I really appreciate the customer service including these detailed videos. It's one thing reading instructions but seeing it done makes it easy to understand and I can be confident not damage everything. My boiler was leaking and despite descaling, I found a lot of calcium in the boiler and the gasket was damaged, with some corrosion between the halves. I cleaned everything and lightly sanded the top of the boiler half where they meet as corrosion had made some bumpy parts likely interfering with the seal. Now everything fits nicely again and will hopefully be tight, just waiting on the delivery of a new gasket. One question, do I need to add the glue to the copper downcomer pipe in the boiler? Is the purpose to lock it in or to make a seal? If it's just to lock it in so it wouldn't get loose in transport etc, it would probably not absolutely be needed but if it makes the seal then yes. Only asking because I am pretty broke and the glue is quite pricey and I want to make future disassembly easy, as with my very hard water despite filter and descaling there seemed to be quite a buildup so I would like to take it apart again maybe once per year just to check my new scale filter is adequate. And also in plumbing gaskets are often greased, should I grease the gasket between the boiler halves? Seems like a good precaution to keep the new gasket healthy.

Hello, at 8.17 the lower part of the boiler on the outside is made of chromed brass, is it also made of chromed brass on the inside? Is this why you advise against descaling, to avoid citric acid/chromium reactions? Best regards

@LELIT Can You help me a little bit more. I recently change the resistance of my PL41LEM and she's grilled because I connected then at the beginning. It's my fault so I going to buy a other one but, how can fill up the boiler ? Do I need to activate the pump or just turn on the machine ?
@@Michael-hq8fw Hello Miche, yes, you need to activate the pump first to avoid burning out the heating element. Thank you for your question! LELIT team
I'm getting 80 degrees out of the shower screen. Ok we have really hard water and haven't decaled for almost a year. Before descaling the temp was 70. I'm descaling with citric acid. I really don't want to do this procedure just to clean the build up. Are those special formulas worth it?

Thanks for this video! I just got a new Anna PL41TEM and the heating element melted on me. I followed the instructions carefully but when I turned the machine on, no water flowed from the group head nor the steam wand.

After 17:20, it seems that you skip the sequence where the water is filled. Also the wire should be reconnected before the cover is mounted. But I think I get the general idea. (My warrant has expired, so I take the risk.)
