I lived there when this happened. I remember getting three days of school due to the damage.

Wow, 10 years ago. My blue van is to the right in front of the garage. It was totalled. And BTW, I think the music is perfect, despite what some other rude people have said.

The speed at which all this occurs is amazing. It reminds me very much of the videos of the Japanese tsunami in 2011 - within seconds, cars are being pushed around.
And then it's all gone; no water at all.
This is really powerful and I like the music. Sad but fitting.

We were right there just 7 days earlier. Thank God for protecting us & may He continue to protect the residents of Manitou: it's truly a miracle there weren't more fatalities!

Wow, those cars are being g tossed like toys! Reminds me of the tsunami in Japan. Good video, terrible music though. Unfortunately had to mute it. I hope there were no injuries or fatalities. This flood was pretty major.
sad to say, you may as well get used to this...we have many years of these floods to come!

Some cars float because of their weight.the lighter cars go with the current while the heavy cars sit like nothing happened!

Jayma, I understand where you are coming from... However, my logo is only on the video to help prevent others from using/profiting off of my footage. I am also a victim of this tragedy. Are you? This footage is shot from my kitchen window & you can hear my infant in the background. This piece is my art, so why wouldn't I try to maintain a little control? As far as any $ from the music, it will go towards rebuilding.
Jayma and Lucky Luke are examples of clueless, selfish , sad Americans that are the cause of our social breakdown of our country. Thanks for allowing us to know who to avoid. The music is performed by caring, unselfish people that help this world and are personally involved in the reality of this tragic event in Manitou.. as well as myself. Sad that sick people who had poor upbringing are so cruel and uncaring..but true to their nature.. as they live in total selfish fantasy. Sad but true.

The flooding is so bad that emergency crews are only able to get to people by air. It would be suicidal to travel with that kind of flooding going on. It's not as if just this one intersection was having a flash flood, many roads were washed away.

10 bucks the Range Rover fired up and drove off...it did not even get wet Inside. I have been on Range Rover driving course fording a river up to the door mirrors. Amazing vehicles. What a nasty mess u guys had to clean up. Very sorry for your town.n great video however!
