Hi! Great video, thanks! Do you have a video how to correctly empty the brew boiler when that element or gasket needs to be replaced. I'd rather put the machine forwards on the front, but in that position water may come out of the boiler right? Or just how to properly empty both boilers for when a machine needs to be shipped. Thanks!
@@lelitinsider2977 Are you sure about 38mm though? I bought a 38mm nut and have some wiggle so I haven’t tried it yet. Also an online shop selling this spare part says its 37mm..?
I have one question: Why does Lelit use copper / brass heating elements inside a stainless steel boiler? Is there a technical reason not to use stainless steel heating elements?
Can you confirm the 100nm torque value? That seems a lot of torque, the boiler itself does not risk to put too much stress on its support while tightening?
yes, in producion we use the boiler support, in the machine you have to be careful to not damage the boiler support of the machine, if you cannot close the heating element too tight you can add some teflon tape on the tread to avoid future leaking
Thanks for this. I tightened mine back to the original spot which was closer to 70 without wrecking the machine. No leaks so all is well.
Excellent video - Just bought a MaraX - A very nice machine.
Many thanks......all the way from London !

@@lelitinsider2977 measured it, it’s 37mm. Removed it with a 38mm though without an issue. Wouldn’t recommend a 38mm for installation though.
What size socket for the coffee brew boiler element?
30
I have one question:

we use copper heating element to avoid Galvanic currents problem, stailess steel heating element in stainless steel boiler can be a problem

I tightened to the spot it was originally which was closer to 70 and I didn't have a leak.
Brew boiler heating element use same torque as well?
