I would love to visit a curly hairstylist and although I understand this is a hard job they charge x2 what a normal, professional hairstylist would. I truly believe they take advantage of being one of the fews who do this, I can’t wait till more people get educated in curly hairs. I tried doing color and haircut and was going to be charged around $500 🙅‍♀️

What we’re charged for gas, food, and health insurance, is “taking advantage”. Those things are life necessities. Getting one’s hair professionally styled is a LUXURY. A stylist SHOULD charge whatever they want. If they’re charging more than they’re worth: they’ll learn and adjust. Either their price or their skill.
If ppl are willing to pay what they’re charging: they’re being valued.

If they want to call themselves a hair stylist, they should automatically know how to cut all, or most types of hair. I don’t see them upcharging women with straight hair because they “went to school and learned how”. Getting curly hair cut costs nearly twice as much as a regular haircut if not more some places.
