Never seen a review dedicated to car audio like this. I put on my air buds and totally felt like I was right there. Great job putting in the effort and nailing the details on this. Savage Geese does something similar, but it’s all numbers, no immersive experience. Looking forward to future audio tests on other cars, definitely a differentiator for your channel.
Thanks Ash, we really appreciate the feedback! Yes, we really appreciate what Mark and the team do at Savage, and we direct people there if they want more objective information.
That’s what makes the channel unique if you want a technical aspect and feel of what the car is like etc suspension etc watch savagegeese, but if you want the audio system speaker test! This is the best channel
I've listened to the Bose audio system in the C8 this past week, and I would say it's a solid 10, unlike some of the cheesy thumpy aftermarket systems. Well done GM!
I'm a Bose fan so I have to give it a 10. I love audio and can't wait to get my C8 Convertible next month and test that system out myself. I'm all about sound quality. I'm not that guy that pulls up to a light and tries to blast other people out of there cars LoL So I'm not sure if you are using that as a base line, that's ok, for me I'm that person that like to feel they are in the band. ALPINE used to be the best of the best for cars. You don't hear about these guys to much anymore. Anyway Love the video. I was wondering if anybody was ever going to let us hear what that would sound like. Greatly appreciated!!
Harman/kardon is really great too. When i drove the c250 coupe mercedes around their was no point in getting a sub or sub box. The surround sound was good enough. I mean- like the doors would shake like a mofo but it was crisp and had low lows no rattling what so ever
Great video! UA-camrs avoid music because they don’t want to get copyright flagged and demonetized. So thanks for doing this! I’m getting my C8 next month. Your assessment of the Bose system meets my expectations. Not the best, but loud. I’ve had many Lexus’ with the Mark Levinson system. Really good system, and takes advantage of the quiet cabin in Lexus. I, along with probably 99.99% of C8 buyers, don’t really care about high end audio in their C8. The audio system is not why we are buying the car. :) Thanks again! Liked and Subscribed! P.s. great name, too! LOL
7:10 idk maybe it is just me but it sounds like a studio grade monitors with my arctis 7 headsets, also sound here isnt even at 50% 😳😳😳 thx for that. Everyone just focuses on exhaust sound and what not but I think since audio speakers are also included into cars, they are a major player and factor here as well as someone who listens music on daily bases i appreciate that. Plus u might find others who just put 20" bass subwoofers into cars, like thats okay too but too much bass gets me dizzy so i appreciate when a car has very well balanced sound to a let's say flat studio grade speakers. and from then you can always tweak it to your heart content. it might not have the strongest bass, but it is very clear, detailed sounding audio system 10/10
I have listen the premium Bose 14 Spkr Sound System in my C8 for about 2 months now. I have to say - given that it's a sports car - its alright - not great - but alright . I can make my ears ring easily - but I never had that audio "Wow" moment. Its just a little better than what I had in my base Lexus (non premium sound system) CT200h (i.e. Lexus version of the Prius). But on the most part - I have no regrets about it.
Great video! I'm sure the system sounds great in person. I have C7 which has a pretty decent Bose system. All of my driving is in the city so I have gotten use to driving without the radio on. I just like to listen to the motor purr. I won't have C8 until the end of the year, but I do look forward to listening to the sound system. Again, great job!
I drove just an LT1 C8 this last weekend and I thought the Bose system sounded fantastic. The bass was really impressive. I imagine the Bose Premium system sounds pretty damn good. My biggest complaint was the volume control. With the small knob, it felt like I had to roll that knob forever to get the volume up/down. Even the steering wheel controls felt very slow in volume response time.
Wow, ok now that is night and day different from the Blows in my c6z06! This sounds more like my wife's Lincoln Aviator and I'm so happy to see Chevy turned it up along with the rest of the interior!!!! Thanks for the great review...:)
It may sound alright but it will not touch the sound of a properly installed aftermarket sound system. Go check of five star car audio. They worked on so many f150 with the Sony and Bang and Olfsen system and replace everything except the head unit and everything about the performance from imaging and transient response to frequency response and tight articulate low end.
I'd be impressed if my coupe didn't have an 18 speaker harman kardon with factory subs for less than this car costs X'D. Nothing against vette's but come on Chevy, don't be cheap.
Bose has never been known for bass or accuracy. There has never been a Bose sound system with any punch in the lower bass range. They are known more for their sound immersion philosophy. A Bose fan would very likely much prefer the Centerpoint function. I am not a Bose fan. But, I am a C8 fan. The 14 speaker Bose sound system in the C8 is not a determining factor in my purchase decision.
The Bose system in my C7 sucks. The system actively cuts bass at higher volumes to protect the speakers. It’s really subpar given what the cars costs. But most would rather hear the exhaust note anyway.
@@RIP.BIG092MLBOA No. There are no aftermarket systems available at this time. The C8 is too new and too rare. No aftermarket company has one to reverse engineer a replacement yet. From most reports, this system is one of the best Bose has ever done. Perhaps because they no longer have an exclusive with GM. Cadillacs newest top of the line vehicles no longer use Bose. A first in a very long time.
So I have the 2020 Z51 3LT HTC. My build sheet with the sticker price on it says the car only has 10 speakers. I’m hoping it’s a misprint and that I do have 14 speakers. If there was only ten speakers which ones would be eliminated and would the grills remain?
Need help with a question.... I have a new (2022) C8 corvette Lt2 with Bose 14 speaker system....While getting acquainted with the audio system I was getting no sound from Sirius and accidentally used the steering wheel to turn volume to MAX. When Sirius finally went on, I was blasted for about 20 seconds until I finally figured how to lower the volume. Do you think I damaged the system or speakers during that short time or at the full volume? Thanks for your opinion.
No objective data? Grab a calibrated mic and a RTA app while running some pink noise and report back. Sound is too subject - what you like I might hate, but the data never lies.
Bose should stay OUT of the car audio business. I pulled all 14 speakers and the amp and went with (2) JL amps (5ch, 4Ch) w DSP and Focal speakers with Illusion subs in the door. Night and day difference in the sound. Much more dynamic and ambient using the normal setting. Super crisp and clean base with true base response and no monotone feel. It will rattle your chest with no distortion!! Can't drive a car if I don't like the stereo.

