The Elysian Paper Areti B6 Natural with NIP closure for my PTD s my unicorn and I've been looking at the website and IG page for a very long time. So glad to see yours and how it fit with the same planner I will use it for and I think you are correct, the extra width is so that the brass NIP doesn't interfere when you are writing in the planner. I too probably would have expected it to fit more snugly, but since I know about it now, I can decide if I still want the NIP closure or not. TFS!!!

What a great review! Thank you for sharing! The Sage and the Undyed leather are a perfect match. I myself own the Areti in almost all sizes- don't judge :)- and am also not a person who bulks up the planners. But I adore the extra space. For once, just as you have said it, the closure is not in the way therefore more writing comfort and I also like to attach a pen holder on the side which I prefer not to stick out of the cover and you can see the stitching when you write:).I have fallen hard for this cover, as you can tell. The craftsmanship is extraordinary and I am sure you will really enjoy writing in it. All the best for 2024! Janette

@@journalwithjas Usually I always tend towards earth tones- so cognac is also for me one of the most beautiful leather and color BUT I also like Forest Green&Undyed/ Honey and also Grey …. Ahh don’t make me pick one!😅
