Sir, I have a torn 1989 Batman cowl, the tear is by the cheek area and it’s made of polyurethane. Would using polyurethane roof sealant be good enough to seal the tear on my mask? It’s a roof sealant made of urethane and it’s used for roof flashing and shingle tabbing.
This definitely works for most people. As a landlord having a commercial policy my deductible is 2500 or 5000. Can’t remember off the top of my head. Thanks for the tip.
@@user-rt6ph9cy4y insurance rates are going up regardless, if the insurance is going to do a roof replacement then it's probably worth it, get something out of it atleast
Nice job. Done that many times.

Use some elmers glue and duct tape
Is Henry HENRY 209 EXTREME WET PATCH. Any good for this type of repairs?
I just prefer to replace the shingle. I use the tar in a tube to glue down shingles after repair.

Thank you I appreciate the reply
Replaced 1 tab using capping.
What’s wrong with the shingle? Leaks
1 shingle tab was missing. Noticed when doing other repairs on property. Preventing future call / leak.
Is it 1 tab shingle or 3 tab shingle missing one tab?
3 tab shingles replaced one tab.
If you have broken or missing shingles, your insurance will replace the roof for the cost of your deductible.

My deductible is super high so onto the roof I go…
Usually the deductible is more expensive in the cost of a repair
@@stewbeats3171not to mention your insurance rate will most likely increase on your house

what glue did you use? Thank you
I normally just use cheap roofing tar in a tube.
@@handylandlordso we can go to the local hardware and find "roofing tar"?

Yes just about any hardware store should have roofing tar. I added a link to amazon for reference.