i guess I am kinda off topic but do anybody know a good place to stream new series online?
@Briar Ashton i use Flixzone. Just search on google for it :)
@Grayson Aydin Yup, have been using FlixZone for since march myself :D

Thats ironic im big into custom quality auido and anything with bose i avoid at all cost.
As the old saying goes “No highs, no lows, must be Bose!” Thanks so much for the review!
I'm in love with this car😍 All I need is 100K incl. Upgrades, tunings and lambo vertical doors😍

I’ve got that in my new C8 that I’m picking up in four days. Yay!
Congrats brother enjoy it and I really hope your life is going good
Thanks. This is the best vehicle audio demonstration I have seen and heard on UA-cam.
I was disappointed with the ambient highway noise. Same issue as with the AMG GT63S.

im in love with this car
Omg that song was beautiful 😍
Thank you man, wish you would record some rock or 80s music in this car.
Great work here. Do you have a play list shown somewhere?
To me the 10 speaker bose system in my c7 is good and plenty. I'm sure the 14 speaker system in this small cabin is more than enough
so alot of us cant use the memory stick in the c8. it just wont recognize it. any advice?

How does the speakers sound with metal music like infant annihilator?
Bose Car music system sounds quiet impressive though my Bose QC35 ii , Head Phones.
Hey buddy, please tell me which music album is this, which you have been played at first

I think they should be okay. Systems have many fail safes these days.
@@DailyMotor Thanks so much, I feel better!
why doesn’t the Corvette have a sub woofer they could have in the passenger foot well on the side like how the Miata does it
Maybe a volkswagen Jetta factory audio system test?
Coming soon!
Jetta sound systems are amazing my dad has one
Aller what year?
Smoke Alarm 2227 2013 and we used to have a 2012
So no speed sensitive volume adjustment setting
Stop far enough away at that light?
U didn't turn the bass up from the settings on the bass test...
Ikr
I hate when people max the bass out, put a little above the middle is always nice
How many watts ?
No objective data? Grab a calibrated mic and a RTA app while running some pink noise and report back. Sound is too subject - what you like I might hate, but the data never lies.
With the eq on flat the subwoofer isnt active in the doors its only the woofer mids and tweeters
Whats is the best sound System ever you here for a car in your opinion?!
Good question
Kolya Guilbault I think Cadillac
Probably the Burmester in the GLS580. Mark Levinson in the GX 460 and Bowers and Wilkins in the XC90 are also very good. - Charlie
@@DailyMotor Have you tried the 2021 escalade?
Apple lossless and buy yourself a Dragonfly Red... You're welcome
Its good enough hahaha, but you’re most likely to listen to the engine roaring than the Bose
super bro
And those aren't no test the bass songs either!!!
take those speakers out put some real ones in anything got boss or jbl on them are made of cardboard take the speaker cover off you will find out.
