians are like some of those inmates in U.S. prisons that can't seem to understand they will never be in control, so they keep acting out, so the Israelis (the prison guards) take away their privileges, which makes the inmates act out even more. It's much easier to live in prison with privileges for good behavior than also being locked away in segregation for breaking the rules all the time.

Rishi Sunak is a coward, I hope this keeps him up at night. I hope that he lies awake thinking of the agony of those innocent children. All nice and stuff, but the honorable lady has to recognize that when you are in war againts terrorists, you shouldn't provide them any aid whatsoever. Israel didn't initaite the attack, it was Hamas terror group, who brought invetiable suffer on themselves, and as a war collateral on the inhibitats of Gaza. I bet the UK didn't consider "humanitarian aid" to the countries they conquered and enslaved their people...

We can bleat on about the war in the middle east and what should be happening to prevent escalation, encourage ceasefire and ensure those in Gaza have the aid they require, but I doubt they will listen to the UK as Netanyahu is only interested in the big guns of USA which will support him no matter what, even the complete destruction of Palestine. What Hamas did is abhorrent, but big netty needs to calm his jets before this conflict affects the entire world and they would be responsible for bringing about Armageddon.
