Love all the covers. I have recently fallen in love with Traveler’s Company and more so after a recent trip to Tokyo. Can I ask how the patches were attached. It looks like they are sewn on? How was that done? I have gotten into collect the rarer covers and have recently acquired the Traveler’s Record’s cover from an Etsy seller.

Jus a fyi, the train, plane, hotel and records set was not a us exclusive, it was worldwide, somewhat limited but available in all the shops that wanted it. Like the more recent tokyo set.

I recently got the Sakuramochi pen from a retailer here in Germany who only had 2 pens available and I was able to snatch one of them… I‘m often not fast enough but this time I was lucky and I also got it with a medium nib which is my preferred nib size with Sailor. I love the pen and inked it with the Sailor Shikiori Miruai ink that was included. I am now waiting for my pre-ordered Sailor KOP Sunlight from the Ocean Floor that I also got with a medium nib and then I will have to save up for any more pens, I think… 😂

This is such a lovely travel and an amazing way to record it. There is one thing I wanted to mention, thst I would feel bad not mentioning. The receipts from stores and restaurants, if they are the regular receipts that is printed on a receipt paper from cash register, they won't keep. The ink in them will dissappear, it's unfortunately just the nature of this paper and ink. So if you would like to keep receipts so the kids can see and wonder on prices the best way to do it is make a copy and print with printer inks or take a picture and print a picture. It's such a bummer, but I discovered that the hard way :(

Love the voice over. How do you only have 2 booklets? I have a notebook therapy travelers notebook and it’s 4” thick. I know I need to edit but 2 is impossible! I love your decorating style.

I have a Pilot Falcon in SF and honestly, while the nib is flexible, it’s not a true flex nib. You do get some line variation, of course, but not nearly as much as I was hoping for, and to get that variation you really have to flex the nib a lot (which might end up breaking the nib). I was told to look into vintage nibs if I wanted true flex nibs. Thought I’d share, as I was also under the impression that Pilot Falcon would be “the bomb” in terms of line variation.
